Echo Beach Backpackers

I came here alone and I had a really nice stay. They take care, they help you if you need anything, they are friendly and funny. I shared a room with two girls and I had a comfortable bed. I can recommend this hostel.

Stayed at the hostel but waaaaay too expensive for the fact that the hygienic situation is more than mediocre. Plus, they are barely even able to provide one with more than a tiny, thin blanket. I had to ask them three times since every time, I was only provided with another small blanket.eventually, I was able to accrue enough small blankets so that in addition to my personal beach towel, I felt warm enough during nightime to be able to catch some sleep.

No complaints. Solid price, food and staff. One of the more popular hostels on the island for a reason!

It's a good place to go with friends or to male new ones. Pool table, rooms and its on the beach!

Dont rent scooters through this hostel! I had to pay $35 for a mirror that was broken that I had replaced - the couple that owns the rental held our passports hostage until we paid because they knew we had a boat to catch. Decent place to stay though.

Warning: Rent your scooters elsewhere - they parter with an unscrupulous couple, who will keep your passport untill you pay more money.okay place to stay

Friendly staff, great location right on the beach. The rooms and bathrooms are clean. There's a hostel bar which also serves food, although the café/restaurant across the street (next to 7-11) does delicious food and fruit shakes for half the price. The WiFi is really slow and patchy but usable. The best thing about the place is the atmosphere; I was on Koh Phangan for the half moon festival and everyone from the hostel went together in a group; the layout of the common area made it easy to just sit around and get chatting to people. I would stay here again
