We celebrated our wedding there last year and spent wonderful 6 days with our guests that we will never forget. From the location, to the food, the planning, but above all the people behind it - everything was perfect. We created an unforgettable movie on the beach, magical menus and great trips on and around Koh Samui.

We couldn't have imagined a more beautiful place for our wedding and created some amazing memories. Thank you to Rebecca and the whole team. Love you!

Wow, where do I even begin? … Our wedding at the Kalyana Villa in Koh Samui was an absolute dream come true. Rebecca (weddingplaner) and her team were like wedding superheroes – they took care of everything flawlessly. From the very beginning, it was clear that we were in the hands of experts who genuinely cared about making our day perfect. Thanks to Rebecca's meticulous planning, our wedding went off without a hitch. The evening was simply magical and we owe it all to her. If you're searching for a stunning venue with an amazing team behind it, Kalyana Villa is the place to be. Thank you, Rebecca, for giving us an unforgettable and utterly wonderful experience that we'll treasure forever.

Our decision to choose Villa Kalyana as our wedding venue turned out to be an absolute delight as it surpassed our expectations in every possible way. Without exaggeration, it was an unparalleled experience that will forever remain etched in our hearts as the best day of our lives.
Rebecca and her team went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was tailored to perfection. They not only accommodated our specific ideas but also expertly organised aspects that we were uncertain about.
Words cannot express our gratitude to Villa Kalyana for creating such a remarkable experience for us. We will cherish the memories forever.

I went to this hotel to celebrate the wedding of my lovely friends. We stayed here for 5 days and we had an amazing experience. The hotel is very clean and the admin and her power team thought about every single detail. Really recommend it.

All I can say is WOW
The location accommodation staff absolutely wonderful
The super dooper wedding planner aka Wonder Woman/Rebecca was an angel
All in all there's not a place I would have wanted to attend my step daughters wedding on the planet
Perfection?

We recently held our wedding at Villa Kalyana in Koh Samui, Thailand with the wonderful Rebecca at the helm and as our wedding planner. We literally had the best wedding you could hope for, and we wanted to leave this review for other couples who might be considering Kalyana for their special day.

We booked our wedding in October 2018 and it was originally planned for May 2020, unfortunately, due to pandemic we had to postpone our wedding 3 times, but we finally said I do Friday 25th February 2022. As you can imagine dealing with multiple postponements on our side was tough, especially given we also booked the travel for all our guests including further stays in Koh Phangan and Bangkok after the wedding week. But Rebecca gracefully was dealing with multiple weddings being postponed and moving goalposts every single day, and you would never have known it. She patiently supported us every step of the way and without a doubt made Feb 22 happen, with us both dealing with ever changing Government rules of entry, Rebecca moved heaven and earth to gain SHA+ status allowing the wedding to finally go ahead. It felt like Rebecca became an immigration, travel, government policy expert along with personal therapist to make this happen. We are so grateful and as are our 37 guests who came with us and my ever so proud parents.

Putting that aside our wedding week was phenomenal! We hosted 3 events the first being a surprise birthday party on the Monday after we arrived on the Sunday for some of guests who had significant birthdays during lockdowns. Rebecca and the team organised an outdoor BBQ, DJ and Karaoke which everybody loved. We then hosted a further surprise on the Wednesday with a boat party on a floating bar called Heaven, this was the most fun day and because we couldn’t attend the full moon party Rebecca got us lots of Neon face paints, fancy dress, wings you name it she got it and it turned it into our very own full moon party floating out in the bay in the Samui.

Finally, we then got to the wedding day on the Friday, and everything went to plan, and we couldn’t have wished for a better day. Rebecca and Beau managed all our suppliers and only choosing the very best to meet our brief which she massively guided us on every step of the way. We had the most stunning décor and the ceremony was just stunning in front of the ocean, we further surprised our guests (we LOVE a surprise) with our best friend marrying us and a Drag Queen stopping the ceremony to perform it should have been me (see social media, legendary) and then on to a Thai Water ceremony which we highly recommend, it brings all your guests into the ceremony and it feels quite spiritual and has so much meaning.

