Shiva Samui (formerly Samui Beach Village) reviews
45 Great place to chill out during the day overlooking the sea. During the day there are a lot of people with children, patuty, a shallow children's pool.
In the evening there is no one, an excellent view of the sea in the sunset. You can walk along the beach, there are a lot of photos of locations.
Excellent cuisine, everything is at the European level. Prices are above average, but it's worth it. Large portions. Good coffee and cream salmon bagel)
Special thanks to the service, they help and everything is fast.
Nice beach club. You can chill here in peace. Service super good here. Lunch: Pizza a must. Thin and well topped.
Swimming pool slide trampoline basketball
Great for kids
Very nice staff
I recommend
Visited this beautiful beach side for an afternoon in June. New owner, excellent setup, no surcharge to use the facilities, good food, great for kids too with slides and an outdoor play garden. Lovely sun beds, super relaxing and tastefully decorated.
We did not stay at the hotel. Only in the pool and the sea, a crazy and beautiful place, a perfect pool. Excellent trampolines and inflatables. The food is nothing
Food is not worth it! Ordered hummus and got this! Also CHILDREN Pizza Margarita was spicy!
Best place for a birthday party as they have trampoline and waterslide for this kids a great pool and good food
ที่นั่งดื่มชิลชิล บริการดี บรรยากาศน่ามาพักผ่อน มีสระว่ายน้ำ มีนวดใว้บริการลูกค้า มาสมุย ต้องมาที่นี่
Pretty cool place, can use the nice pool if u buy some drink or food. Beautiful beach out front. Good foods. Has tennis courts (which are decent but overpriced to use). Recommend popping in here for a while if ur in the area
It's very touristy. Almost felt like I wasn't in Thailand. If you just want to be at a nice beach with swimming pools. You will probably enjoy it. The service was great.
Stayed at Shiva Samui twice and had an incredible stay both times. The staff were brilliant and went out of their way every single time. The facilities are great and getting better all the time. Can't wait to get back!
Amazing beach resort, good for families. We loved the friendly local dogs who always come for a pet.
I stayed in Baan Tawan at Shiva Resort for 5 nights. It's a beautiful luxury villa with three bedrooms, pool, kitchen, living room, and plenty of open space. This place is great for family with kids looking for an exclusive place to stay in a private gated community. Located within walking distance to the Shiva Beach Club with infinity pool and restaurant on white sand beach far away from the tourist areas in Koh Samui. I recommend staying here for a few nights!
We were invited to visit this Beach Club by its Manager Jane. Jane is very friendly & British, so is her husband. They have lived on Thailand for about 15 yrs. We were made welcome, supplied with towels & a sun bed. The staff were very friendly. Prices were similar to our hotel. The pool looked inviting, but not at all suitable for anyone with a disability which I brought to Jane's attention. The beach is awesome, but extremely shallow. Massages are available at a cost of 600 bht for an hr with oils which I really enjoyed. The poolside area where we were was very attractive but really needs a good clean, discarded cig butts everywhere, lollipop sticks, these were under beds too. Comfortable sun beds, sofas & chairs available. The whole place could do with some TLC, especially the signs which looked very dirty, espec by pool. Can't comment on accommodation as we weren't staying there.
Horrible, jaded, rude staff. The beach club is old and run down, the pool is small and smelly and the restaurant very average. One make staff member refused to let us put two tables together for our party of five. He actually stood between the tables to prevent us. There was no one in the restaurant. As locals we were shocked at how poor the service and attitude is. Harshed our vibe to the point we walked in the beach and went elsewhere. You should do the same, not worth your time and effort there are plenty more places that want your business. Those staff need retraining or moved on.
Amazing place, the food is good the staff are very friendly, you can find everything there for a perfect day. Kid friendly.
A nice place to spend the day, the staff is friendly and takes care of its guests. Thai food is good but the sea is pretty shallow there unfortunately so not the best place to swim.
Shiva Beach Club hat freundliches Personal, ist ruhig, für Familien, Paare und Einzelpersonen sehr gute Einrichtungen
Great place to spend an afternoon. Especially on a Saturday with children as it's family day with buffet and BBQ etc
We booked a beach sofa at Shiva Samui for their Thursday night family beach party. It was amazing. Our kids (aged 6 and 9) had an absolutely incredible time with lumo body painting, dancing, great music and the fire show.
The food and drinks were great, the prices as expected for a beach club and all up one of our best experiences on our holiday. The kids would certainly say so.
All up I would recommend this be on every families itinerary to Koh Samui.
