Make sure you come to the right place, don't go to Merrit Life Café, which took this place's name and is right next door.

Really nice decor and view, food is pretty pricey, but I'd say it's worth it for the better quality food and really nice vibe that the place provides.

The view is great but the service was awful.
I wanted to order a special deal “coffee+cake” at 16: 57.
One of the waitresses told me she has to check, because the deal is available till 17: 00.
Strange, right? The cake was delicious, btw.
She also didn’t respond to my “thank you”. Twice. Should we consider it impolite or simply rude?
And yeah,
Be prepared to pay extra 7% vat to the price in the menu.

Great service and view, but the food was underwhelming for the price. Beautiful presentation but had higher expectations.

We stayed at the retreat for 8 days so we had breakfast and dinner here almost every day and some days we had breakfast lunch and dinner. I can honestly say every single meal I had was sensational so much so that I ate too much food at every sitting. Whether you are eating from the buffet or the menu every single meal delivered freshness and flavours. The staff in the cafe are the most beautiful friendly people you will meet. If you are not staying at the retreat then you’ll have to visit the cafe more than once! You will not be disappointed!

Nice place. The view is gorgeous and the food was fine. Expensive for what it was and THB500 for a packed yoga class was too high - not the best value for money but it was nice to visit once.

Incredible place. The buffet breakfast is exceptional for those into organic, wholesome food. The vibe is great, the view is stunning. We ended up spending the majority of our time in Koh Samui hanging here enjoying the amazing food, beautiful view, comfy beanbags & chill ambience. Our two kids (under 4) loved it too.

This place is so expensive! For one cappuccino you will be expected to pay 128 baht and are taxed extra when you pay! Almost 4 euro for a coffee. Ridiculous! You are far better off to go anywhere else and you will still get the same view, this is daylight robbery.

I’ve had about 5 meals here in the past few days, and all but one were very good! The one that was “eh” for me just wasn’t my taste; I wouldn’t say it was bad. Staff is lovely. Many creative vegan, vegetarian, and/or GF options. The portions are the right size. You can tell that the ingredients are of high quality because you actually feel great after eating here. -1 star as they are significantly more expensive than comparable restaurants.

Amazing view, creative dishes and lovely interior. Nevertheless the prices are on western level but the dishes are totally worth it.

Just two points of critic:
- when not being in the hotel getting breakfast while the buffet is created is not that ideal. Everyone is busy getting the buffet ready therefore it is taking a little long. Maybe a quick hint when arriving would be nice.
- Furthermore that the fruit juice is not available because the buffet is currently in preparation doesn’t fit to this level of the restaurant (from our opinion) and leaves a bad taste for „external“ guests.

Fantastic veiw, design and staff at this place, but. Seems a bit extreme to charge 7 euros for an average cappuccino and americano in Thailand. Prices in Europe are less than this, plus a bit sneeky to not include tax in the menu price and to add it on to the bill when you pay, haven't expericed this before.

Delicious food! Fresh, local, oragnic health supportive whole food meals with international inspiration. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options available. If you want a fantastic view while you eat a healthy meal that does not compromise on taste and flavor then Vikasa Life Cafe is the spot for you.

Loved the atmosphere. The place. The food.
Large plates, so don't over order. It comes in large portions and it is amazingly good! Enjoy it guys.

Just had our second meal at Vikasa. The food is amazing (I’m a vegetarian), my family (meat eaters) loved it too. Nice staff, BREATHTAKING views.

The restaurant has an excellent view overlooking the ocean and some small resort villas in Vikasa. We came here for drinks after a yoga lesson and tried some of its signature juice. It’s very relaxing just sitting there watching the sea, with some healthy juice to enjoy.

Das ist sehr teuer für thailändische Verhältnisse, schmeckt nicht, sieht nur schön aus. Aber schöne Aussicht und freundliches Personal.
