Koh Tao Divers - KTD

We dived for the first time here and got our open water certificate, it was an incredible experience even in the off season (with pretty poor visibility). Naomi and Valtteri were fabulous instructors, they are clearly very experienced and were very present with us when under water which made us feel much more comfortable. The rest of the team were also very helpful! I would highly recommend doing your first dives here.

Completed a three-day OWD course with my spouse. Everything went great and the trainer was great. Thanks to the small group sizes, every member of the group was taken into account. Special thanks to Mika for running the course. This is good to continue towards new dives.

I completed the XR Sidemount and Independent Diver Course with KTD and it was one of the best experiences in my diving career.

Being an instructor myself, it was great to have such an amazing instructor who formed the course around my existing knowledge. Jordi is extremely knowledgable and keeps up to date with all the recent trends in sidemount diving and training. He also knew very well how to properly set up my new harness even if he doesn't own the same model.

Thanks for the amazing dives mate, I couldn't have wished for a better Instructor. Hope to see you in a couple of months in the XR Extended Range Course! Cheers, Pat:)

I can recommend the diving school 100%! Here you are in good hands. Big thanks to my diving instructor Marko Styrman, you immediately notice that he loves diving and he teaches you everything great with a lot of passion! I was very nervous and he managed to calm me down. It couldn't be better!

We did our Open Water Course here and it was a great experience! Our instructor Lucas was very calming, professional and fun to hang around. The dive sites was amazing, we loved diving at the shipwreck, and we felt safe and well looked after. They helped us with a lot of extra things like when we had trouble with the app etc. No rush with things and the lessons before going in the water was clear and Lucas did a great job explaining in a way that was interesting and easy to follow.

Other than that; the community and hangout spot for the divers had a very good vibe and the other divers/instructors are friendly and helpful. Felt very at peace here.

Only thing that made some discomfort was some small incidents with an assistent diver.

We will definitely come back here, looking forward for our next dive at Koh Tao! Thank you for an amazing time at the island

My friend and I completed our open water course here and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! Everyone was super friendly and helpful but especially Lucas, our instructor, who was incredibly knowledgeable and made sure that we felt safe every dive so that we could fully enjoy every second. Amazing dive center. We did 10 dives with them and we loved it! They are very professionnal, the material is in good condition and the dive sites are magical. Thanks to the team, we will come back for sure!

Thanks to Koh Tao Divers for those three amazing days. We did our open water courses with Jordi and this experience was unforgettable!
He was a super great instructor, very patient, very funny and we always felt confident with him underwater! If you don't know which center to go to, you can choose this one with your eyes closed!

I made my first diving experiences here. Our diving teacher was very friendly and professional so that you feel comfortable and have fun all the time: Both above and under the water. The location of the school is directly in front of the beach and the building/ office/ classroom/ equipment room is modern and a cool place to be.

Super good experience with KTD! My girlfriend and I were really happy with our 4 fun dives here. They were able to organize great dives in really small groups catered directly to our experience level.

We were total just 4 people on a dive, including the dive guide and got to even visit advanced diving sites like the Chumphon Pinnacle and the HMS Sattakut wreck, that we could observe from 18m. The team and the local community is very inclusive, laid back and chill while keeping a high level of safety and professionalism in their work.

Definitely back here next time if I am ever back on Koh Tao. Which i believe i will be, since Jordi, Tom, Ploy and others are already a reason enough to come back!

Fantastic SCUBA center located amidst great restaurants and in the vicinity of Sairee Beach.

I could have stayed here for longer and writing this I'm feeling blue about having to leave. Feels like we could have stayed here for a month, easily.

What I'll miss the most are the people. The staff at KTD are some of the most genuine and inspiring people you'll ever meet. Everyone has a story on how they got here and are very open to share their knowledge about SCUBA diving and life in general. I really enjoyed hanging out with everyone, under and above the surface.

Our instructor, Mika, is a world class professional who will support you individually to make you feel safe but will still challenge you to make progress. Even in a group setting he took into consideration individual skill sets and gave constructive feedback on everyones progress. It is he who made our experience as memorable as it has been. I wish him all the best and really truly hope we can make it back to Koh Tao for the Advanced course some time in the near future.

If you're interested in getting a grasp for what it's like to breathe underwater, there is no better place to learn than this one.

Completed the open water and OW advanced courses in a couple of weeks. Great dives and some beautiful spots, even when visibility isn't optimal. Pasi was a great instructor, very patient, very positive. Will definitely be coming back to complete some speciality courses in the future!

I recently completed my SSI open water diving course. As a complete novice to diving, the coaching was great and Koh Tao Divers made the whole experience great fun and I learned a lot. Thanks to Mika who was a great teacher. Hopefully will be back diving spoon:)

The best (and oldest) dive school in Koh Tao! Had an amazing time here. Excellent instructors, really helpful staff. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a high quality dive school in Koh Tao.
