Rooms are great but too far away from the main actructions. Excess to decent eatery is also 5 minutes drive! Great healpful staffs. Recommended for those who wants quite time! Not recommended in monsoon time.

Great rooms. Nice pools.lady in kids club was super nice. Restaurant breakfast was good but was hit or miss on other meals.

Nestled in a lush green cove, Shasa is an amazing retreat for anyone seeking to enjoy a few days of calm, serene and poetic getaway from it all. With fantastic food at “ Beyond the Sea”, morning yoga lessons and a well equipped gym, it’s a complete vacation in itself. A 221 sq m apartment affords more space than one can manage, even with a family of 4, with spectacular views of the ocean from almost everywhere. The rooms and toilets are spotless and large. The open kitchen allows for for some in room preps. Additionally for the rambunctious kids, there’s an Energy sapping kids room, to keep them occupied. 3 pools and a pool side bar complete the experience.

The staff are extremely polite and helpful and will go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable. Given that Shasa is located away from the prime beach hotspots like Bhoput, Chaweng and Lamai, free shuttles are available twice daily to take you there. Shasa has an arrangement with some of the beach front properties at Chaweng and that allows for Shasa guests to use their beach facilities free of charge (with a 15% discount in food and beverage).

Overall, a memorable experiment and one definitely worth recommending.

The only disadvantage is the distance to the rest of the island.

We stayed in July 2016 and it was close to perfection if you are looking for peace and quiet plus super food. Rooms are great with large living area kitchen and sea views.
Pools terrace down to the sea with bar area.
Only disappointing part was the beach. There isn't one. Small sandy area and cloudy lagoon in front. Either side at a joining resorts are large sandy beaches so need to pop over the rocks however once you are out of the lagoon the sea is clear with good snorkeling.

Modern restaurant, outside great view over the swimming pools and the Thai gulf, delicious local dishes. Drinks are expensive.

Wonderful, friendly and beatiful. Very quiet, clean, peaceful. Gorgeous rooms, spacious and comfy. Staff is friendly and helpful. We stayed 6 nights and didn't want to leave. The restaurant is good but with western prices. Breakfast is awsome. There is a kitchen so you can cook but come prepared with groceries, especially if you have kids.

Some nice hideout in samui, away from all the actions. Great place to come with family as the rooms are rather large in size.

This is my fifth time to stay here.
Shasa makes me feel like home. Amenities are perfect. Room is very big!
Plus, you can have long stay here, since there are kitchen, washer, dryer, large fridge.
Plus, you can enjoy Chaweng beach at Malibu Resort. Love!

It was good, the prices are European, and the beach got washed away, but it is beautiful with a very nice layout and three pools. Rooms have a kitchen with full fridge, go buy food and beer at a local shop and you can save hundreds.
