The room is really of European standard, has a bathtub, air conditioning and a balcony or terrace. There is a pool with sea views and also massage on site.
The hotel is very centrally located and you are right on the shopping street.

One star because the breakfast selection is not that good, we booked without breakfast the second time and preferred to go down the street to “Harry”.

Very great accommodation, except that the shower was slightly salty water, which I didn't care about (I didn't care so much when brushing my teeth

The hotel is located on Lamai beach, we took the villa which was stunning, the rooms are spotlessly clean, the street is quiet and there are many restaurants

I was 4 days at the Weekender Resort and I don't want to say that the hotel is totally bad!
But the rooms in the main building should
to be renovated! To put it mildly!
Nevertheless, it is a very nice facility!
The entrance hall, the pool area with breakfast room and pool bar, and also the fitness room and the meeting rooms!

was too expensive for me!
The staff was friendly and helpful!
I will definitely come again!

Stayed at this resort for over 3 months in their pool suite. When I left I accidentally forgot my expensive Muay thai shinguards, I told my gym who i arranged the accommodation with I soon as I realised (a day after), When I returned to the island several weeks later and was told they could not find them and were lost. Completely unacceptable behaviour towards a guest who occupied one of their most expensive suites while the rest of the hotel was more or less empty for 4 months. This completely changed my view of the hotel and their staff, entirely not trustworthy

Hygiene level was neglected. In 2 rooms we had a problem with the efficiency of the air conditioning. After reporting the problem, we were moved to another upgraded room. The problem with the air conditioning disappeared but the level of cleanliness of the bathroom was still low.

Beautiful hotel right at Lamai Beach and Lamai Beach road, lots of Restaurants of all kind, shops and massage shops (not those with happy end). Large Pool, my room could have more lighting but had a private pool. So I can recommend this place.

Great place to stay. Had a pool inside my room, which was used every day. Service was good too, cleaned the room everyday and restocked shampoo and soap as needed. The place is very clean as well. Right by the beach and also have a massage tent right by the beach as well. Only 300 baht. Will come again

We really enjoyed our stay here. We were with 2 kids who felt right at home. The staf is so friendly and helpful. The beach is gorgeous and the pool really nice and large. The rooms were tidy and cleaned every day. Everything works perfectly. Breakfast had more than enough to choose from. I would definitely recommend The Weekender to anyone.

The place has seen its better days.
We did book our stay to a standard room. It was located on the ground floor next to the lobby. There was a light that wasn't working and water on the floor. They did fix it strait away. But the noise at night. It sounded like we were just under a bus stop when it was raining outside. Early morning gardener sweeped next to our front door, and it sounded that he was sweeping next to our beds. So no sound proof at all.
I couldn't sleep, so we did ask for more private room on upper floors. The lady in the reception apologized and really did her best to make our stay better. We ended up upgrading our room to a superior room. It was better comparing to the first room. The tiling on the floor was loose and the wooden floor had suffered from the humidity. The varnish in the tables had gone bad and if you put anything hot on it, it would stain the table.
Just 2 hours before checking out from our room the power went out. It seem to be a regular power outage, but just before leaving our room we figure out that our phones were still charging. Apparently they did shut our electricity without any notice for some repairs. The fridge was running water to the floor. When we checked out, I told about this to the staff. She didn't understand anything that I said. So there wasn't any apologies at all.
The pool area would have been nice, but it was full of leaves and the sunbeds were ripped. The pool was missing tiles and sometimes the water was very dirty. There was a jacuzzi beds, but I bet they haven't worked for ages.
I think the location of the hotel have been excellent before covid, but at this point the area was quiet.
The hotel needs total renovation, so before that, I recommend that you pass this one.

Friendly staff. Hotel administration needs to get things in order for new guests…at reception lady didn’t find our booking…. Restaurant was closed including all room service and this was not specified on the booking website/total lack of organisation.
Pool was nice, rooms not bad and close to all amenities.

Clean, spacious room & bathroom. The staff is super helpful and nice! Great location, quick walk to Lamai Beach. Great value for the price.

Week ended bungalows not resort fantastic place top location and brilliant staff clean safe friendly what more do you need

The bungalow was dirty and a lot of insects in the room. So the price was too high for the condition of the house

A nice but little outdated resort. Pool is great. Breakfast buffet is super. Too bad that they do not make dining experience on the beach nicer. I would definitely book this for our groups.
