Wat Pho reviews
7 I arrived at noon, according to the times indicated on the Internet and on the signs that lead there. After walking 30mins to reach this place, a woman tells me that it now only opens at 1am.
By the way, the price is 130 baht.
Spiritual.
Be positive. Be a real person. Do something good in the world. Help stop the cyber bullying.
Very impressive and worth seeing. Entry per person cost 200 baht.
The long Buddha is the heart of the complex. Man can circumnavigate this. On the back you can get a bowl with small coins for a donation of 20 baht.
Man throws these into the 108 bowls, which in turn is supposed to bring good luck.
The rest of the temples aren't in the best condition anymore, but they're worth a walk.
Best massage on the island! I have not tried the sauna but am highly impressed of the massage quality
Spiritual. Herbal sauna across the street. Best remedy for detoxification after the insanity of the full moon party.
สถานที่นี้เงียบสงบเหมาะสำหรับการปฎิบัติธรรมนั่งสมาธิสวดมนต์เจริญภาวนา
This is the main administrative temple on the island. A previous Abbott created a herbal sauna for the monks to use for health benefits. They use many different herbs which are steamed and funneled into two rooms, one male and another female. Its a highly recommended medicinal remedy. Now its been open to the public for years and is well developed.
