Haad Yao Divers

Amazing stuff amazing organization always felt safe and well supported! A motivated and friendly team.

My husband and I had a great time getting certified in open water diving through PADI with Haad Yao Divers! They very kindly collected us from the port when we arrived on Koh Phanang, gave us tips about what to see and do (and eat) in the area and really made us feel comfortable and welcome. Diving at Shark Island and Sail Rock was amazing and the boat ride there and back was really lovely too; the boat crew were really helpful and friendly. Our instructor Mario was easy going but made sure we learned everything we needed to in order to dive safely in open water and was patient with us even when we were struggling and getting frustrated.

I hope I get to dive with Haad Yao Divers again, it was a great experience ️

Had two great dives with them at sail rock. Mateja is a great guide, passionate about diving and sealife. Pointed out a lot of fish, glass shrimp, batfish, sweetlips, triggerfish, , groupers, super big schools of barracuda. And off course up and down the chimney. Was in luck being with one other experienced diver, both dives over 60mins, awesome! Highly recommended!

Fantastic! The pickup from my villa was perfectly on time, which was an excellent first impression for the day. Upon meeting James, the guide/instructor (don't know what term is proper/preferred, sorry) for the dives, I immediately felt welcomed and in good hands. He was very thorough asking about my experience to date and making sure I understood certain terms and safety protocols. Being a new diver, I never felt judged or looked down upon, rather the opposite. Everyone I spoke with who worked with Haad Yao Divers were extremely pleasant, laughing, smiling, and seemed so happy to share their passion for diving with everyone, experienced and neophytes alike. (More than likely, they'll have you laughing till your face hurts, but it's a good hurt) Great shop, great divers, highly recommend.
Oh, and how could I forget, the food between dives is excellent!

Très bonne plongée, le centre plutôt allemand nous a trouvé un guide francophone pour un discover scuba diving.
Nous avons vu à Sail Rock un requin baleine (whale shark) et les deux plongées se sont très shine passées!
L’ambiance est parfaite: merci!

Best dive center on the island. Great equipment, fast and comfortable boat, professional staff all in all excellent service. Highly recommend for fun dives and also a great place if you want to start diving.

I must say this is a great company to go diving with. They sorted out everything. You get picked up in the morning even if your place is in Haad Rin. The equipment is well maintained. Before and after the dive it will be set up for you. You just have to put it on and jump into the sea. The dive guide was very friendly and well experienced. Breakfast and tasty lunch plus unlimited soft drinks were provided. It is not cheap however, but you really get value for your money.

Nice place, friendly staff (all speak great english). Quality equipment. They say breakfast and lunch is included but that is apparently only if you dive from a boat (which they should have mentioned when booking the course). Where you dive depends on weather, from my 3 day course 1 day was on a boat.

I did open water diving course, first time diving ever. I felt really safe during the course. Not the cheapest one on the island but I chose them because of reviews.

We had a fantastic day diving with Had Yao. Our French instructor, Thomas, was outstanding and paid great attention to ensuring we were confident and saw loads of sealife. Good breakfast and lunch. Overall great value for money.

Highly recommend. Hint: don't do the beach dive (as we did, to refresh after 1 year break), the boat dive is much better, costs double but it's 2 dives and it includes: hotel pick up, breakfast and lunch, transfer back to the hotel. You even get discount if you do more fun dives.

Had a great experience and a lot of fun getting my PADI Open Water certificate here. If possible, ask for the French and English speaking instructor Thomas. He did an incredible job!

The dive shop has good and careful instructors and owns a boat for themselves. We went to the sail rock, I did snorkeling and my friend did fundive. Due to the sea condition the result was not the best, but still was a very nice to join this dive shop:)
