Well organized besides the tourist herds behave like on a feeding frenzy about seats. Everyone wants to be first, pushing elbowing, taking luggage inside.humanity on it's best behavior

Lots of people in the boat. Always delays. Got it 3 times and all of them had delays. One of them they were saying 30 mins delay but ended up being one hour day.
Might be better to go with the slower boat service. They might be on time and thus quicker yo reach destination at the end of the day.

One of the worst experiences when traveling in Thailand. The staff lie, inventing reasons for canceling the trip from a different port than we bought the tickets (on the website) and the necessary one-hour transport to the new departure point. Everything hides under "bad weather". Although there is none and there never was. First they claimed that a speedboat would go, then a catamaran, and finally a speedboat. It was a catamaran ride. He was already waiting at the port, but the employee claimed the exact opposite. That another ship was coming, she didn't. We waited an hour and a half for other passengers, the ship was overcrowded. The port that should have been closed according to the workers in Surat Thani, Pralarn on Koh Samui, was operating normally. Lie again. We preferred to fly back with Bangkok airways from Koh Samui on a direct flight to Bangkok (they also fly to Chiang Mai and Phuket). Time and nerves saved. I do not recommend using their services.

Why doesn't your driver on Lompray drop us off at the train station. It's pouring rain and he drives past the station dropping us off at a restaurang. Does he have a commission there?

They change the pier without any notice, and made me spent 700 baht on taxi (because they have no shuttle) to go to Nathon Pier, and when i arrive to this pier they decide to change to the other pier, making me take a bus, to arrive late for the boat and having to change my trip for two hours later. They say the boat dont go from this pier because of big wave, and they say is fault of the agency i booked, and they gave me no refund for the money i lost

The worst thing of all this, is that the ferry was over booked, so i have to travel stand up on the sun, even though i got a surgery a week ago and i told the staff. Also the smell of durian all over the boat was disgusting. Its a pitty i have to travel once a week to samui w, qnd i have to continue traveling with this company, i hope they are more serious from now on

I would give 0 stars. The toilets are broken and dirty, there is no soap and paper towels. They even charge 5 baht for the toilet, which is cheeky. The waiting room is in poor condition. There are only broken plastic chairs. We wanted to go to Surat Thani City. By the word city we mean downtown (near the hotels) but that's not the case. You have to go to Don Sak Pier by ship. After that there is a bus to Tapee Pier and if you want to go further you have to pay another 50 baht and even then you are still not in the city. That's cheating. The best seller says Surat Thani City, but our ticket says Tapee Pier. It is of course no longer possible to return or change the ticket.

A disaster. To begin with, the office is no longer where the rest is, it is about a 5-minute walk away and it is not well explained, you simply find the central office closed. The workers are rude and do not stop yelling, and they put in so many people that it is even difficult to find a seat. To continue, they treat the suitcases fatally, both to load them and to take them out, and they carry them so piled up that if they put it down, it breaks for sure. In addition, the bus (at least the one from the airport) DIVERTS FOR MORE THAN HALF AN HOUR to take you to buy in a store because they take commission. That is to say, instead of taking 1 hour and 18 minutes as it says, it takes more than 2 hours, and that with hardly any traffic. THEY HAVE NO CONSIDERATION, KNOWING THAT YOU ARE GOING TO THE AIRPORT. I understand that he stops on a journey of more than 2 or 3 hours, but on one of just over 1 hour to sell you things? UNACCEPTABLE

Unacceptable! The ferry was scheduled for 12: 15 p.m. We arrived as requested 30 minutes before departure, we only left 2 hours later they changed port then changed boat then finally the boat was late then we had to take another one, it was unacceptable. In addition, when you take the ferry to spend just one night in Koh Tao and it is late, you only spend a few hours on Koh Tao because the return one is no later than 3 p.m. I asked the company to postpone the return date or to cancel and of course without much surprise it was a refusal and on top of that as soon as we showed our dissatisfaction they became much less friendly.

