Wang Sao Thong Waterfall reviews
18 Not worth it, wouldn't even call the 2 'waterfalls' as such.
But at least no tourists here.
The waterfall is down a cool jungle trail unfortunately it is dirty and not as nice as I thought. Did not wanna swim there. There was a guy selling coconut but that was all there was to do here.
We gave 40 baht to park our motorcycles, and then the guy mentioned that there was 'very little waterfall right now'. Nice 5 min walk though.
Quite okay.
The path to the waterfall is signposted and reasonably paved. Really nice.
Unfortunately there was no water.
This may also be because every household here taps the water above the waterfall. The hoses and pipes are lying everywhere.
Not very nice.
The waterfall is dry now, the natural pool cannot be visited as some construction work is going on.
Zero stars, don't go, don't waste your 20 Baht on parking, if you've seen a filthy street gutter before then you've seen this 'Waterfall'.
Very nice waterfall, about a 5 to 10 minutes walk from the parking at the street. Another 5 minutes walk in the other direction goes to a small pool for swimming.
Definitely worth a stop.
After a 10minute walk through the jungle you‘ll be able to cool down in a small lagoon underneath the waterfall
Up in the hills, good access by car or motorbikes. Car Parking for 30 bt. From the parking there are 2 ways down to 2 waterfalls. The path to the right is more steep and narrow. The falls are not quite spectacular - after seeing them two I wousay: it's enough to climb one way down.
Disappointing. 100s of meters of walks on a difficult terrain led us to a tiny waterfall of 1-2 m. Maybe there is more beyond, but we did not risk our safety. Never again
Last time I was here, it was closed but when I came here before, I remembered the very beautiful nature, the trail leading to the waterfall and the small pool beneath the waterfall. Loved it! Hope it'll be accessible soon again!
Cute and easy accessable Waterfall. Only 250m to walk.usually they charge for parking but since there is covid nobody there.so free to park. The upper pool is perfect for a dip into, but not sure if in this.point.of the river clean enough.
Petite cascade facile d accès même en tong en faisant quand même attention parking 20baath a l entrée avoir mais rien d exceptionnel
Wouldn't call it a waterfall but it's a nice and small place to refresh after the hike towards it.
Came in early September and there was no 'fall' at the top. Nice walk through the forest mind you. Had a lovely ice cream and sit in the relaxing jungle view area by the car park.
Really nice walk and not too far to get to the waterfall but rather go to the second one off the track as you can get right up to it and cool down a bit. The natural pool is nice to see but would not swim in it as we saw a snake swimming in it. Beautiful little rest area at the start with a tiny little bar where you can buy a drink. Park the scooter for 20 Baht
Enjoy the bar close to the "waterfall" at least you will have the feeling that you came for something.
If you keep your expectations low, then this place is ok for a short visit.not too much water in the dry season, but a nice natural setting with rocks and forest.no entrance fee, only pay 20 baht for motorbike parking, or 30 baht for a car.snacks and drinks available, and free WiFi!
