OCEAN SOUND DIVE + YOGA

They're all amazing! Suzanna was our instructor, and she's so bubbly and fun. Will, the owner, made a point to learn our names and talk to us. My boyfriend got so badly sunburnt before we started our class and couldn't finish the last day. They were kind enough to let us make it up once he healed. So glad we found this place and didn't go with one of the other million diving schools.

I have been diving for over 10 years now all over the world with many different dive shops and I can say for sure Ocean Sound is the best place to dive with! I am taking my Girl Friend back next year so she can learn to dive with the best shop around!

Ocean Sound has an incredibly friendly, hard working staff who truly love and succeed at their jobs. I felt like I was a part of their family while getting my Open Water and Advanced PPI certificates in Ko Tao.

Cote, my instructor, made me feel comfortable and safe in the water. He was personable, caring, and an all around good guy. To be fair, everyone who works at Ocean Sound are amazing! I wish I could dive with them all of the time.

Review + Helpful Things To Know //
There’s a reason this is the best place to practice yoga in Thailand! The teachers are incredibly knowledgeable. You can be at a very low level or a very high level and the classes will adapt to you. If inversions and other crazy poses are your thing, you won’t be left disappointed.

Things to know:
1. You’ll want to take advantage of their unlimited week pass for 1000 baht so book some extra time on Koh Tao. There are many adventures awaiting you around the island to explore between classes.

2. The mats the provide are Manduka - they are really good quality and are anti-slip. This is particularly important because you’ll be sweating for sure in their vinyasa class.

3. After their morning class, there is a local who comes by with the best, fresh coconut ice cream. This was something we really looked forward to because it was, in my opinion, the best and cheapest vegan treat on the island! You can get a cone of coconut ice cream for 20 baht or a cup for 30.4. The staff are really knowledgeable about the island. We asked them for restaurant recommendations and they told us about some incredible hidden gems that we wouldn’t have found on our own.

5. The night class happens during the sunset so the lighting is the studio is extra beautiful. The big windows give you the experience of the soft sunset and as the sun fades away, twinkle lights from outside light up the sky. Very picturesque!

Overall, Koh Tao is an island you’ll wish you had more time on and after a few classes here you’ll leave with a new body. My ideal vacation is to come home stronger and more fit than I left. I got everything I wanted and more.

Yoga classes are super nice, ran by great teachers in a super nice yoga hall. Price is 300 baht per drop-in class, or 2500 baht for a 10-class pass, or 3000 baht for unlimited monthly pass. The website is always up-to-date with schedule, prices, and much more. Enjoy!

What a great time i had at ocean sound dive yoga! Preparing my trip to koh tao the team answered my emails really fast. Once there we received a really warm welcome and everythibg was ready for us to start our PADI course. Oyr instructor was the cutest and nicest person and she totally knew how to make us feel safe and have fun at the same time. I highly recommend this school for all diving experiences especially if, like me, you never dived before.

I highly recommend this dive centre. I did my open water course with them and couldn't have been happier with my decision. My instructor Alex was excellent, he was safe - but relaxed - friendly, and very knowledgeable. The rest of the staff were very friendly also. They seemed to remember everyone's names which I thought was a nice touch.

Awesome staff, just very nice human beings that care more about their customers than making good business (though the first naturally includes the latter)! Excellent dive instructors and excellent yoga - it just goes so well together. Accommodation at Tropicana was also great!
