27Great for learning diving, I did the Open water diver (owd) for 8000 THB. Small group by 4, excellent trainer Max! Have their own boat, very well organized. Not too busy.
Super-friendly people here! Although I'm not a diver they fixed my mask and gave me nice informations, which is very rare in this island.if i finally decide to dive i would certainly go with them!
Welcoming and helpful stuff like all over this country. Good preperation and knowldege Transfer. Zur offered and included Breakfast and rooms could need an update.
Small diving center run by Sven from Germany. I will be the only person on the open water course and the price is 9k b inc fan room, 9800 with aircon room. 6 dives instead of the usual 4! And no nasty chlorine pool work, shallow sea instead. Not super social but the other people taking courses here were so friendly when I bumped in to them.
Did 4 dives there.
-Instructors were very good, responsible and knowledgeable;
-Equipment was very good, great boat, gears etc.they even provided me with a dive computer;
-Ladies at front desk were a pain. Beside cashing your money they were not responsive, didn't really know what was going on and didn't seem to give a damn.which is why the 3 stars. They should be trained or replaced.
I had an amazing experience on Koh Tao with Dive Point! My friend and I decided to get our open water here, and it was the best decision. Not only were we we getting private instruction (2 of us with one instructor), but we got six dives in, and our instructor (Allen) was amazing! It's not very often you run across someone who is so passionate about what they do. Allen really cared about teaching us and sharing the world of diving. He was so patient, fun, smart and safe. For anyone who is looking for a discovery dive, open water course, or any other advanced instruction, go to Dive Point.
-The provided accommodations (room with A/C) were nice and clean as well and located very centrally to town.
