OCEAN SOUND DIVE + YOGA

We did the open water course with ocean sound dive + yoga and were 100% satisfied and always felt safe. Ruta was incredibly patient and used her years of experience to train us in the best possible way! The other people on site were all extremely friendly - I can only recommend the diving school!

I took my open water diving in Sept 2023 with Ruta and it was amazing! I loved the atmosphere at ocean sound and thought the program was set up great. Lots of hands on practice combined with lots of knowledge. If you are wondering where to take your diving, here is place!

Ok you can stop “shopping around” for dive schools and just book with Ocean Sound immediately with full confidence. I I’m one of those people that loves researching and compare everything - and I have to say the other past reviews are not fake 5 stars! I booked our Padi course 6 months in advance and because they dive every day, I knew that if flights / ferry was impacted or we got sick on our travels, we wouldn’t lose opportunity as we can simply start our course later.
We were lucky to have Rūta as our instructor and her enthusiasm is infectious. I was nervous at first but she held my hand (literally and figuratively) and at NO POINT I ever felt unsafe. She was really patient with all four of us and no point rushed us or made us uncomfortable while we practiced a particular skill or while we equalised pressure etc. I gained more and more confidence with each dive and signed up for the Advancec course immediately.
Everyone in the team is super friendly- right down to the local driver! My only warning is that You WILL be hooked! I’m already booking diving trips in my home country (even though we have cold water!)

Brilliant experience doing the Open Water course! Every member of staff was very helpful. Our instructor, Patrick, was fantastic. He took everything at a pace suitable for our group, and made us feel very safe and supported. Ocean Sound gave us great recommendations for the island, and lent us old equipment to snorkel with the day after our course. Absolutely nothing to fault. Would love to come back for the Advanced Open Water course one day!

My son and I did the advance PADI certification at ocean sound this past month in Koh Tao, we had a great experience since the moment we got to the shop, everyone very friendly, professional and helpful our instructor Lemi was very professional, educational and always by our side making sure everything was on point, I will recommend Ocean sound dive shop 100 % and will come back to continue my certifications, Thanks.

We had the most incredible time learning to dive with Ocean Sound. It's one of the best things we have ever done! We were so happy with our instructor Ruta too, she was so friendly and made everything seem so simple, so it was a great environment to learn (especially when we were anxious never before divers).

All of the other instructors we met in the office were super chatty friendly and bubbly too

I had an awesome experience with Ocean Sound! I loved it so much that, after getting the open water certification, I decided to join also the advanced course. Selene (Sel), my instructor, is absolutely amazing; above & beyond expectations: professional, clear, encouraging, caring and funny and she is a marine biologist too. I had a great time with Les too during my advanced course, he is absolutely amazing. Had so much fun! Everything was perfect and the team here is the big plus. I cannot imagine a better place for starting my diving experience!

Big YES! We did our Open Water Course with them (diving first time ever in our lives) and that was best decision we could do. The team is knowledgeable and speaks English perfectly (some of them are native speakers). Our instructor (Selene) is experienced teacher and easygoing person. She had a lot of patience and explained us everything clearly. Learning theory was fun and we passed that part effortlessly. We felt safe all the time which is important in such sport. After OWD we did Night Dive with them which was a great adventure! Thank you guys and hope to see you again!

I have been communicating with Ocean Sound Diving for over a year.
I had a bunch of questions about their programs and their email responses were always quick and explanatory.
They also monitor WhatsApp for more “ live” communication.
They were patient with me when responding to my questions- I am sure the same stupid questions that every tourist asks!
When we finally booked and got here and did the open water course I could not have been more impressed!
They were extremely well organized and efficient. We were never kept waiting and everything was run on time.
Our instructor Sam was “Samazing! ” and we were lucky to have her.
She identified key issues, made the course fun and didn’t let us off the hook.
The course is a “ real” course and goes through the correct PADI curriculum. I did not feel we were getting a “ short version” or a modified version”.
I highly recommend this dive company. I felt safe and it catered to our Western need to have things run smoothly and efficiently and be organized.
We are continuing with this company to get our Advanced certification and it’s real value for money.
