What a fantastic place!
Booked a 14 night stay in one of the en-suite bungalows inc 9 days fishing.
Everything from the start was set up for the enjoyment of our holiday, free airport transfers, lovely clean accommodation and a warm welcome.
We discussed with Simon what we would like to do on our days away from the lake and settled on the private longboat trip to pig island, a tour of the Koh Samui ending up at the old fisherman’s village and best of all a day at the ethical elephant sanctuary.
The fishing was amazing and insane with 85 fish landed, 11 species, from a 220lb Aripiama to a 2oz tilapia,
All the guides were top but special thanks to Ong & Milo for their knowledge and friendship.
Special mention to all the staff in the topcats kitchen, the food was amazing, especially the thai specialties, the quality was a good as any we had during our stay.

Absolute gem of a fishing holiday and went beyond all expectations. Simon and Paul were exceptional hosts, and their staff could not do enough for you. The bungalow accommodation was on the button with full facilities, even the extra mile with complimentary drinks in the fridge, coffee and tea making facilities, full air con and large cooling fan. The fishing itself was beyond expectations. You still had to work for the fish, but the assistant guides were excellent and knowledgeable. I hit 109 fish in 7 days of fishing, including night time predator fishing. Got my PB of 70lb carp, 150 lb Arapaima, 120lb Mekong Catfish and a 90lb Red Tail Catfish. This place is awesome and will definitely return.

A massive thank you to the guides (especially our amazing guide Ong!) for making our 2 week stay at TopCats so fantastic. 10 days fishing and 2 day trips which were booked by owners upon request.
Ong made our experience overall. A knowledgeable guide, who was an absolute gentleman, and who couldn’t do enough for you. Superb company for 12 hours a day.
Food at resort was lovely as was service and staff.
Bungalows are river side and have the essentials.
Second visit and definitely not the last!

WOW! There are no words to express the amazing day of fishing I had at Too Cats! From the knowledge of the guide Tadpole, to the service from the other staff on sight. I caught 24 fish two over 100 pounds and only one below 20 pounds. If you want to fish for big fish and a huge variety, go to Top Cats! I caught carp, Mekong, Arpaima, and Asian Redtail Cats. I was not disappointed at all! Many thanks to the guide Tadpole!

Went to fish top cats with few pals of mine was a great experience some very good sized fish in there! We pulled out some Beauty’s I’ve fished all over Thailand and of the islands this is by far the best spot if your looking for a bit of everything especially some monsters, the staff are polite and always keeping you topped up with refreshments with out leaving your pegs, decent food and drinks menu, definitely recommend! Give it ago you won’t be disappointed

Top notch experience at TopCats. Nothing but good things to say. The morning was slow (someone beside us was catching though) and then the afternoon was on fire. In a full day session we caught many carp, a mekong catfish, a pacu as well as two redtail catfishes in the evening. One thing I will mention is the food is way overpriced and kind of meh but you pay to not leave the swim. Our guides were awesome and by the end we were rigging everything up ourselves. Definitely recommend coming here, we had an absolute blast. Thanks TopCats

I couldn't fault this place if I tried! Aside from the fishing, which is unbelievable, you are looked after by attentive and knowledgeable staff, fed excellent Thai and English food and the accommodation was clean and comfortable. Go as soon as you can, you won't regret it!

My wife found Topcats online whilst looking for fishing lakes in Koh Samui for me and my son. It was so easy to arrange and in only 6 hours we had the most fantastic fishing session we have ever had with so many amazing fish. Really great guides and Simon was extremely welcoming. I would suggest that Topcats gets some leaflets into the hotels, so people don't miss out on this incredible experience.

Booked in for a morning fishing. WOW what an amazing place I caught loads of fish up to 80 lb I had a young girl as my guide. She was great very helpful and genuinely wanted you to catch different fish. I had such a good time I went back again caught even bigger fish. I just need to work how I can return to do it again

Called up Simon to see if he could fit me in for a four hour session on short notice and within two days I was fishing. Originally booked a four hour session but it was that good I extended to half a day. I was targeting the Siamese carp and caught multiple including my personal best along with two red tail catfish. Great Lake with friendly staff. Can’t wait to get back there, can’t recommend enough.

Quality no words describe how it is here best days fishing ever, I got lots of fish and all fight so hard. They can bring food and drink to your swim too. I would highly recommend coming here definitely if in to your fishing.

Awesome fishing experience. My husband and I came here and did four hours and caught five extremely large carp in that time - up to 55 pounds that we reeled in! Doi was our guide and he was super helpful and made the experience fun - had us get in the water and had us hold (try to hold) the fish caught for photos. Really fun time highly recommend and definitely would go back.

Best place to fish in Thailand if you’re after something big and looking for flexing your muscles (& I ve been to many places Exotic fishing Phang-Nga (2 catfish in 12 hrs with 4 rods) Bungsamran, VIP Samut Prakan, pilot111, the ocean)
Simon has been the new owner for about 2 years and all the reviews within the past 2 years are 5 stars (because there is no 6 stars!)

Great place for fun fishing! You will have staff whit you all day that are super helpfull.
They have resturant so you can eat good lunch and have a pool you can cool down in is perfect. Lovely place and a super freindly owner.

Had a Great Time a Topcats fishing park. Great hospitality, great fishing and great fun. Stayed in the Bungalow on the lakeside which was very comfortable. We had some lovely meals which were all very sizeable.
The fishing, it lives up to anywhere on the planet and I have done a lot of fishing. 4 days fishing saw me land 67 fish, 9 species to 280lb.
If you are thinking about doing it, don't think, just do it.you will want to go back again and again.

TopCats fishing resort in Taling Ngam Koh Samui is amazing for the sport fisherman or just leisure fishing. With over 40 species to catch you certainly wont get bored here. All equipment and a guide included you are guaranteed a catch. The staff will go out of their way to help you catch offering tips and advice. The food and hospital are exceptional, there is no need to leave your peg, all food and drinks are brought to you, so you don't waste a minute of your fishing time. There are very comfy bungalows with all the mod cons for overnight stays. The owner Simon is a true gentleman with a great team of staff. Thank you to the guides Ben, Doy, Tadpole and the lovely ladies Joy, Rat and Boom for the amazing food and constant supply of drinks. If fishing is your game then TopCats is the place to be. You can choose from morning or afternoon fishing or spend a full day and the costs won't break the bank. I will definitely be back to fish here again.

Best place to fish in whole thailand a bit expensive but totaly price is right and worth, best place for experience or even for bigginers or for pros. TLDR if you looking for place for fishing you wont find anything better then this.
