Roctopus Dive

Did my advanced certification with Jamie and it was a blast! Super fun, got excellent instruction and feedback to improve. Really enjoyed his teaching about the different fish and coral we were seeing. Small groups, experienced and fun instructors. Highly recommend!

Koh Tao has tons of great options to get your open water diving certification (as well as certifications beyond), but Roctopus is the best of the best

No corners are cut (be it safety or otherwise), and by the time you're finished, there's no question that you'll be comfortable and confident underwater

I'd recommend every instructor at the company, but having spent so much time with John Plaskett, you'd be particularly lucky to learn from him

Recently completed my open water course with Roctopus and I would highly recommend! Great team of people, super friendly and my instructor Matt was amazing. Put me at ease when I was struggling and taught me so much over the course. If you’re on Koh Tao and want to dive go see these lot.

Great company to go diving with, they only take a couple people out at once which is super important. Did my first dive ever with them and it was awesome:) Definitely recommend!

We found it really hard to get out koh Tao. We emailed around 10 companies, maybe more and roctopus was really helpful and gave us as much information as we needed. As for the open water course, we couldn't have hoped for a better instructor and company, who helped us learn to dive in the easiest way possible. I will definitely come back for my advanced 30 course!

Roctopus is a medium sized Diving school in Koh Tao. The atmosphere is energetic, the trainers attentive and patient and the experience wonderful. They take a maximum batch size of 4 trainees to 1 trainer. This is very important as some people may need extra attention during the first couple of dives. Frankie, our trainer was patient with us, identifies and corrected our smallest errors and made us safe and efficient divers.

My husband and I completed our open water certification with Desa a couple weeks back. She was a great instructor and knew when to push and pull as appropriate. I was a bit anxious at times and she was very patient with me. The entire staff was great and the small groups for instruction make the experience that much better. Highly recommend! Given more time, we would have gone on to complete our advanced certification as well.

My husband and I dove with rocktopus dive while on ko tao we were with Sheilagh and it was amazing! She was so enthusiastic about diving and it really made the experience awesome we saw some amazing corals and sea life and even got chased by trigger fish guarding a huge eel! The main business shop his right at the pier and they picked us up there and drove us to shop on the beach so easy! Thanks again for a great time.
