A place where zenitude reigns permanently. The view is breathtaking. Even the road to get there is so quiet that we think we are lost, thanks to GPS for guiding us.

I was lucky, when i visited it, it s only the Monk and me.
I could take time to visit him.

วัดที่ 55 เจดีย์รัตนโกสินทร์ ตลิ่งงาม เกาะสมุย สุราษฎร์ธานี

พระพุทธไสยาสน์ ปางปรินิพพาน ประดิษฐานอยู่บนแท่นยกสูงกลางแจ้ง มีฐานบัวคว่ำบัวหงายอีกชั้นหนึ่ง เส้นพระเกศาเป็นขีด ลืมพระเนตร พระหัตถ์แบข้างพระเศียร พระเศียรทับพระหัตถ์เล็กน้อย พระเขนยทำเป็นผ้าพับ จีวรพลิ้วสวย ปลายพระบาทซ้อนเสมอกัน ฝ่าพระบาททำเป็นวงดอกบัว และมีตารางมีวงกลมด้านในตารางกระจายทั่วพระบาท ทำก้นหอย 1 รอย ทุกนิ้วพระบาท ทุกส่วนขององค์พระนอนทำสีทอง ความยาว ประมาณ 9 เมตร พระนอนประดิษฐานอยู่หน้าพระเจดีย์ ทรงระฆังมีซุ้มหน้าบันประดิษฐานพระพุทธรูปขนาดเล็กด้านใน 4 มุม ฐานสี่เหลี่ยมย่อมุม เป็นฉากหลังให้พระนอนดูงามขึ้นด้วย
พระเจดีย์รัตนโกสินทร์แห่งนี้ ตั้งอยู่บนเขาสูง ทางขึ้นเขามาค่อนข้างชันและมีช่วงหักศอก ต้องใช้ความระมัดระวังในการใช้ยานพาหนะ ด้านบนจะมีลานจอดรถ และเดินขึ้นไปที่เจดีย์อีกไม่ไกล บนนี้นอกจากเป็นที่ประดิษฐานพระเจดีย์ พระนอนแล้ว ยังมีพระพุทธรูปอื่นๆ อีกหลายจุด รวมทั้งเป็นจุดชมวิวที่มองเห็นเกาะแตน และมุมมองของหาดบริเวณพระเจดีย์แหลมสอได้สวยอีกด้วย เมื่อลงจากพระเจดีย์รัตนโกสินทร์แล้ว สามารถแวะสักการะพระเจดีย์แหลมสอและรูปหลวงพ่อแดง ได้ด้วย

The Thai guide was perfect the temple is very beautiful the view is magnificent

A marvel at the top of a summit with a breathtaking view. Presence of a monk in deep meditation. Just magic. I sincerely recommend it. Please note that it is not accessible for people with reduced mobility. Do not forget your bottle of water it climbs steep but it's worth it

My favourite spot in Koh Samui so calm and beautiful. Amazing views and a lot of nice sculptures easy to get to.

วิวข้างบนสวยงาม มองเห็นทะเลเกือบรอบด้าน ลมเย็นสบาย มีเจดีย์ พระพุทธรูปองค์ใหญ่ และพระพุทธรูปองค์ขาวเรียงรายอีกมากมาย ทางขึ้นชันนิดนึง

Definately the best temple for sun set. You can enjoy the peace there and watching some big bird flying arround the temple. Or you can just sit there do meditation or read book.

Peaceful place for a rest! The view is wonderful! Make sure to have a bike with good power in it, otherwise go by foot from the steep rise.
