Success Gym

Free weights are very complete with a variety of machines though lacking a lot in hamstring variety. Some equipments are always broken while others euch as their "new machines" seem to be misaligned making it feel very uneven.

Members not returning the weights back, especially 20kg or 25kg plates making it hard for others to unrack or use machines. Staff doesn't reinforce the rules and especially front desk with some staff acting very cocky when you approach them.

Many unprofessional PTs are allowed to coach there even though they are not official under success gym. With some of their official trainers running group classes spanning across half the benches during peak hours just doesn't seem to make sense. Have your clients rotate from station to station, you would understand if you are a trainer yourself.

Great place, there is everything you need in a gym. The price is just a bit expensive for a day entry.

Large space, fully equipped and great vibe. There’s enough redundancy in equipment that things flow even when very busy. Setup to accommodate all levels, so can’t imagine it would be intimidating for a novice or that very serious lifters would hit a limit. Friendly staff as well. My wife and I trained there daily for a couple weeks during the rainy season.

One of the best GYM on Samui. But too many people, bench with barbel is only one and always busy. And some rooms don't have air-conditioning

Airconditions don't work at all.
Change room (bathroom) is like sauna with 40 degrees and insane humidity.
Rude administrators.
They don't care about gym machines condition.
Better to look for another gym.

Rude, unprofessional staff. Lots of broken equipment, general vibe of the gym was poor and overcrowded. Unfortunate because we had heard lots of good things about the gym before coming, maybe our experience was unique, but after one session we won't be coming back and can't recommend.

The best gym on the island for sure! The trainers are amazing and friendly and very knowledgeable. The equipment is in great shape and there are always machines available. Love it here! Definitely recommend

Fantastic gym. Wide range of equipment and machines. Really clean and tidy, everyone had respect and tidied up.
Aircon and fans, nice and cool.
Good price compared to other gyms.
Definitely check out over the road for post workout meals.

Well, the gym is quite well equipped. Though some of the machines are I guess from China because of the angels and the sizes, they are bit uncomfortable.

But my biggest concern is >>the hygiene<<, they don’t give you a small towel like they normally do at another gyms.

Unless you have your own towel you use equipment after people who are sweating a bit”

Another disappointment was the bathroom!

It is not properly cleaned “absolutely disgusting”

Even the paper napkin to wipe your hands is a toilet paper ‍️

which is basically impossible to use / once you grab it with your with hands it will fall apart in thousand pieces?

Good gym, lots of equipment. Gets pretty busy around lunchtime so can be good to avoid that time unless you are happy with sweaty people getting close. Otherwise pretty good and not too expensive. They have monthly pass for 1800 thb/no joining fee.

Very big and well equipped gym with lots of training options and an AC. Definitely a good place for everybody who wants to train seriously.

BEST GYM ON SAMUI. Easily. Aircon, great and LOTS of machines and bench/squat racks. Also kettlebells and cardio area. Super affordable. Friendly staff. I wish I found this place a month ago. 10/10

Modern and well equipped gym with little crossfit and cardio area, staff is friendly, price is 1000Baht for 10times or 2500 per month which is okay but not supergood.

Great quality equipment, staff is very friendly and helpful.

EDIT: Taking away two stars because, due to COVID mass-hysteria, they would not allow tourists or vacationers to purchase a day pass, even though we all have our temperatures taken at the front door, all wear masks, all signed forms indicating we were symptom free when we flew into the island, and COVID has a 1/9999 chance of spreading via surface contact, according to science.

If they REALLY want to be safe they should just shut the gym down and stop worrying so much.

I felt pumped up simply checking it out. Modern, clean and a/c filled with 'beautiful people of Samui
