Well, where to start what an amazing day's fishing. Right from the start got a nice warm welcome, twenty minutes in to the session fist carp and this carried on all through the day. In total of 20 fish carp from 30 - 85lb and three different species of catfish and not forgetting the alligator gar. The guides we had were fantastic even the wife enjoyed it
Would definitely recommend.
And just to add they really care for there fish.

Its the best fishing park in Samui, always exciting action here, good fishing, good food and you can stay over for the night, make sure to book 1st. Very reasonably priced.

Very friendly and welcoming owner, great fishing, and good food! Had a great day and I'll definitely be back for some more. Would recommend to anyone visiting Samui!

Simon the owner and his fishing guides are friendly and helpful the fishing is excellent with lots of action.we stayed in one of the on site suites which was clean and well equipped, food was also very good

Fantastic fishing resort under new ownership of Simon, great guides to help you catch huge fish and to take care of the fish. Lovely place to stay with great accommodation, the whole place is well maintained and very clean.
Lovely food cooked fresh for you with good choice and bought to your swim, cannot recommend enough.

Der ältere der beiden Großfischteiche auf Koh Samui, was dem großartigen Fischbestand definitiv zu Gute kommt! Mittlerweile kann man gezielt auf Fischarten ansitzen. An diesem Tag war Carp mein Zielfisch, die Boilies muss man zwar extra zahlen, lohnt aber definitiv! Ich konnte Giant Siamese Carp, manche nennen die auch Black Carp, bis über 80 Pfund landen! Ich fing insgesamt 15 Fische an einem Tag, darunter die Monsterkarpfen, gute Mekongs, ein Redtail von 94 cm und einen Alligator Gar von 1,27 Meter!
Die Guides sind super, mega professionell und geben die ganze Zeit ihr Bestes damit immer wieder der Bissanzeiger kreischt. Shawn, der Besitzer könnte etwas freundlicher sein Ausrüstung ist gut, das Essen auch sehr lecker und die Portionen haben eher europäische Größe. Zuschauer sind auch willkommen.

Absolutely beautiful place had a fabulous 4 hours fishing. Couldn't get enough. So i booked another 6 hours for this Friday. Friendly staff and great owner. All really helpful, recommend to anyone even if your not into fishing what a buzz thanks again. Ill see you friday sean and julie:)

I went there with my girlfriend two weeks ago, we had a good time! You can catch some really good and big fish! The place was lovely. The guids were funny and knew a lot of things. My guide instead was all the time on his phone and answered my quiestions just wit yes/no, even if they required a bit of a better explanation! Anyway the price for fishing was reasonable and it was worth the price. What i didnt understand is the price that you pay for the rods, reels and the things that beep when you catch something in case you brake them.i would understand the rediculous amount of money if they were brand new.but the guids kick them with their feet and treat the gear nit very well.the next thing is the price for the food and beverages, we paid 220 thai bath for a coffee, you can get a big meal for the same amount of money.and you are not allowed to bring your own food indont want to know the price for a meal there. The ower was not that bad as many other people describe him. I was scared of him, yes but he was ok. Maybe he had a bad day but he was really bot friendly.would reccomend go there but 1 time is enough i would say

My 7-year-old son was so excited to visit Top Cats on our recent visit to Koh Samui. He is enthralled by fishing and this was a great experience for him. Even though we didn't make an appointment beforehand, the staff was happy to let him book a four-hour session on the spot. The guys who helped him were fantastic and he hooked two Asian Redtail Catfish. He was so excited to be able to get in the water and hold the fish for photos. If you like fishing, this is definitely an experience you won't forget. After we left, he immediately talked about going back again.

I went as company for a mate who’s really into carp fishing, I did the 4 hour thing which was $100. No transfers either.
It was expensive but I could see where the money was spent, The Fish are in superb condition and the guides are very professional.

We have just left Topcats after spending the week here and I am sad to say that we coukd not stay longer. Everything from the service to the fishing has been spectacular and I couldn't disagree with any previous bad reviews more. I didn't fish myself as it is my partner who is the fisherman however I have really enjoyed myself and look forward to coming again next year. The guides were absolutely brilliant and know exactly what they are doing! The food was amazing (one of the best cashew chicken & yellow curry I have had in Thailand). The lodge was cleaned to a high standard every day. The staff work together as a whole to make sure you have everything you need. For those who leave bad reviews I can only imagine that the problem was with yourselves because I really couldn't fault a single thing! See you soon everybody at Topcats. We will be back!

Nice pond, good variety of gamefish (see pics in the net). Excalibur rods and - partly - brandnew US-Baitrunner-Reels. Owner obviously from the UK, halfhearted reception, ohne feels more tolerated than welcome. No tips, no tricks, no explanation. Guide was ok, tried to catch fish for us. Fellow fisherman wanted to give us two of his catching boilies, guides intervened, we have to buy 1 kg for 500 Baht.

Price announcement was 2500 Baht for 4 h, 3000 Baht for six hours, took 4 h with an option for prolongation to 6 h, when we wanted to extend, we were told, that now „every extra hour is 500 Baht“.

All in all ok for one time but nothing I would like to repeat.

Cold reception, and it's only apparent when you get there that you need to book a day in advance despite not saying so on the website. That said, the actual fishing was phenomenal. These fish are huge and you will likely not ever catch fish this big even as A pro angler in the UK/US. The guides are really friendly and really help you, even if you are a rookie. I took my wife and she loved it despite never fishing before as the guides were so accommodating.
Also, wear swimwear as you'll need to jump in the lake to get a pic with your catch. Every fish we caught (7 in total on a half day) was 30-55lb.
