Awful service, they cramp way too many people inside their boats which lead to, obviously, no seats for everyone.
Also they're absolutely insane - sailing full speed in a stormy sea, making the boat way too jumpy and unstable and half our boat puked the entire ride. Wish there were better ways of travelling between the islands.

Everything is fine, but some of the girls at the box office are not particularly friendly. (
Probably tired of endless tourists.)

Catastrophic service and boarding system. What is the point of buying our tickets in advance if you force everyone to line up anyways, regardless if people have tickets already or not. Use your brain please

Ferry Koh Phangan - Koh tao: departure half an hour late, that's okay, comfortable ship. Return from Koh Tao, two hours late, in which I could have stayed on the beach, little communication at the port.

Worst service ever. You buy tickets for a certain time but if you don’t fit all in one boat you’re gonna need to wait a second one for an hour, in line, in the sun. They say they are speed boat but they’re everything but fast. And they don’t give you any notice that something like this can happen, so you can plan consequently. Don’t choose them if you don’t want to lose your time during your holidays.

Took the boat to koh phangan, had more than 1.5hours delay, communication was minimal. However, once on the boat it went fast. Tip: book the taxi service they are offering on the boat. Same price as regular taxis on koh phangan and no waiting time at the pier. Taxi service was efficient.

The tickets for the day we got back were sold out. Without this ticket we had quite a problem. We were told to come to the locket that morning. If there were places left, we could still go.

This we did, and although it is quite exciting these people helped us a lot by still letting us in. The trip was well taken care of, and great care is taken that you go where you need to go.

Worst experience ever.no one is professional in this company from top to bottom. The staff is unfriendly and rude. Delays in Koh Phangan and more delayed in Koh Tao. Very bad experience. I wouldnt recommend them.

Lomprayah is an absolute mess going into and out of Koh Tao. They fail on logistics, which is solvable but entirely mismanaged. They've overlapped boat arrivals/departures which combined with a narrow pier, ridiculously inefficient luggage handling process, lacking communications and the additional choke point of a 20 Baht fee collection at the pier can make for a high pressure and dangerous crowd situation, as two boats full of people carrying and dragging bags are squeezed and stuck on a hot pier after being stuck on a boat for 2 hours. It's unnecessarily complicated and a mess they've created themselves that makes arrival and departing Koh Tao a nightmare. We would have paid triple to avoid such a terrible experience. The on-boat experience is fine and one can't fault them for rough seas, but they are a showcase of failure when it comes to managing the logistics of on-boarding and off-boarding multiple vessels.

Easy, fast, safe with good organisation!
Just think to come before the last moment. You have to take your boarding ticket before to board. Sometimes they can be late (same than train, plane). Big boat but sometime it's very full. You can sit outside or inside with airco.

Kleiner Hafen von Koh Tao, sehr gut organisiert. Hier beginnt auf gleich die Flaniermeile mit guten Restaurants, Bars usw.

I take these ferries pretty frequently, and not a single time they depart according to the time table.
Prices got raised, quality of service keeps dropping instead.
Their only luck is that there's no competition available.

We took a ferry today from Koh samui to Koh Tao who supposed to depart at 11: 30. A taxi driver arrived to our hotel at 10: 30 than we reached the pier at 11: 15. We waited more than hour and half until we get on the ferry, and arrived to destination around 15: 30 instead of 13: 00. The travel took almost double than expected originally supposed to take 2.5 hours actually took almost 5 hours. It is the most awful day of our trip thanks to you.

It's okay for the price, but could be better if staffs were more informative and more organized.

Terrible. Organization is a disaster, waiting hours for a late ferry, no info, no order, people/queue management horrendous. Would gladly avoid Lomprayah if an alternative existed.
