Chill Inn Beach Cafe & Hostel

Perfect place for staying for week or more! Great and super friendly staff, amazing food, cocktails, music. Michael is the best manager and DJ ever!

$10 a night for a beachfront view? Ummm YES! I had a great time at the Chill Inn Hostel. The bar has good food and drinks at reasonable prices. It was a pretty busy at night too so that was fun. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. The beds were comfy. The hostel itself is very stylish and trendy with beautiful sunset views. You'll probably want to get a motorbike/scooter to get around while you are there.

From the moment i stepped up to the hostel warm sea air filled my nose, amazing views swept my eyes and tropical joy overwhelmed my heart.from the views to the staff, the amenities and the kind owner, Chill Inn has my heart. I will return soon hopefully i’ll see you there.

Great hostel! Everything is super clean and new, great place to chill, 5min by scooter for Lamai, you have the sea just outside, really great view from the rooms.
Plus Mike the owner is really nice, tells you the best places around the island to go to, can rent you a scooter really fast, helps you if anything happens. Met some great people over there!
During the day the sun hits the rooms real hard but there's the AC so no problem at all
Downside during my stay and why I don't give the hostel 5 stars: one night a birthday party (not of the guests) happened, very very loud music (my bed was trembling) until 2am, we couldn't get any sleep. I understand that it is a usefull income, but it was not respectful of the guests sleeping just upstairs from the party and wanted a "Chill" night
But it was only one night, otherwise the hostel is very very cool, people are very welcoming and nice, all the facilities are clean and new, and the view is amazing!

Clean up to date facilities, good price, right on the beach.
The Owner Mike is really helpful and takes time to explain what is where and how best to do it. Plus he's available the phone to assist.
Overall a great place to stay.

I loved my stay at Chillin Hostel and ended up staying almost a week. The place is directly at the beach and you have a beautiful view from your bed in the dorm. It's a great place to hang out and meet people. The owner Mike is super helpful with anything you need. He took me to some waterfalls and showed us a hidden bar which is stunning (directly on a rock at the beach). He also has some nice plans to improve the place and make it even better. It is also possible to rent scooters there and it has a restaurant & bar where you can have delicious burgers, padthai (some other meals) and drinks. Loved it. 5 Stars. Would definitely recommend and come back anytime! ;)

By far the best hostel I have ever visited or stayed in. Not only are the views immaculate, but the food, waitstaff, owner, and patrons are genuinely the most upbeat and down to earth member of society I have ever crossed paths with. Mike (the owner) is not only helpful and kind, but sincerely cared for my experience and gave me his personal contact info incase I needed any guidance or advice on the island. 10/10 will be coming back.

Great afternoon at Chill Inn. Food was really good and very good value for money. Cocktails were just amazing and really refreshing, they were neither too strong or too weak. Just the right doses of alcohol and fruit juice, and after 3 of them I was somewhat in a state of euphoria. Ren was also a great host and made sure we had everything we needed. The welcoming was warm and courtious and straight away we felt at ease. I couldn't find a fault anywhere.

There's a lot of hostel in Samui, but this one is, in my opinion, the best.

They're on the beach front, a couple of minutes of walking away from Lamai road.

What really sets it apart is the staff and especially the owner, Shane. When you first arrive, he gives you an introduction to the island, all the spots to visit and what to do, how to get there including the price you should haggle to.

He's really hand on and it feels like you have a nice old uncle looking out for you.

The best hostel I have ever stayed in! Really clean, Lovely friendly staff! The owners were very helpful and welcoming! Food at the hostel was also amazing! Would definitely recommend! Only down side is if you're not confident riding a scooter its approx 15 mins taxi from the main beaches! However its defo worth the stay!

Such a great hostel in a quieter place in samui but close enough to chaweng. Stayed 3 nights but I could easily have stayed longer, the place is in a secluded bay with direct access to both the main road and also the beautiful sea and beach. Kayak rental is available and well worth the 50baht per hour of the sea is nice and calm Shane and all the staff were happy to help with any queries I had and sorted ferry trips and car hire out so I didnt have to worry about any of it. Would definitely recommend and I might even coke back if I come back to samui again

I stayed at this hostel for over 3 weeks to do some Muay Thai. I couldn’t have picked a better hostel. Shane, Pop and Naan are wonderful, they’re always there to help you out with everything. They introduce everybody to each other which makes it easier for you to connect with people and make new friends. The food is great as well and is freshly made. The location is stunning, right at the beach with a beautiful view. There’s plenty of space to chill. The kids and dogs that are there most of the time are really nice which made my time here feel like a second home.

The hostel is located on a beautiful beach. It has a lovely bar/outdoor area which allows you to relax and enjoy the view. The food is excellent and the bar serves the cheapest and coldest beer on the island. Shane, the owner, is an excellent host who tells you all you need to know about the island, and is always available to help you organise what you want to do. Overall a great place to stay.

This place is awesome, nice and clean, affordable. Grear staff, We always have some beer around 4-6 pm, beautiful sunset along the side.

Loved this hostel. Clean, cozy, at the beach. They have a nice café/bar that has amazing, affordable food. Only downside is that you are not allowed to bring any food to the hostel during the cafes opening hours and there is no fridge. Though, the nice café makes up for it as the food, the staff and prices are great. Also, the owners are super nice and will help you with booking trips and finding out what's worth visiting. Would definitely recommend!

I stayed here for 5 nights and it was great. I have never stayed in a hostel before and was travelling alone so was a bit nervous before I got there, but I am sure glad I stayed here. Shane and Pop are amazing people and the other residents staying at the time were really nice. I would do it again especially at the Chill Inn.and definitely the coldest beer on the island. Thank you Shane and Pop for your hospitality.

A lovely place to relax and spend your vacation in Koh Samui. The whole ambience of this place is so calming and worth the stay. ️️

Amazing. Plain and simple. Very kind staff and management. Very informative too. If you want to do anything on the island they'll tell you all about it and even book it for you. Come here for a great stay on Koh Samui.
