10 to 15 minutes before the actual allocated time they let you in (you need to show the appointment confirmation). Inside, they give a token. During this time, there may be a waiting time of 50 mins to one hour at peak for your turn in the first counter. First counter check documents. Second counter collect all the checked documents and passport. Third counter collect payment (exact cash only) and give acknowledgement. The second and third counter moves very fast. Usually, in 3 to 5 days, you get your passport back with a visa (normal request). For me as I had my application printed in colour, they did not take/ask for my photographs. Also, they did not collect my biometrics. Mask wearing is a must. Some staff are not polite. Building offers paid parking (despite parking stamped by agency). Copier services are offered within the centre for 5 THB per page. Premises could be more spacious. If you are a foreigner, then take a copy of the page in your passport that has a recent Thailand entry stamp. I had a fair experience overall.

I'm disappointed with the extended wait times in the queuing system, which have consistently exceeded two hours. This excessive time commitment is a significant inconvenience and detracts from the overall customer experience.

Counters and staff are shortage. The process is slow with lots of service demand. It takes me more than 2 hours to apply for a visa. Another hour for passport collection.

Absolutely chaotic and a hot mess.
VAC website also did not clearly state no walk-ins.

ไปทำวีซ่าจีนรอบเช้า ถ้ามาถึงก่อนเวลานานๆจะยังเข้าไม่ได้ จะเรียกให้เข้าก่อนถึงเวลาประมาณ 10 นาที คนค่อนข้างเยอะแต่ระบบการจัดการดี เตรียมเอกสารมาครบ ใช้เวลาทั้งหมดประมาณครึ่งชั่วโมงเสร็จ

Visa services for China has been resumed after lifting up the major restrictions. But still tourist visas are not allowed. More over visa details can be found at the website of Chinese visa application center and embassy.

This is my second trip here in two weeks. This time to pick up a document that was authenticated. Next time will be for my work visa. I was here about 5 years ago for a tourist visa.
During every single visit, they have always been very professional and friendly, and extremely organized. I've never had an extensive wait. Right now with the covid situation the number of applicants is limited, but even 5 years ago, it was a very smooth and easy process.

Expect a long wait! Even when just picking up the passport, so if everything is fully paid for and has been approved, I don’t understand why we had to wait almost an hour to pick up. Staff not very organised, need to pick a more efficient system in place.

You don't come here for fun, that's for sure. Staff are helpful, and queues move fast. Downside is lack of feedback from embassy on visa decisions.

Avoid using this option for application if at all possible. After being told that the application for my son's visa would take 3-4 days, we waited 5 weeks only for them to tell us that no decision had been made. Nor could they tell us when a decision would be made. They suggested we retrieve his passport in case we needed to travel but told us we would need to pay the full fee to get it back. Unfortunately, you don't have much in the way of alternative options in Thailand. If possible, I suggest applying in Hong Kong or your home country so you can avoid wasting time and money on this scam.

Cozy and very organised. I was there when there was not lot of people so only few counters opened. I waited about 10 minutes and the process was very quick.

Great service friendly people, can do your passport photo and photo copies there as well for a low cost.

One star for my country, no star for the unprofessional staff. Been trying to apply for a family visa for my legal husband, they ask certified the marriage certificate by A and B. We got it done. But the staff here won’t look, and they told us to get A and C!? How ridiculous! Changed the requirements from time to time.how many 4weeks of time and money we have to waste in the authentication? They are either interns that are unprofessional at all, or they are just being wasting our time on purpose

Chinese visa application center in Bangkok is centrally located in a very beautiful building. The office decor is nice, spacious and the staff are very friendly and professional.
