The biggest street market in Chiang Mai on Sunday night!
Obviously it’s crowded but it is worth it to go all around, foreigners and also local spend their time shopping/bargaining and eating in that area.
You may feel overwhelmed at the end because there’s so many things to see.
Look at the temple at the opposite side of the Tha Pae Gate, it is for my opinion the cutest one in Old town definitely worth it to go check it out.
มีแต่ต่างชาติเยอะ ของกินรสชาติกลืนแทบไม่ลง ร้านที่อยู่ในวัดใต้ต้นมะม่วง มีเก้าอี้เล็กๆให้นั้ง ข้าวผัดติดคอดี ยำเห็ดเน่า เสียอารมณ์ ส่วนถนนคนเดินข้างนอกก็มีแต่ของเหมือนๆกันทั้งนั้นเดินแล้วน่าเบื่อ
Not very different to another market at Thailand, but one of the bigger and cheaper that I see around this beautiful country!
A must if you come to Chiangmai. Recommend to come hungry and visit the street food stalls in the temples around for local food tasting. The temples are open late so you can visit too. Many handicrafts and souvenirs with reasonable price to shop. By the time you feel tired, you can drop by for a quick foot massage too.
