It's cheap and the owner is nice and helpful, you'll easily get in contact with other travellers - but you can expect nothing more than that. We did not get the room that we booked and considering other reviews this is normal practice. We were located in a total different location that was not well maintained, not clean at all. We only stayed one night and booked a different hotel. The owner was however cooperative when we let her know that we wanted to cancel the other nights which was fair.

Absolutely amazing! Simply blew our expectations in every way. Nuy is the sweetest host u can imagine and a cooking legend. Not just the food but also the whole atmosphere and our room where perfect. Thanks so much for having us!

This is really the best Hostel experience I ever had. Planned to stay for one night and then stuck there for eight days. Thank you very much for everything, it reall felt like home. Breakfast, dinner, bicycles and laundry are included. Motorbikes csn be rented very cheap.

Good location! Every day free fully breakfast and dinner. It feels like home, cozy atmosphere. I have met a lot of great people, especially the owner - Nuy, she’s just down to earth. She gets everyone involved with each other easily. I went on the elephant sanctuary tour with people at the homestay organized by Nuy. The tour was wonderfull! Everything happened here made my stay become unforgetable. If you’re solo travelers I highly recommend here as you will have some companies.

The owner, Nuy is an amazing person who gives just the best energy. The price is great and you have breakfast, dinnner, laundry, bike rental included in the price. You can also rent a motorbike from her and she offers transfer to airport as well.
During the dinner you can meet amazing people from all around the world.

Best Hostel in Thailand so far! Nui (the Host) is super sweet and cooks every evening for the guests for free. Breakfast and Dinner are included in the price and are really nice events to socialize a bit. We had a really nice little privat room with ac. You can also get a bycicle for free or a motorbike for 100baht. Nui is super sweet and does her absolute best to ensure that everybody is happy. Cant recommend this place enough!

Best place to stay in Chiang Mai hands down. Also amazing prices for bike rental - Nuy is an angel!

For info (and the reason why I took a star off) : if booking private rooms, you are taken to nearby Winner Inn, which is not the greatest, as the beds are *really* hard and the shower is pretty awful. Nuy, the host, probably books a set of rooms there just to be able to provide the private accommodation.

However, the room price includes laundry, breakfast (usually eggs, toast & fruit) and home cooked Thai dinner.

Nuy is very helpful, she gave us maps and booked tours for us with providers she is affiliated with (all discounted, but no pressure if not interested). She also provided transfer to the airport free of charge. Overall, I thought it was good value for money and enjoyed the tasty dinners.

This is a place where you should stay in Chiang Mai. We got spacious rooms in Winner Inn hotel as host has some agreement with them. Great location, close to downtown. In price you will get delicious breakfasts and dinners. Host helps with organizing trips at really good price and advice if you wish to do it by yourself.

Best service in Chiang Mai. Nui is lovely, cooks amazing food and will be the best host you will ever find.

Amazing experience.
I Was not expecting to stay that long at the beginning.
But I was stunned by Nuy warm welcome.
She took care of me and was very helpful to organise trekking and give any touristic advices.
She gave the best prices for taxi and any touristic things to do.
She cooked for us breakfast and dinner.
The community feeling at dinner time is amazing. Never met so many peoples and socialised a lot.

She even gave me a free lift to the airport

Stop looking for other places and stay here! There is no other place that will ever compare to Like Home. Nuy cooks the best food and takes you in like family. She is one of the most loving people you will meet and it was so hard to leave. It's such a great community of people-I booked 1 night and ended up staying for 8.

The location is also amazing, a quick walk to the town center and you can rent motorbikes from her as well! Nuy will help you with tours and the best places to go in town!
