The listing details and photos do NOT do justice to capture the absolute perfection of Villa Kalyana. I spent a week there in January with 40 of my closest friends and family, and it was without exaggeration the best time of my life by a far margin, bar none. The staff is impeccable and warm, the food phenomenal (I went to the Night Market and the food was better at the Villa), large rooms that are comfortable and gorgeously laid out, you have your own private stretch of beach along with 3 resort level pools, and it's like being on your own private island with no security concerns, no worries, just fun and the time and space to focus on only good times with good people. And if you plan correctly, the per person cost allocation is so reasonable for the 5-star level accommodations, service, and experience. An incredible value, can't recommend enough.

Our family stayed at Villa Kalyana last week for 5 nights for my little cousin's wedding and had the time of our lives. Our villa was kept impeccably clean, with the perfect amount of privacy but convenience and splendid view of the pool, grounds and beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the service impeccable, the food delicious, and no detail was left untended. My husband and children and I were sad to leave and most grateful for our time there. Would highly recommend Villa Kalyana and it would be a dream to get to return someday.

Where do I begin. My husband and I wanted a place where our two groups of friends and family could truly become one. We spent four days living in the ultimate 5-Star luxury that Villa Kalyana bosts.not only is the Villa absolutely INCREDIBLE, the staff were absolutely amazing and so insanely accomodating. Truly, this wedding could not have existed were it not specifically for Villa Kalyana's Event Coordinator, Rebecca Allen. From the my very first contact with Rebecca I felt I was in great hands. I asked a LOT of Rebecca and her team, and even still they went above and beyond what we could have ever imagined to be possible. We had four days of events, wedding included, and I can honestly say that both my husband and I were COMPLETELY relaxed and carefree the entire time. That my friends, is almost completely unheard of. Rebecca is a ninja. She is organised, prompt, creative, to the point and one hundred percent commited to creating the most memorable day (s) of your life. In short - the wedding planner of your dreams. To this day our wedding is still talked about, and will remain iconic. Styled to perfection, seemless flow and presentation, and the most exquisite of accomodations. Rest assured you will never regret your time at Villa Kalyana! Whether its a wedding, retreat, family/friends holiday - it really is the best place on this EARTH!

Amazing villa and staff! We had our wedding here in March 2019 and it was the trip of a lifetime! It’s hard to know where to start with this review as I feel that nothing I can say will ever come close to describing the most incredible experience we were so lucky to have. We stayed for 5 days and the service was impeccable from start to finish. I thought planning a destination wedding abroad would be hard but Rebecca was phenomenal! She took care of every detail and made all of our dreams come true! We were pretty nervous about arranging a destination wedding across the world for 45 people, all of our guests were coming from the United States and some had never traveled international before! Rebecca instantly puts your mind at ease throughout all of the planning. Even the day of and day before the wedding she was so helpful in helping me not be nervous and remain calm. All of our travelers made it to the Villa easily with the transport they arranged from the airport. As soon as we arrived at the villa we were welcomed by the staff with welcome drinks and were just in awe of how beautiful the villa is. I had never seen it in person and had only seen pictures. The pictures do not do it justice, it is overwhelming how stunning the location and facilities are! It is the most beautiful place I have ever seen and I could not believe that this was where we were going to have our wedding. The villa is right on the beach and there are kayaks you can take to a nearby temple. The beach is beautiful as well as the 3 pools! The 3 villas are spread out enough that it isn’t loud if people are hanging out by the pool. The people that went to bed early couldn’t hear us at all. The 3rd villa has a cool pool that has colored lights in it that we had fun with. All 3 of the villas are gorgeous and have their own unique special things about them. The staff at the villa were absolutely incredible! The staff was so helpful in helping us to inflate the pool floats we brought. Mam and Sonja were outstanding! From minutes after arriving they made us feel as though they had known us for years and instantly put us at ease. They knew all of our guests names by day 2 and were always asking if everything was ok and if there was anything else they could do to help. They were so helpful in organizing lunch and transport for daily activities for the guests. Every single one of our guests were blown away by the service. We absolutely fell in love with Mam and Sonja and felt like they were part of our family! Rebecca is also phenomenal! She listened to exactly what we wanted and she delivered it far beyond our expectations. I don’t have words to do her justice except I just wish everyone could experience having their wedding day planned by her. Everything was absolutely beautiful, she was so helpful helping me to pick out the vendors and décor. I wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted at first and she was able to help me with ideas and finding great suggestions for me to pick from. She also arranged for fire dancers to perform at our wedding that were incredible! All of our guests said our wedding seemed like something out of a movie, some said it was the best wedding they had ever been to! On our wedding day, we were guided through the proceedings seamlessly, not having to think or worry about anything at all. Rebecca had everything planned perfectly. From start to finish, everything was perfect and we genuinely had the best day of our lives! Rebecca, Mam, Sonya and every single member of staff were just fantastic and genuinely wanted us all to have and amazing time. We honestly wouldn’t change a thing about our whole experience and all our guests have said the same (so much that they are all pushing for a Thailand reunion trip out there again for one of our anniversaries!) You have created such a special venue, team, and experience that we will be forever grateful for. We hope to see you again very soon!