If I could give zero stars I would. Utter chaos. The lack of clarity and communication is astounding. Granted there must have been extenuating circumstances, but who knows. We went to one service window, and were then directed to a second window to receive the tickets we had already paid for. That window then told us to come back in 50 minutes. We came back and the attendant closed the window telling people to come back in 10 minutes. 10 minutes later we knocked on that window only to be directed to a large line at a third window. We arrived nearly 2 hours early to check in for our ferry boat and were misdirected or ignored each time. I’ve never seen so many office workers doing absolutely nothing. Use this service if you must but just know that communication, punctually, and standard professionalism are lacking. We were scheduled to go on the 3: 30 p.m ferry, that was not the case. As of 4: 30 the boat was not even at the peer with no announcement given by the staff regarding the delay. Finally, after many individuals approaching the staff and suggesting they make an announcement, the staff announced that the boat will arrive at 5: 30 and board at 5: 40. A boat did come at 5: 30, and the staff had all persons waiting for Ko Tao walk down to the pier, just so happened that they were only allowing people whose 12: 30 ferry boat hadn’t made it yet to board. All 3: 30 people were directed eventually, by word of mouth among the passengers to sit on a curb. Then some of the staff directed folks to another pier, however directions were inconsistent and unclear. Interestingly, the staff seemed to think it was almost amusing.

Horrible experience. Overcrowded, NO AC! No space to get outside.
Sitting almost 30min until the boar finally left the port.
Wont ever go again, not worth the journey.

Booked transfer from Koh Samui to Bangkok (hotel pickup 6: 30, arrival in Bangkok 20: 30) for 1850 baht per person. Everything was nicely organised and travel times were correct. However, the ferry ride took 4 hours (!) and it was absolutely awful. The ferry was packed and people around us were crying, vomiting and we think some people even passed out… It was the worst we have ever experienced, but the staff was so nice to everyone, handing out bags for vomiting, tissues etc.

Easier way of transport if you go around heavy. Never had problems bringing my Rebreather and other diving stuff from island to island.

Our boat ride was delayed 1hr, and the bus ride following the ferry was incredibly small and uncomfortable with less leg room than an airline economy seat! Then finally upon arrival they then suddenly hassle you to use their shuttle service to get to your final destination.
And given that their delays are Impossible to prepare for, setting up a ride in advance is nearly impossible. Would recommend any other company!

Do not use this company, they will steal from your luggage. My husband and I booked the ferry from Koh Samui, which included bus transfer to Surat Thani airport. When we got off the ferry to get on the bus, we gave our suitcases to the man collecting luggage. We said that we wanted to hold on to our backpacks, but he told us there was no room on the bus (there was) and that we must put them with the luggage. The woman taking tickets to board the bus was telling us to hurry and that the bus would leave without us, so we unfortunately handed over our backpacks. The crew that loads the bags then stayed in the luggage hold for the entire trip. Luckily we had just counted our cash, so we knew exactly how much we had. When we arrived at the airport and were given our bags back we immediately counted the money and realized $400 USD was missing. The guys who stay in the luggage hold clearly go through the bags, which is why they were so insistent that we hand over our backpacks. My husband confronted the bus driver who asked him to get back on the bus to discuss the situation (we now realize he didn't want us making a scene in front of other passengers so that they too would check their bags). My husband told him $400 USD was missing and the bus driver gave us 9000 THB (turns out this was only $285) no questions asked and then asked us not to tell anyone what happened. He clearly knew that the money had been stolen and wanted to shut us up. I'm sure 9000 THB was nothing compared to what they actually got away with stealing. We were so upset and in a rush to catch our flight that we just took the money and got the hell out of there. Once we were inside the airport we went to a money exchange because we were leaving Thailand and had no use for THB, which is when we realized they shorted us $115, plus we had to pay the exchange fee. We went to the Lomprayah counter in the airport, but of course it was closed. We decided to go back outside and confront the bus driver, but they were gone. We have tried contacting them, but no one will respond to us.

