The Missing Burro

Real genuine Mexican style food. Nothing like Taco-Bell or anything. I missed these since I left Mexico a few years ago and it was a pleasant surprise to find a restaurant like this, in Thailand!

Authentic Mexican tacos! Tastes similar to the ones I had in Mexico City. Would recommend the pescadillas and Al Pastor (not in these photos)

I have returned after several months back home. I was very excited to eat here again and was the first restaurant I ate at when I got to BKK. Yes, it taste good as before.

First time Mexican food in Thailand, and REALLY impress! Nice atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff.

Loved the food. We were craving Mexican and ended up at the perfect joint. Great ambience for a relaxed evening with friends as well. Car pool if you can, parking could be an issue otherwise!

Great place! Just what I wanted: good food (you can feel the authentic touch), laid back but good atmosphere, big outdoor seating area.

Delicious Mexican food. The items we ordered were on the "Heavy" side, a little more greasy than desired. Service was bright and cheery, the mocktails were excellent counterpoints to the earthy, braised meats, and the salsas were fresh.

Authentic food. High quality imported ingredients. Awesome drinks and cocktails. Great service. Great atmosphere. All packed in a laid back garden atmosphere. A great place to decompress. All in all this is probably the most authentic food that I have had in Thailand.

Always loved the outdoor dining space. My favorite is their Michelada, best i’ve had by far.

I could go more often for dinner if they had more variety in the taste of their food, I feel like every time we eat here all of the dishes taste the same even if they are made from different ingredients can be quite heavy too on the cheese and grease.

Also, prices are not easily visible, and when you think of it, they are actually not cheap for a casual, easy mexican food. I always come here and never paid less than 1.3k and i’m still hungry after

Authentic food, but about 50Baht too much per dish. Not convinced the ambiance or authenticity is worth the ~$10usd price (average). Portions moderate.

Top quality ingredients and lots of flavor! Friendly and competent staff and a nice owner, and the place is very relaxed and has a cosy vibe. You can even pay with Bitcoin Cash and Dash if you're into crypto currency! I would give six stars if I could pay with the real Bitcoin!:)

Dropped by a couple of times and I would say food is ok (complementary chips and Salsa are just decoration though). Location is nice and owner is friendly.
I think it didn't have prices on the menu which is a bit odd for that scale.
On that note I would suggest to increase the size of the portions to make it a proper Mexican experience.

Overall it's not as good as it thinks it is, but if you are in the area it's nice enough to give it a try.

This food electrifies your senses. These mouth watering dishes are nothing but superb. I feel there's alot of planning and preparation that goes in to each dish. You can literally taste so many flavours on one bite my mouth had a sensory overload. Staff are friendly & the ambiance is cosy. A solid 5 stars.

Nice cosy restaurant in a small alley in thong lo. We reached without booking and staff was kind enough to set a table in garden area. Food was delicious and lots of choices for traditional Mexican items. Service was fast and efficient.

Love the atmosphere. It was like I went hang out at friend's house with a nice front yard and fancy lightings. Food was great. Love the cheesecake. A bit pricey but worth trying. I will definitely go back.

The place itself looks really nice with a garden in front and Mexican miniatures inside the bar. Waiters can speak English and provide good information.

Strong choice for Mexican food in Bangkok. Lovely place with a homely feel, attentive staff and reasonable prices for the quality of the food served.
