Phangan Arena

I think this might have been the worst hostel I have stayed at in my travels of Asia. We went there with the full moon so the according to Hostelworld the stay was a minimum of 4 night. The rooms were 20 quid, and of the 3 airco's in the room none worked. The toilets were revolting and when I went to brush my teeth in the morning there was a puddle of puke in the sink.

The food was nice but small portions and takes about 45 minutes to prepare. This is the time it takes to go to the restaurant next to it, eat, and return.

Just go here for the pre party and stay at another place, you, your wallet and your ears will be happier for it, cheers:)

Loved the vibe of this hostel and the amenities. Would have loved if got the actual room we booked because we ended up being in three different rooms when we had booked a private shared room. Nonetheless, we were there for the Full moon party and the hostel had people from all over the world.they had great offers and games to engage in! A must have experience!

Phangan Arena Hostel is the best hostel on Koh Phangan for everybody who is looking for:

-awesome atmosphere
-helpful and friendly staff (They even speak good English:)
-well organised clean rooms with aircon
-comfortable bed including pillow and blanket and lockers for your valuable belongings
-reasonable booking prices
-good toilets and showers
-crazy party fun around swimming pool
-tasty food and drinks with promotions, happy hours,
-reccommendations for trips, parties and fun around the island
-possibility to rent a good motorbike,

All and more for a very good price.

It is my second year coming back here and I can only highly reccommend it, I live it here!

Clean rooms and toilets but too much noisy for me because of the music and the hostels' bar in the night. But it was nice and good position when rent a motobike for sure it's cheap about 4-5euro per day. Staff very friendly.

Nice hostel, clean and great atmosphere! It has a gym a pool and a bar. Volleyball and soccer place is also available. Meeting people here is easy since there are many chilling areas. Also close to supermarkets 7 11 etc.

Amazing hostel! Super friendly staff. It has an amazing chill area with a pool that at night turns into and incredible party! Totally recommend it!

Great hostel, lovely staff - clean and comfortable rooms. Serious facilities- astro turf soccer pitch, volleyball area, gym&pool. Great vibe, perfect to meet people and join in on some of the partying. Will return

Very friendly staff, nice location and the rooms are okay. It was very helpful that I was allowed to use the shower at the evening after my booking!
Table-tennis, Playstation room, soccer field, pool, chill out area = everything you need!
Only the music could be improved, it was mainly gangster hip hop.

4th time here within 6 years. Top hostel with football courts, Pool, gym and super friendly Staff and owners.central location with all easy transfer options for every Party and leisure places.
Come as a guest and leave as a friend.

Phangan arena is for sure the best hostel which i ever visited. If u r looking for quiet and isolation its not the best option even if u can find it here also if u will ask for room which is further from bar, then u will be also closer to nature. But if u r looking for action, parties, people, amazing food, excelent drinks and really unique atmosphere then this is the best option no matter what. Maybe because its vibe or maybe because its open air beautiful architecture and design people here are like community. Everyone including staff is more talkative and friendly than everywhere else. Thats why u can enjoy it there so much parties even with pool and a lot of games. For its super cheap price it was my best option on my trip over thailand. U will want to stay here longer.

Had the best time in Phangan Arena! You have access to so much so you will never be bored.from the pool to all the sport pitches! Super easy place to meet people as there is a lot of communal areas and activities going on. Super clean and the location is perfect too, will definitely be back!

The facilities are impressive (swimming pool, football field) however you have to pay to play pool and get fined if you being your own drinks in so even feel pressured not to bring your water in.the place was quite dirty and despite being a party hostel people weren't very approachable or friendly.some of the staff too came across rude and the music is very loud til very late so sleeping was very difficult.we booked for several nights and only stayed for the 1 because we weren't enjoying our stay so we moved to somewhere up the road

Beer pong tournament was amazing with legitimate rules. Unfortunately came short but still did it for Kobe!

A localização é excelente - há dois minutos da praia, com supermercados, restaurantes, e próxima a Sunset Walk, uma rua com vista pra praia e com bares aglomerados.
A propriedade em si está bem arrumada e conservada, com muita vegetação aos arredores é um vista para as montanhas ao fundo.
A equipa é incrivelmente simpática. O bar tem varias opções no cardápio e a comida é muito gostosa. A noite rola varios jogos na arena, onde é possivel conhecer varias pessoas bonitas e interagir com os hospedes.

Big party hostel. Recommend if you're single. Maybe not a couple scene unless you love partying together. Try not to stay in the private room next to the showers, smelt mouldy because of the moisture on the wall

This hostel was perfect for my stay in Koh Phangan! Very good facilities, with the pool and gym. The rooms are super clean and the atmosphere is just incredible! I met lots of people and the parties were memorable

Rooms were not very clean, there were centipedes everywhere. Staff were very kind and fun though. Would recommend mad monkey instead!

Best party hostel ever, very active and full with fun young travelers.
