This company really took care of its customers during COVID-19. Me and my travel partner traveled to Koh Phangan right before the outbreak got serious and our original ferry off the island got canceled. We extended our stay hoping that travel in the beginning of May would get better, which it did. The customer care representatives were very understanding of the situation going on around the world and told us we could re-book our original return for a future date. At the time we didn't know exactly when we'd be getting off the island so we kept in contact with a representative and they told us to let them know the date as soon as we knew when we'd like to get off the island. The responses from their representatives were always very fast, you didn't have to wait any longer than 10 minutes for a response. We did have to spend a little extra ($11 USD each) to take the speedboat ferry, because that was the only ferry operating once a day off the island. In the future I'd prefer to take Raja Ferry which is the slower operating ferry, but we didn't have a choice in this situation given the wild times that the virus has brought upon us. Overall I am very happy with how they handled this situation as I'm sure everyone has been freaking out about anything they've booked, especially any booking involving getting off an island. They could have easily screwed us over and told us we couldn't get a refund and would have to re-book a brand new ticket but luckily they honored our original booking. I highly recommend them and definitely will utilize their services in the future.

The boat we booked was canceled. We got transferred to a later boat. Had to change in koh Tao, was difficult to understand where to find our luggage. Longer trip then scheduled. Bus was one hour late to destination

Fantastic service from Ferry Samui from start to finish despite me swapping and changing my plans a few times. All paperwork handled efficiently ad the staff being courteous at all times.

I paid for transportation from the airport to the ferry and they canceled my transportation without notice. I had to find another ferry service to get to my hotel in time and then FerrySamui refused to refund the tickets after i missed the boat because they didnt book the taxi that I paid them for! Now they are making me contest the charge on my credit card to get my money back. DO NOT USE

Hey, i made a return trip to Koh Samui w Liva travel and was more then satisfied.
I had trouble day before i come and couldnt print my pass, so i contact them and they responded promptly.
Made sure i can board the bus and boat and enjoy my trip.
Trip with them to Koh Samui was great and i would do it again
Also trip was fast and nice. So recommended to do it with them if you choose to go.

Overall very good but here’s step by step for Koh Samui to Koh Lanta:
- Pickup from hotel was easy and driver showed us where to go to hide ticket/collect stickers that they use to highlight to other logistic companies where you are going (Koh Lanta, Tao etc.)
- Ferry was easy, well organised and kept belongings well. Also has toilets and coffee. 1 hour 15 from Koh Samui
- Coach was well organised and smooth. No stop on the coach though. It took 3 hours to get to Krabi.
- Once off the coach, it got worse though - it just drove away with no direction for what to do next. We went into the pier and they said wait outside 30 mins. 5 mins later we were told to go into taxi, which took us to another shop where we gave our ticket to another company in exchange for taxi/minivan part of journey. They should be clear upfront that you need to pay 50 TBH each for Ferry cost (to get to Lanta island). At first, thought were being scammed. We were told to wait 30 mins then again they arrived 10 mins later
- Minivan was cool but driver was hectic/fast and not comfortable. Took less time to get there (1.5 hours, not 2) but still he wasn’t great.

Extremely professional and on point service. I booked ferry+bus tickets to go to Koh Samui from Krabi and return, their price was way less than the actual price offered on site. Their timing of everything was extremely precise. Hugely satisfied.

Excelent organized, we used on our round trip Bankgkok - KohKood. Two kids And a senior with us, so I was bit nervous. Anyway when returning to Bankgkok at 20pm (dark outside), the driver didn't take us to final station as planned due to traffic jam, I guess, but He kicked US out od the bus about 750 metres far from Khaosan rd where we booked the hotel accordingly. Granny wasn't able to walk, kids and lot of luggage.not very convenient situaton which caused US additional issues and expenses. But I Will definately use next time in Thailand, everything else was really smooth!

Our first trip with ferrysamui was canceled due to maintenance, we found out later that they haven’t filled up the bus, this made it very difficult for us to get from hua hin til koh phangan.
Because we already had paid for the stay on the island, we booked a trip at night, which was inconvenient for us since we have small children.
The bus was old and worn out.
We also booked at trip of the island, this was even worse.
The bus was even more worn out, bad seats and had a bad smell and no toilets, the first stop for toilets was after 4 hours.
There was no communication, suddenly we had to change busses, and not every one got onboard.
The trip took about 90 mins longer than expected.

Our ferry left 45 mins late and caused us to miss our connecting flight. It was the first ferry of the day. So allow many hours if you need to make a connecting flight.

Easy booking and great service. It was easy to get the tickets simply with the reservation number on my smartphone and infos were clear. Plus I found a Seatran boat that was not mentioned on other websites.

The check in was well organised, we didn't have any problem to find the boat. I've taken two routes, first from phuket to phi phi was great, the boat was large and with a coffee place inside. The second boat from phi phi to krabi wasn't nice, some stops were in the middle of sea and people had to change the boat to reach the coast. The boat hasn't any facilities and wasn't clean, I've got flea bites on me. Also, I've booked a private van transfer to my hotel and ended up in a shares "tuk tuk"

I think it's worth it to maybe do a little more research and book directly with a specific ferry company if possible, as ferry Samui seems to just act as a 3rd party booking with other companies for you. Which means you have no control over what kind of ferry you've been booked onto, the ferry we took did not feel tourist orientated at all, it was very heavy duty, even carrying trucks! Also, it was very difficult finding the person we had to meet to catch the bus as there was no direct line of contact. But we go where we needed to be in one piece with minimal problems so. There's that

Very bad service I woud not use. They made an error with my hotel pick up.then did not except any reponsibilty. Ended up costing another £50 in all with taxi and boat tickets not help what so ever in fact super rude on the phone! Very bad would not use there are other boat services and agents I would e very carful they evn have a warning on the confrimations and if your tickets dont work or if you rasie a bank disupte.which seemed wired at th time of booking? I soon found out why!

Easy booking online and trustable. Also a good service with reasonable price from the check-in counter at Surat Airport to the bus and to the ferry.

The ferry has air-connand outdoor zone with snack shop and toilet.

The bus was 40 min to late. Because of that we missed our ferry. The bus was also not that comfortable

Very good booking. Ferry was clean and fast. First ferry moved piers and our flight was late but ferrysamui notified us and helped us get to it. Pick up also sorted. 2nd ferry was out for maintenance but they moved us without problems to different company almost at same time. Good service good communications

Everything went smoothly, a little more communication would be nice (what the driver is doing or what we as passengers need to do when the bus pulls over)

If you're going halfway around the world it's nice to know that details such as ferries and taxis to and from these ferries are taken care of. While not the cheapest route it was nice to know my ride was waiting for me as soon as I got off the ferry to take me to the airport. I had a really tight window to catch my flight so this detail became really important!
