45 Jayne and Phil run the most friendly resort that I have ever been too. The staff are absolutely amazing and the level of service is faultless. 2 staff members in particular, Ley and Lek constantly went above and beyond and helped make our holiday really special.
We stayed at Shiva Samui in Baan Astasia for Christmas and New Year 2015 and the celebrations for both were great, especially NYE, thanks so much Shiva, we will be back!
From the start the staff were so incredibly helpful. Simon who helped make the booking made sure we received all of our important features. Beachfront villa, luxury, quiet, great food and close to the village of Lamai beach. Then we met Anne who made us feel so special and accommodated all of our needs. Then there was breakfast, so good. We have just returned from what I would describe as the best Thai massage I have ever had and I have had many.
Spend Xmas and New year here and we absolutely loved it. Villa awesome, beach was beautiful, not crowded. Beach bar and restaurant was great. Staff are awesome especially Lek and Lay. Will DEFINITELY be going back.

Friendly staff (+ dogs) ), nice sea view (not really suitable for swimming though due to low tide), good food & cocktails and nice clean villas with private pool (each small pool only shared between two villas). Massage was awesome as well as the mountain bike tour we did with the guide from Shiva Samui