We then had cocktails & canapes, a beautiful wedding breakfast which every said was the best Thai food they have ever tried! We went for the fire show which the guests LOVED and the pictures are out of this world and finally we danced the night away with a Saxophonist and DJ which bought it all together really well.

So again, we say massive thank you to Rebecca, Mamm, Beau and all of the team at Villa Kalyana. You are the very best at what you do, and you will forever be in our hearts, you made our dreams come true and we are eternally grateful.

Anyone considering getting married in Samui, consider Kalyana it’s the best decision you will ever make.

Amazing location, friendly staff, all you need is right there. Great place for small to medium size groups of people who want to share a tropical holiday together.

So everyone who has been here has given it 5 stars, I just wish I could have experienced it myself.
The reason for the one star is because when it was a GLOBAL DISASTER (Covid19) the venue planner ghosted all of us not giving us updates and if we did receive updates it was very blunt or just waving us off saying everything is fine, trying to sugar coat it so they could just take our money.

So I was suppose to go to my friends wedding in Thailand in April and then when covid19 had happened there was a global shut down, the bride and groom had reached out to the venue 1 month before asking the situation only to be brushed off again and again saying "it's not a big deal. " How is covid 19 not a big deal? And Rebecca Allen, the planner is supposed to be helpful and accommodating but all of us just got waved off. Are we all not human? How could you just dismiss us like it was nothing? It was supposed to be my friends big day and obviously you don't just pull this money out from thin air, it's been something that they have been saving for. All of us had been saving for this moment.

Once US had announced a lockdown and there was to be no international travel they had let Rebecca and the owner Peter Mack know, you would think they would try to work it out immediately as they are paid to do this and have some sympathy. Nope, Rebecca made it seem as though it wasn't her problem, Thailand has no cases so it's not a big deal to her. And PETER! HELLO? ! ANYBODY THERE? !
The bride and groom tried ask if they could get their deposit back because it wasn't a personal problem they had to cancel it was a pandemic that was world wide, and usually venues are more than happy to give the deposit back and COMMUNICATE with you to work out the situation. Rebecca's response to this. "Go through your insurance" which they couldn't have because they paid the villa directly through wiring so there are no bank statements to fall back on or to dispute. Talk about no sympathy when there's a pandemic. Money hungry much?

The bride and groom is the voice for all of us needing information if we could travel there or not or do we need to cancel everything. They have been emailing non stop trying to get a reply only to be ghosted for 4 weeks. Finally after getting a reply it was they were on lockdown too. So.any refund? Nope. As you can see after all this Rebecca you think the bride and groom or any of us would like to give you our business anymore? You were very unresponsive when everyone needed you the most and did not reply for a whole month. You did say the wedding can be postponed but after seeing the ugly side of you can't say you are too great of a wedding planner. You should change professions. A planner needs to be there to help plan. You were only there when it was convenient for you.

It's too bad we couldn't experience the villa, and it's just very unprofessional what had happened. I had wish the Villa had pulled through strong with customer service and we didn't have to see this side of only being money hungry. Service when there is only money but when there is a natural disaster or global pandemic don't expect any good service or any service at all.

Spent one week here for sister's wedding.

Looking to get shacked up now so I can go back.

The grounds and food were certainly predictable highlights, but the service was beyond any expectation. Truly wonderful people at Villa Kalyana and I already miss them dearly, they'll make you want to go back!

This place has so many 5 star reviews. All of these are completely accurate about both the service, experience and especially Bec. We’re here to tell you about our wedding at Villa Kalyana.

Before even booking, we spent a full day of our holiday driving around Koh Samui looking at weddings venues. We didn’t find anything inspiring and went back home to Australia a little disappointed.

But then we found Villa Kalyana online. We made an enquiry, and from the outset Bec was nothing short of amazing.

She truly made our wedding happen. She thought of everything to make our dream wedding a reality (more than we could have even considered). Her extensive knowledge, contacts around the island, and the staff around her made it all incredible. Her professionalism aside, Bec is warm, positive and genuinely cares and is invested in making your wedding the best that it can be.

