Beautiful property and a warm, authentic 5-star service that’s hard on the island. We spent two weeks here and are very happy with the choice. Excellent restaurant and pool area — such a tranquil, quiet setting. I enjoyed using the yoga room and gym, and it was great to have the option of walking on the beach to/from Fisherman’s Village. Will look forward to staying at Zazen again.

Our recent visit to Zazen Spa in Koh Samui was nothing short of extraordinary. Despite the unpredictable weather, the experience was made memorable by the commendable service and attention to detail demonstrated by the spa's staff.

The beachside villa we stayed in was simply stunning. With its tasteful decor and comfortable amenities, it provided the perfect sanctuary for relaxation. The sound of the waves lapping against the shore, coupled with the serene setting, made for a truly rejuvenating retreat.

Unfortunately, I fell ill during my stay. However, this did not dampen my spirits as the staff at Zazen Spa ensured I was well looked after. They regularly sent comforting cups of tea to my room and frequently checked on me, demonstrating an exceptional level of care and compassion.

The weather may not have been on our side, but the hospitality and the overall experience at Zazen Spa more than made up for it. This is a place where you are not just a guest, but part of a family that takes care of you when you're in need and celebrates your wellness when you're in high spirits.

In conclusion, Zazen Spa in Koh Samui offers more than just top-notch spa treatments and luxurious accommodation. It offers a home away from home, where each staff member works tirelessly to create an atmosphere of comfort and care. I can't wait to return and relive the wonderful memories I've made here.

Beautiful property, garden, spa, beach! Our room seemed slightly outdated, but clean. The restaurant could be better…

I wish i could stay there longer. We stayed at the beach front bungalow for 4 nights, it was superb. The room was decorated beautifully in Thai style. The food was excellent, lot of choices for breakfast and especially their restaurant. OMG, the best in town! We had a very great memory there. Great hospitality, attention to detail. Worth every penny. Definitely highly recommended!

I was badly electrocuted by a faulty teapot here and dropped a dish because of it. Not only did they not believe me being electrocuted, but they also tried to charge me for the dish that was dropped because of it. Later they confirmed that it was in fact a faulty teapot, but did nothing about it.

Also ruined painstakingly planned anniversary surprise, and the expensive dinner that went with it by flat out telling my spouse the surprise, but also talked about the surprise room we had booked.

The premium beachfront room we booked a couple nights at 200+ total was right next to active construction, the private beach was tiny and packed in with imported, coarse, hard to walk on sand and other patrons with loud children.

Overall horrible experience
with both communication and management. Almost laughably bad.

Very nice holiday at the beach front bungalows. Staff are very nice and the place is well kept even during the pandemic. I would definitely recommend this place and already plan to go back next time we’re on Samui.

Very relaxing place, even though it rained so much when I was there and you couldn't swim in the sea at that time because they needed to put sandbags down. I still give it 5 stars for just being a really pleasant, relaxing place with polite and friendly staff. Nice dinners, good wine, the cleaning staff were just lovely. So was the parking attendant, who helped me when my bike got a flat tyre by driving the bike to the garage down the road - so much appreciated. Thank you, I so often wish I was still at your delightful hotel!:)

อาหารเช้าเป็น set. มีนกเจ้าถิ่มบินมาขออาหารทุกเช้า.
ดีที่พนักงานดี บริการดี จำลูกค้าได้ อัธยาศัยดี.

Delicious food with excellent customer service! Absolute "thrilling" experience but also a visual treat to the eyes with an enchanting route filled with bamboo trees, tropical sounds, light shows leading to a wooden bridge walkway. Highly recommended. This restaurant is mesmerizing and captures all your senses!

This restaurant is beautiful and romantic. It's a perfect place to have a romantic dinner with your loved one. I is situated on a terrace overlooking the beach and the sea. The service is immaculate and very friendly and professional. The menu is sparsely but well prepared and very tasty full. I will highly recommend this restaurant, a special if you, like us want to celebrate a special occasion.

I could not recommend Zazen more highly. We booked for 2 nights, and ended up staying 2 extra because the space is so lovely. Alexander and his wife are extremely friendly and welcoming, the staff is superb, and the food is delicious. Located right on the beach, it has all the amenities you could ask for; kayaks, SUPs, a fully equipped gym, spacious yoga room, pool table, extensive garden, pool, and great bar/restaurant. Rooms are large and well-decorated and they seem to be keen on making constant additions to the already spectacular property. 10/10, don't miss it!

We stayed here 3 nights at the beginning of our trip to recharge our batteries and were delighted with the quality and welcome provided by the hotel. The location to relax is fine, the hotel is 20 minutes from the fisherman village on foot.
We were well greeted by the staff who told us our room which was spacious and nice. We have nothing to say, the comfort was there, on the other hand, a plus would be to have a mosquito net for the bed, because there are many mosquitoes.
We were also seized by the services available, welcome cocktail, as well as the activities, we advise everyone to read the information provided in the room so as not to miss a great opportunity. We participated in the Thai massage course, we did a massage at the spa (be careful because it is more expensive than Thai standards) and enjoyed a meal with traditional dances. In the shortcomings, the bar is good but closes early, we arrived the first evening after 6pm non-stop planes, it was 10pm and we asked if it was possible to have a cocktail, the answer was negative, which we were a little disappointed because we wanted to relax without having to leave the kidneys. Another shortcoming was the lack of "paddle and canoe", when we were clearly not more than 4 people on the beach. There should be more than one of each. The breakfast is excellent and really good and varied.

Very good dinner, we had two starters (cose salad and cake), a green curry and a dessert tastings. Everything was good, only remarks for dessert, we found the macarrons very bad because the inside had a heavy butter taste, we think this could be improved as well as the eating ball that lacked taste, very heavy and sweet. The rest of the desserts, especially tiramisù and crème brûlée, were excellent.
This restaurant is perfect for a romantic dinner, the prices are more expensive than the Thai standard but a good relation to the quality of the dishes. Price range €€

We received a very warm welcome from the driver, the reception, the manager, the gardener, the restaurant and the beach staff; this sums it up quite well; traditional Thai hospitality at its best. Beautiful gardens, everything in the room was tip-top, great food (the breakfast!), excellent gym. I will certainly come gain.
