Ananda Villa

The rooms we booked were clean enough and the staff friendly. The only problem was the noise at night. The Pier is close which we thought was good, but the noise from boats arriving and departing was a big drawback.

I stayed at Ananda Villa during my PADI diving.course, and loved it.
The Black Turtle Dive office is at the Ananda Villa where is located at 1 minute walking distance from the pier. Super convenient.
I am planning to stay longer at Ananda Villa, since it has the best location and the best room condition in this price range.
Toilet is also really clean and well-maintained.
The staffs are very helpful and nice.
Wifi is fast so I had no problem to work and study in the room.
The room has a spacy balcony, where you can relay and see the sunset.

You can rent a motorbike from Ananda Villa reception.
They also provide laundry service (you need to pay little money)
Ananda Villa has a great restaurant that called Breeze.

Stayed here for 5 nights and had a great time. Right on the beach, they have a safe swimming area where I enjoyed a relaxing swim every morning, friendly staff and this area of the beach is super clean even though it's close to the pier. Really nice spot to watch the sunset and has two great restaurants Breeze that serves an International menu & Pranees Kitchen, a cozy Thai restaurant. Mid (lower end) range price wise. Great value for money

Fantastic location with amazing staff! I’m so pleased with my stay at Amanda villa. My room was gorgeous, and opened up right on the beach. It was super close to one of the main roads and I had two fantastic restaurants seconds from my room. I had the option of Thai or international food at my fingertips and could eat overlooking the ocean. I couldn’t ask for a better location.

The staff took great care of me and were extremely friendly. I would definitely recommend staying here.

It was ok. We stayed in a bungalow with garden view. The bungalow was old and needed a renovation.

Superb location in Koh Tao and just a few meters from the beach in superior AC rooms. There is a safe swimming area and the reception can organise all your trips, scooter, local and international travel.

Superb, clean and safe rooms with international TV, light refreshments and located close to local amenities.

Friendly and helping crew. Very close to the pier and just on the beach. The restaurant on the side is noisy around lunch time though.

Rooms are very clean and has everything necessary. The personnel is very helpfull and nice! We had a room with sea view, we loved it.
The hotel's restaurant is allso really good but a little expensive.

Nice, friendly family managed beachside hotel, with well maintained rooms, and reasonable pricing with great value in mid price range. Two restuaruants onsite with plenty of choice

My second visit here. Same as first time, the room was very clean, the staff are always friendly and having a cold beer on the balcony watching an awesome sunset is always great. Location is close to all of the bars, cafes, restaurants etc.

Beautiful location right on the beach and only a 3 min walk from the pier. This family run hotel offers stunning rooms and wooden bungalows with fan or AC. With two restaurants on site and a host of local activities that can be booked through reception, its a great place to stay on Koh Tao and enjoy the sunsets, food and activities. Highly recommended!

Location, location, location! Not only are you located directly on the beach, you are no more than a few minutes walk from a variety of shops and restaurants. The rooms are gorgeous and tucked away in a nice quiet area.

Another upside is that it is a few minutes walk from the pier. This means as soon as you arrive on the island you can quickly get settled into you room.

I definitely recommend Ananda Villa to anyone visiting Koh Tao.

The rooms are nice, spacious, comfortable and very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful, but I give only three stars because of the location, it's very close to the pier and it's very noisy, also we heard people screaming during the three nights we were staying so it was impossible to sleep well.

Very friendly staff. Easy check-in. Room a little basic and lots of bugs in the room but somewhat to be expected given season and Beachside location. Overall a pretty decent place to crash. Very cheap and for the price a great deal.

Great location, quiet but less than a 30 second walk from the center of the island. I had a very spacious bungalow, the bathroom left something to be desired but the bed was huge and comfy and it was a nice touch to have a balcony to sit on at night. Only major downside was the chickens but that’s part and parcel of anywhere you stay in Asia really!

Rooms were clean, well maintained and super comfortable. If you are in koh tao to dive and relax, you can't ask for a better place.