The villa itself is simply amazing. The wow factor you get when you arrive is just on a whole other level, and made a huge impression on us (even after we spent a LOT of time looking at the photos). It was breathtaking. It was like our own private island with all our wedding guests, we wish we’d stayed more than the 4 nights we’d booked.

The food during our stay was fantastic, and we give massive props to the chefs for accommodating everyone.

Speaking of staff, Mam and Sonia and the rest of the crew were incredible. They were so good with all our guests, especially the kids we had among our party.

The wedding day itself was like a fairytale. We’d seen photos on Facebook of past weddings and thought we’d have to spend an exorbitant amount to achieve that, but it was all achievable in our budget. Bec’s hands on approach made sure things ran smoothly, she coordinated all the vendors, took care of everything and was a legitimate angel at every single stage.

Even with the coronavirus closing in on the world (and we think we were the last wedding guests they had before international travel stopped) we had an absolute blast.

All our guests had nothing but high praise for Bec, the staff and the villa.

We really cannot recommend this place enough. If you’re considering a wedding anywhere in Southeast Asia, this is where you need to have it.

I stayed at Villa Kalya for 1 week with ~40 others for an onsite vacation and wedding.

It was all simply unreal from start to finish. Rebecca, Mam and the onsite staff were so thoughtful, and kind. The property itself was perfect for a group of 40, mostly couples—it was so well balances between congregating (big dining and seating areas, and more private areas (hammocks, and quiet nooks by the beach). I would say our number was perfect for this venue, and I wouldn't exceed 50 if you plan to eat each meal together. The beach is simply gorgeous. The wedding was the most unreal - there were so many surprises for guests and for the bride alike. I don't know that it's possible to experience something so amazing.
My favorite things: Strong air conditioning, Excellent shower, Sunrise from the beach, Soft beach sand, Well-appointed gym, good coffee maker, and the food - thai, american - their cooking and the quality of the food was just so good, I couldn't resist seconds and thirds), and of course - the entire staff! —we all left in tears like we were leaving family.

My stay at Villa Kalyana was nothing short of magical. The grounds are even more gorgeous in person, the rooms very comfortable, the food delicious, and the service efficient and friendly. By the end of the trip, the staff of Villa Kalyana felt like family!

We had an incredible experience at Villa Kalyana Koh Samui Thailand Beachfront. The location was beautiful: views, rooms, pool area, etc. We loved the staff as well - they were so lovely, and made us feel as though we really were at home. No question whether we would return if given the opportunity.

My husband and I recently visited Villa Kalyana with a group of friends for a beautiful wedding!   This was our first time to Ko Samui and my first time to Thailand.   We could not have enjoyed our experience more.   The rooms were spacious and beautiful with incredible views.   We loved spending time at the pools overlooking the beach. The ocean water was clear and warm.   The food cooked for us for every meal was delicious.   We enjoyed getting to know everyone that worked at the property.   We came back with so many amazing memories!   We can't wait to visit again!

I was lucky enough to experience this incredible villa for a full week alongside friends and family for my sister's wedding. From the second we arrived to the villa, it was 5-star service everyday all day. I honestly can't say enough nice things about Rebecca, Mam, Sonya and the amazing villa staff. They truly went above and beyond to make sure that the guests felt comfortable and relaxed. Not to mention, they were able to throw an EPIC wedding for my sister pretty last minute. The property itself is so luxurious yet you still get that island vibe since you have access to two crystal clear pools and your own private beach. Also, major props to the chef as every single meal, snack and dessert provided by the villa delighted all of our picky palates. It's safe to say that Villa Kalyana holds a special place in all of our hearts and we can't wait to come back in the near future!

Spent a week here for a wedding and Villa Kalyana was more amazing than I ever could have imagined! The villa is beautifully appointed and pristinely maintained. It's located on an exquisite beach at the bottom tip of the island so it feels very private. My room was super comfortable with everything I needed, and the views were incredible! Many wonderful indoor and outdoor common areas for entertaining and hanging out. The ocean is right there to enjoy, and several pools and lounge areas sit just in front of the beach. We had visits from masseurs and a yoga instructor, all of whom were excellent. The food onsite was so delicious I looked forward to every meal! Many many thanks to the lovely staff who were so sweet and helpful. Such a wonderful and special place!