I know everyone is saying "don't hand over your valuables, " but they will rush you and make it seem like they're going to leave without you if you don't hand over all of your things. They were also super late, which is why we were in such a hurry. Please just avoid this company altogether. We used Seatran for our transportation to Koh Samui and they were amazing, go with them instead of this shady joke of a company.

Lomprayah Catamaran

The Lomprayah van picked us up at our resort on Koh Samui and took us to the pier where we would board the catamaran to take us to Surat Thani. The “driver” of the van was horrible, he had the vehicle lurching forward and back throughout the entire journey. He seemed to be unable to accelerate or brake smoothly. He would hit the gas for one second and then remove his foot from the accelerator and then hit the gas again. When coming to a stop he couldn't just apply even pressure to the brake, he would hit the break several times before hitting the gas again. My girlfriend was feeling seasick before we even got on the boat.

One more thing about the drive to the pier, with Thailand being number one for traffic fatalities I always use the seat belt. Inside the van was a notice saying that you would be fined 5,000 Baht if you didn't buckle up The seat belts were all tucked into the seats in such a way that it was impossible to use them!

Okay, so we finally make it to the pier and board the boat and we are soon on our way, halfway through our voyage power goes out and the boat comes to a standstill. Being in a high-speed boat doesn't do you much good if it isn't moving! They had the problem taken care of in about 10 minutes but it seemed longer because of being dead in the water with the boat rocking in choppy seas.

Between their lousy drivers, lack of usable seat belts, and the apparent disrepair of their boats, I won't be using their services again.

Me and my family used this company to travel with the Catamaran and bus from Koh Samui to Phuket to get my airplane there back home. All went great but agreed was that the busdriver dropped us off at the main road near the airport of Phuket. He didn't. The bus driver drove us away from the airport to an abandoned parking lot and received a handfull of money from a taxi driver, I wasn't able to see how much but it were multiple banknotes. This taxi driver offcourse couldn't service all the people that got off the bus and asked for a ridiculously amount of money to get away from this abandoned place. The taxi driver wasn't friendly or cooperative at all. Because of the remoteness of the place there wasn't any taxi in sight, nor any form of public transport. After some walking, with all our backpacks, we found some locals who helped us out. This whole set-up was a scam and because the bus driver received money from the taxi driver he knew exactly what was going on. He purposely drove to this place knowing that we didn't had much choice but to pay a lot of money to some shady taxi driver and earned his share of this. I contacted the company about this and at first they gave me their apologies but immediately changed that to a more formal communication that they think this is normal and not a scam and support their bus driver in doing so. In my point of view this company supports scamming families with children and puts them in danger. Because of this it's best to take another company for whatever traveling you're planning to do.

Last night I wanted to book the ferry to surat thani town online, but the ticket all sold out, was it because of Friday? I booked the Phantip instead, and it's OK. I called the navigo from Bo Phut, it was about 560 baht (20% off with promo code) to the bus terminal. My suggestion is book early before you return to surat thani.however, Phantip is easy to book, and not crowded.

Generally Lomprayah provide a good service however lately I have been disappointed. In January I went into their Bangkok office and bought my sleeper train ticket for a date approximately 3 weeks later. The day before the train I went inside to confirm my ticket, as they recommend. The woman nods her head, doesn’t check anything, says it’s fine but when I go to my train it is not a sleeper but sitting! So I did not go, paid an extra night in a hotel and took their day bus. However instead of booking the day bus to Koh Phangan then booked my ticket to Koh Tao, do again I had to change it. So this actually cost me more time and money.

Another day I decided to book their transfer service. Disgraceful! We drove an extra hour at least to go to places far from my hotel to first drop off a Thai woman, who likely was not a paying customer then we head back towards the airport and finally my hotel. What should and could have been a 20 minute journey took one hour twenty. If I had known I would have taken a taxi instead. Lomprayah.please start getting your act sorted. Not impressed!
