ShaSa Resort & Residences, Koh Samui

Beautiful resort. This was my second visit. Stunning views. A bit secluded, so make sure you have a vehicle. About 15 minute drive to Lamai Beach. 10 minutes to our favorite restaurant in Samui. Had to knock a star off because the spa has been under renovation since my last visit 1 and a half years ago. Also the trash on the beach totally ruins it. They need to clean it up and it would be perfect!

I really liked my stay here. It is true that there is a distance to travel to get to Lamai or Cheweng. However, there is bike and car hire on Koh Samui.
My room was big and spacious. Cleaned very well each day. I had a kitchen living area, bedroom and bathroom.
The staff were helpful and friendly at the reception and in the dining area.
There were great views of the pools and the sea. Which were kept clean and tidy.
The breakfast was enough with a choice of eggs and bacon, fruits, cereals, breads coffee and juice.
You are able to order from the restaurant until 9.00pm in the evening.
I would certainly go here again.

Our family recently stayed at Shasa Resort & Residences Samui and it was a delight. The resort is set in a quiet and peaceful spot, away from the island's hustle and bustle. This provided the perfect serene backdrop for our family getaway.

We stayed in a spacious two-bedroom apartment, well-equipped with a full kitchen (even an oven!), and handy laundry facilities. It felt like a home away from home. The sea views from our apartment were simply breathtaking, something we looked forward to every morning.

The resort's breakfast was modest but satisfying, ensuring we started our days on a full stomach. And the two swimming pools were a big hit with the kids. All in all, Shasa Resort & Residences Samui offered a comfortable and relaxed family holiday experience.

* แนะนำ น่าจะมีบาร์เล็กๆ ริมชายหาดเพราะสถานที่โรงแรมเข้าออกค่อนข้างลึก ถ้ามีบาร์เล็กๆ จะดีมากครับ โดยรวมดีครับ

อาหารเช้าน้อยไปหน่อย น่าจะคนน้อยเลยทำไม่หลากหลาย

Lack of maintenance of basically everything. The beach is disgusting. The front desk lady can be quite rude. Breakfast variety is terribly limited. The pools are huge and nice.

The resort is visually impressive right on the coast. We stayed in the 2 room villa which was fantastic with large rooms and additional living room area. The hotel is in need of a re furb. Wooden walkways are showing disrepair. The gym in need of basic maintenance.
The biggest let down for this place is the food. Breakfast has limited choices. First meal the omelettes clearly undercooked. Second one was cold fried egg! When this was pointed out to waitress she smiled and left the plate on the table un eaten. Limited amenities in nearby surroundings so you are likely to eat dinner in the restaurant. Again poor food overpriced. The wine though was good but it will set you back £50 a bottle.

Luxury at its finest. So clean, polished and beautiful with friendly staff and excellent attentive service. Accommodating to our needs for emergency medical care as well. It’s not walkable to anything so prepare your self with a grocery store visit prior to arrival. But there is a restaurant as well with continental breakfast which was delicious.

The room is big for family. Breakfast, pool and kids room is not great. Breakfast is like 3.5 star hotel. Kids room is old and AC is not cool at all. Overall not really worth the money.

ห้องพักสะอาดและกว้างมากกกกก มีทุกอยัางครบครัน โต๊ะกินข้าวกว้างนั่งได้หลายคน โซนครัวมีอุปกรณ์พร้อม จานชามช้อนส้อม มีดขอจากแม่บ้านได้ ตู้เย็นใหญ่ มีน้ำยาล้างจานให้ มีเครื่องซักและอบผ้า ระเบียงลมโกรกฝนไม่สาด ห้องอาบน้ำใหญ่ โดยเฉพาะอ่างแช่ตัว แช่ได้ 4-5 คนสบายๆ มีสระว่ายน้ำ 2 สระ ติดหาดเลงไปเดินเล่นได้ แต่ถ้าจะเล่นน้ำให้เดินไปทางขวาเรื่อยๆจะมีหลดทรายนุ่มๆ หาดที่ติดโรงแรมไม่ค่อยแนะให้เลันเพราะหินเยอะ ทางเข้าโรงแรมลึกหน่อยไฟอาจจะเปิดเป็นจุดๆ โดยรวมที่พักดีมาก

One of the best hotels in Koh Samui with huge rooms. Best part about the room was the view from the living room and the bedroom.
Breakfast was very average. Not many options.
Housekeeping service was excellent although I felt that the reception staff was a bit strict about everything.
Overall, had a great stay.

Fantastic service, view, room, and pools. Almost perfect except that breakfast is lacking variety as we stayed for 10 days. For a family holiday, Shasa is wonderful! You won't regret it.

Wow, the size of room and all the facilities are stunning. Very peaceful location and epic restaurant.

Really plush high end place. Amazing view overlooking the gulf of Thailand. You will need to rent a car or scooter to get from the hotel to the main road, the hotel is far into the interior and away from the main roads, there are no stores nearby, only a few restaurants and they are not walking distance.i rented a car for two days for 3000 baht. It was the only way to get around but you won't regret it. Driving around the island yourself is gratifying. Paying for a taxi is an everyday option otherwise and adds up in the long run. There is a 12pm and 4pm shuttle that takes you out to the sister resort Malibu on chewing beach. Where we spent most of our time. Our beach in the south part of the island had a high tide making it non usuable.

Beautiful resort on quiet southern end of Koh Samui. The breakfasts are great with plenty of local fruits. Rooms overlooking the ocean are incredibly dreamy. Nothing better than waking up to a beautiful ocean view!

The hotel is quite far far away from anywhere. Literally nowhere is reachable by walk. Only two shuttle buses to two beaches a day and only one shuttle back to the hotel a day. No supermarkets, no grocery store, and no convenient stores nearby or in the resort. Only one restaurant. No sand beach near the hotel and the thin rocky beach is quite dirty with a lot of trash on it and no one is cleaning it. Impossible to swim in the sea.