This place is amazing. Its on the sputhern end of the island so your away from the noise of all the tourists. But you have to get a cab to get anywhere. The views are spectacular and the beach they have here is perfect. Maam.head of the staff is an amazing host with so much knowledge of the island. You will not regret staying here.

We had our wedding Celebration and Party at the (3 nights)
We were a group of 30 People and we spend some of the best days of our life there.

From the pre planning of the wedding with Rebecca to the transfer of the guests to and from the Airport to the Food and the location, it was just perfect.

All the staff was very friendly and helpfull.
The wedding day itself was just mind-blowing, not even a singel thing went not according to the plan. It went so smooth we couldn’t have asked for more.

Our guest and us enjoyed the tranquility and the luxury of the place.it’s been 3 weeks since we left and we miss this place so much.

The estate is also very well maintained with a great level of attention to details.

Beautiful place to stay!

Location: to be honest this is quite a distance from the more populated areas of kosamui and generally took a long cab ride to get anywhere (eg airport is 50mins away) though the advantage is that it was very peaceful.
Food: I’m not sure if it was the group I was part of but we had to order all of our meals the day before which was very limiting. That said the food was beautiful!
Room: the room was great and the property was very well kept. This was my third trip to Koh Samui and this was the best property. The only two things I noted:
- our room was the type that has a door to the next villa if you have booked both. Since we only had one villa and the door was not sound proof we could hear our neighbours and found ourselves having to whisper.
- Also the TV didn’t seem to work.
Service: the staff were really very friendly!
WIFI: free and fast!

It was an absolute dream at villa kalyana! Loved it and would recommend this dream place a holiday in paradise to stay at. The staff here are very hospitable and kind. Would love to visit and stay here again.

Just wanted to say the staff were AMAZING! They were superb in handling the large group of people that were here. The food provided was fantastic! Everything about this place is great. We attended a wedding here and it was spectacular.

We just spent 3 nights here at a family wedding and we experienced 7 Star service and would most definitely be back.

Sisters wedding here. Fab, private beach, fab food, staff available for any needs, go shop etc. Rooms huge, absolutely brill. 2 pools, Jacuzzi, games room, pool table, DVD room with beanbags, brill.

I had the most amazing time at Villa Kalyana sharing a special friends special birthday we have nothing but good things to say about this venue. Staff were awesome - Mam is a legend. Pure paradise, highly recommended. (sorry for initial 2 Star - I didn't even know it was posted until now.my phone must have bumped around in my pocket, apologies)

I got married at the Villa Kalyana in April 2017 – we rented Villa 1 and Villa 2 and stayed for 5 nights.

We have never been anywhere so beautiful and incredible then this place – it has an atmosphere that just makes every day a blessing.

My husband and I spend a lot of time in Thailand, especially Koh Samui. We did a lot of venue shopping for a venue and I can say this without a shadow of a doubt this is the best Villa for your wedding. The Villa can house all of your guests in the one places where a lots of other on the island cant.

Our wedding planner was the beautiful Rebecca Allan…… I call her my fairy wedding planner. Nothing was too much for her from planning, communication, problem solving it felt like she went above and beyond every time we spoke with her. One of my many favourite things about her is how calm, thoughtful and relaxed she is – this made the planning and execution of our wedding a dream come true. Everything I asked for and imagined she made happen exactly the way it looked in our minds. I can’t thank her enough for giving us something so special that we treasure every day. Words will never be able to explain how grateful we are to her as planning a wedding from a different country can be challenging but with Rebecca it was an absolute pleasure – Love you Becky!

Another shout out I have to give it to Mam – She is the villa supervisor and makes sure that the guests are looked after and everyone is doing what they are supposed to. To me she is such a beautiful person, the way she made me and my family feel is something that you don’t get in other places. It really is one of the reasons this places is so special. Another person I have to mention is Sonja, again another remarkable addition to the villa, she really added to all of our experience. All of the staff from the chefs, gardeners, cleaners etc.are astounding, they really have this places sussed and have it running like a well-oiled machine. You should all be very proud as it wouldn’t be the place it is, without your guys (Rebecca Included).

This place is a dream and as close to paradise as you can get. My advice to anyone who is thinking about staying here whether it is a wedding, family party/holiday or just a well deserve holiday for a big group is GET IT BOOKED! You won’t regret it, we are already talking about having a reunion in 2019 with all of our family and friends.

I photographed a wedding here and loved my experience with the venue and with the staff. It's a perfect venue for a classy yet laid back wedding.

The photos do not do the place justice. The villa is amazing! The staff and service were excellent, and the rooms, buildings and pools are stunning. There has been a lot of thought and consideration taken in the design and layout of the facilities, we could not fault it.
We stayed 4 nights here which included our wedding ceremony and reception, it was the perfect location.
Thanks to Peter, Renaud, and all the villa staff for making us feel welcome and creating a most memorable experience.

My husband & I recently stayed at Villa Kalayana for our wedding. 30 of our closest family & friends stayed in the villa for the week with us and we were all so very impressed. The villa itself is beyond beautiful. Better then the photos on the website by far! The staff and service they provided throughout our stay was exceptional. In particular the efforts they went to ensure the children were all looked after. All of the staff were honestly so accomodating and friendly. They also spoke great english. The food was also amazing and so affordable! We are so happy we chose to say at the villa and only wish we had chosen to stay longer! We highly recommend it.
