Good company that offers transportation from Koh Samui to Krabi and the other islands for cheaper fares than the main competitor and also the ferry is offering inside seating without extra charges. They were a bit unorganized about our transfer to the however they managed to sort it out after a while.

The worst traveling company I've ever seen. Especially this specific pier and the customer service in here (which is some sort of joke!). After checking the schedule of the boats (few days before the travel), we arrived to the pier one hour before the departure to buy the tickets. There was no one in the ticket office. After 30 minutes, a ticket seller lady came and she said that the boats are not operating today, because there is not enough people and it's not enough profitable for them! Can you believe this!? After asking why it's not mentioned anywhere, she just laughed at our face saying that we should came to here and "ask before going here"! She said that the "official schedule" (which is on their website and outside the office) is not actual anymore. When we tried to get more information she just started to laugh at us with someone else inside the ticket office and closed the ticket window just in the front of our faces. The taxi drivers waiting next to the pier were not any better and tried to rip us off on our way back to the hostel - To came to the pier with normal taxi we paid 60B/person, on the way back with the "pier" taxi driver wanted 800B/person! Please, if you don't want to ruin your holidays - avoid this place/company at any cost, this is one big scam. I am just proud that we didn't buy the tickets through their website before.

Leaves on time, but the duration listed at the ticket office is incorrect.

It states 30 minutes from Thong Sala to Big Buddha Pier, but it takes the Seatran Discovery more than 1 hour.

It could be important if you're flying from Samui, so don't trust their arrival times.

Seatrans are good ways to get to and from the islands here in Thailand, they're one of the slower options but are also cheaper and will get you where you wanna go

Same price as Lomprayah but dubble the travel time. Accidentally booked with them instead of L. Also arrived one hour later than scheduled.

The ferry service gets you from A to B however, like all of the services and goods on Koh Samui, it is over priced. There are also not enough running times or flexibility with the service, and considering the prices you would think they would be able to offer more than 2 transfers a day.

Overall good service other than we booked the ticket with pickup from the hotel (they forgot to pick us up, we had to ring up and then the driver was extremely odd, felt uneasy) but ferry service itself was fine, small shop on boat for drinks/ snacks but not sure on prices or choice as disnt use it.

We had to wait extra 30 minutes, they said the boat will start moving at 1PM but we only moved after 30 mins.the boat was so crowded and there no sufficient chairs for everyone, we had to sit on tables for half an hour till some passenger stopped in koh phangan and we continue our way to koh tao.people who ride with us from koh phangan to koh tao they didn't had chairs to sit, so they sit on tables, floors and some were just standing.

Timetables are not important for Seatran Discovery. The boat departed about 30 minutes before the scheduled time.

Delayed both way to Koh Tao. I should have chosen the same company I always use which is Lompraya but I got to this company because of Air Asia deal.

Billiger als Lompraya, dafür auch etwas langsamer, man braucht überall hin ca. 60 min länger als mit Lomprayas High speed Fähren. Aber wer es im Urlaub nicht so eilig hat und die Schiffahrt auch genießen will - was bei Lompraya kaum möglich ist, der ist hier richtig.
