A very deserted looking temple. We were there all alone and were able to walk through the temple complex in peace and at the very end we discovered the house with the many Buddhas. Eerie silence and a mystical place. Not overcrowded at all and still an insider tip. It's good that this was in our travel guide, because the temple is a little out of the way, but the visit is worth it!

Largest temple in the south of Samui.
Many. Interesting things to discover there: oldest trr in Koh Samui, Jade Buddha, and a secret room that is the most amazing part of the visit.

Our most beautiful discovery quite by chance five years ago. We went back there yesterday. This tiny temple is timeless. There really reigns something mysterious… mystical? I still feel like these Buddhas are alive.

The Tempel is tiny but should be visited because is very impressive with all the Buddha statues in one small room.

Religious place.would recommend to act and dress appropriately. They do provide covering for small optional donation if the clothes are not appropriate.

Visited this place with my wife and 2 year old kid early in the morning. Would recommend to visit early before noon. The place was already starting to get hot around 11 in the morning. By visiting early, you beat the daily tour tourists and can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this religious place.

Wat Samret (which means "successful" in Thai). A quiet temple with more than 100 years of history, one of the oldest temples in Koh Samui.

Was told this is the oldest Temple on the island. We found it to be the least crowded. Amazing architecture. Bring bug spray. The dogs who reside here are friendly, and smart!
