So glad that Seatran now operate to Koh Phangan from Donsak. Almost the same price as Raja but actually safe, clean and faster. Always been a smooth journey, good little shop on board, outside and inside air con seating. Staff are helpful, boats are in good shape. The departure from Donsak has food, toilets and very clean. Well organised and friendly. Recommend!

I catch a ferry boat from Samui to Phangan. In boat, there are many life jacket but life jacket is well pack plastic bag in steel cabinet. No explanation from staff about life jacket. I need to ask where are they. Dont want to imagin in case of accident.

Company stole money from our bags! And now tries to say it's not them

We took a bus from Krabi to donsak Pier and then a ferry to koh Samui, while we had to go to koh Phangan. On the bus the driver made a stop to smoke and check some things, the bus stood still for around 20 minutes and when we were on the ferry we noticed money was missing from our bigger backpacks.

Driver also smokes, drinks and uses his phone while driving.

It is a stable boat I felt comfortable and I did not feel sea sickness. I usually get sick and vomit so fast. This boat was simply amazing

Half of the passengers vomited in the way from Koh Tao to Koh Samui. Small boat at top speed jumping over the sea.

Terrible experience. The first ferry from Koh Samui to Koh Phangan was OK. The second from Koh Phanang to Koh Tao was a hell on earth experience. The sea was brave which didnt help. The boat goes really fast and because of the waves it was really bumpy (roller coster type of bumpy). I never get sea sick, but had to make extra efforts to not throw up. So dont eat anything before and hope for the best. Good luck!

Traveling from Koh Samui to NST Airport was one hell of a ride.

Starting at Koh Samui, my girlfriend and I received tickets for departure at 9AM. The weather was great and we thought that the chances were good for the ferry to be on time. None the less, the ferry was 20 minutes late.
This apparently stressed the crew, making them grab our luggage and then yelling at us to take it ourselves. Weird procedure.

But hey, we are on the ferry what could go wrong now?

Trying to dock at Don Sak isn't easy apparently, as we waited for 25 minutes just outside the Pier, and we were now 45 minutes late.

At the Pier of Don Sak, we were kindly shown which vehicle we should enter to go to NST Airport. So we enter the minivan which from the inside looks like an old brothel combined with a disco.

The driver now has to hurry a lot, so he throws our luggage in the minivan, as if it had been garbage noone cared for.

We quickly began fearing for our life, as the side door suddenly came open as we began to drive. The driver didn't care one bit, and we tried to shut it as tight as possible.

In a persuit of catching lost time, the driver pushed the poor brothel/disco to go as fast as it could, meaning 130km/h in an old rust bucket. This was not only on highways but everywhere. I'm almost sure we drove on 3 wheels for most of the bends.

At this point my girlfriend and I had said our goodbyes and were sure we were going to die in the Thai-mans-death-machine.

If he weren't able to go 130km/h due to traffic, he made sure to pass that traffic, even if it meant overtaking on blind corners or driving in the middle of the road constantly.

He was even able to do this while texting and being on his phone all the time.

Even though we had been sure to die, we arrived at NST Airport 12: 33, only 3 minutes past their estimate.

Never again Seatran will we discover anything with you.

THIEFES! Avoid them like the pest.they look for anything valuable tgey can find anything.beware what you put in your bags

They steal stuff out of your bag stole 8packs of cigarettes.luckily didn't have anything valuable.

Do not get them to book a taxi service for you. It is chaos and it is likely you will be put on the wrong Mini bus. Heading off in the wrong direction as your hotel.

Koh Samui to Koh Lanta.
Boat was old and had only a small area with a/c on the upper deck. Whole lower deck was basically a sauna. 3/5
Bus to Krabi old but ok 4/5
Minivan to Koh Lanta was slow, almost no a/c (driver kept turning down despite protest of passengers). At the end we had to force him to bring us to the pier since they wanted to sell us additional transportation to the hotel. 1/5

Worst customer service of all time. They lie through their teeth at the airport about the passes they sell to you, telling you they include the transportation to and from the ferry to the airports. They throw one and other under the bus and just keep passing the bUck. Impossible to get anyone who speaks or understands English, and then they just look at you in disgust when you try to explain that their employees mislead you into what you were buying or the services included. I Will take a direct flight to the island next time instead of dealing with such incompetence and mistreatment.

Basic ferry transfer service, expensive
The company is offering the basic ferry transfer service between the island.
Positive to mention are the new ferry boats the company is using with a higher safety standard than other companies in the area.
Considering the higher price level of the company

In addition the company is offering a hotel pickup on the islands, prices depends on the area of the pickup.

Unfortunately to mention that in or case the ferry left 30 minutes behind schedule which messed up our pickup appointments.

By far worst from lomprayah company, i have about 3 hours delay from koh phangan to phuket town, the scedule said that at 16.00 will be there and finally we get off phuket at 18.30 and this isnt due to the traffic there were no traffic except a little bit in the phuket. Also the company agent inside bus charge us with 250 baht for transport from phuket town to patong and when i take the van driver asked me i i already pay for the transport and if not that cost is 200 baht per person. Also during van transportation they change us 3 times the van by getting on and off. Just a mess.

Great service on getting tickets. Snack bar person in the ferry was sleeping on the chair most of the time. People keep coming to buy snacks, she was asleep.

Usually delayed, with sometimes more than half an hour.
Which can be very annoying.

But it's a cheaper ride than the overpriced (and in high season overloaded) Lompraya and more comfortable in case of bad weather.

The ride from Samui to Phangan is about 30 minutes. One if the quickest ways to travel between the islands.
