23Great experience. Like explained in colleges pages, this is not a monkey show or circus. You get to see how monkeys are actually trained to harvest coconuts. Super nice staff and delicious ice cream!
We had a lovely stay at the college with two very special women. We found out about it in the morning, called Sumjai and she very spontaneously made it possible to visit this magical place. We felt the love and passion she has for animals, nature and other people as she took so much time to explain us how their monkeys are respectfully and peacefully trained. We got involved with some "monkey tasks", tested her homemade coco icecream, drank and ate fresh coconuts. This was one very special day for us. The pricing is more than fair.we're sure to come back.
This was the highlight of our trip to Thailand so far! We had an afternoon free and were recommended to go here. The communication was so fast and clear and our host could speak very good english. She arranged for us to come with just a couple hours notice which was amazing. The way she trains the monkeys is in a way without force and with a lot of patience, time and care which we appreciated to see. She cared for each monkey and it was clear to see they trusted her. Such a beautiful little gem of a place that we would 100% recommend to go!
