The Missing Burro

Everything was fine but nothing was great. If a friend said, let's go to The Missing Burro, I wouldn't protest but I also would never be that friend.

Went for Cinco De Mayo dinner, was seated immediately as a solo diner. Ordered shrimp tacos & horchata. Tacos were nice and spicy. Shrimp had a juicy bounce to it. The horchata didn't do it for me though. It was very bland, barely any cinnamon taste. Kind of just sweet watery milk.

Dispensary upstairs is another perk. I would return to try the rest of the menu too.

It is hard to find good Mexican food in Thailand, but Missing Burro never disappoints! Our favorite thing about this spot is that they have tons of Yucatan favorites like cochinita pibil that we hardly ever see outside of Mexico. If you're looking for authentic Mexican in Bangkok, this is probably your best bet! Service is very fast, staff is great every time, and they always give us an abundance of limes which is sooo necessary for Mexican food! The price is definitely high, and prices aren't listed on the menu, but it is always worth it because the quality is great, and it is obvious a lot of love goes into each dish. Recommended to make a reservation on weekend nights because they tend to get quite busy.

The food there is really nice. In my opinion this is one of the best Mexican restaurant in Bangkok, I would recommend more menu options like burritos and taco birria because I want to try taco birria since that thing to my eyes looks good I don't know about the taste but I would want to try that. Adding burritos can be good too since it's one of the most popular dish of Mexican food

Atmosphere is nice and I personally like outdoor zone. Foods have been served so fast and a portion is ok for not breaking your stomach. Staffs pay attention to customers well.

It was okay but there are definately better Mexican places in Bangkok.

Price was abut on the heavier side.
The steaks are good tho! But the tacos and quesadillas can be given a pass.

The food and service was excellent. Wide selection of drinks. The owner was very friendly. He cares a lot to serve authentic Mexican food in Bangkok. This place has a great vibe and atmosphere. The location is also good.

I had a delicious dinner here last night and it was the best Mexican restaurant ever. But this morning, my wife and I got food poisoning and are currently receiving treatment at Sukhumvit Hospital. Due to high fever and diarrhea, we could no longer travel, so we decided to return home. It was very delicious food, but it is a pity in terms of hygiene management. I am sorry to ruin this trip.

Dropped by a couple of times and I would say food is ok (complementary chips and Salsa are just decoration though). Location is nice and owner is friendly.
I think it didn't have prices on the menu which is a bit odd for that scale.
On that note I would suggest to increase the size of the portions to make it a proper Mexican experience.

Overall it's not as good as it thinks it is, but if you are in the area it's nice enough to give it a try.

The chicken enchiladas and shrimp tacos was extraordinary and their mojito was great too. Amazing service and super friendly staff. However, we had food poisoning the next morning. The restaurant might want to take this to review the cleanliness and freshness of the food.

Loved this place and the general vibe. Feels like you aren't in the big bad city for a bit.
Service and margarita's were on point and the pulled pork carnitas were some of the best I have ever tried! Recommend!

Wow.so deciduous and fresh. Food is packed with flavours. For Mexican food lovers, this is a place you must go. Though quite a walk from BTS station, you wouldn’t be disappointed.

Normally you don’t equate Bangkok with Mexican food But my Mexican friends and I were not disappointed.

Food was authentic Mexican, the restaurant has an outdoor patio that is perfect for a party.

The food was fresh, the mole was amazingly spiced and we really enjoyed the beef Alambre.

Drinks like the Margaritas was fun and not
Watered down.

Nice little Mexican spot tucked away down a quiet Soi in Thong Lo. This place has a better cocktail list than most Mexican restaurants I’ve been to. We ordered a ton of different dishes that were fantastic. The Gringas had a great adobo sauce, and the Shrimp Tacos came with massive prawns in them. The Tacos Al Pastor were also a big hit. The service here was perfect, they were super attentive and made some good recommendations.

Wow! The food is excellent and tasty! Vibey atmosphere and the hosts are so welcoming. One of my favourite restaurants in Bangkok.

Wow, what can i say about this place. Simly amazing. If there were more than 5 stars, i would have wanted to give it here.
Place is cool, gets the feeling of Mexican countryside, food is simply great, authentic Mexican, even better than what i have had in Mexico.
As i understand the Owner and cook are from Mexico and it reflects in the set up and food. I would hVe loved to meet the Owner.
Its a tradegy i could find this place only on the last day of my stay in Bangkok.

I went on a first date there. The food was good, the owner (I guess) asked us if everything was alright which was nice to enquire. It's very hard to choose the dish though as everything looks good and they obviously know their craft. However I wish there were prices in the menu. Not that I'm a cheapskate but I like to know ahead of time how much I'm about to spend. Prices are good anyway. Overall, will definitely go back.

Great ambience (lovely relaxed garden), lovely friendly attentive service. Beer a good price, the food is quite pricey but delicious:)
