Wang Sai Resort

This place is exceptional. We've been staying there several times over the last 3 years and always had an excellent stay: the beach and the swimming pool are beautiful and very well maintained, there are many trees to provide shadow and a lush natural environment with many birds, there is some excellent snorkeling to do off the shore, the bungalows are comfy and the restaurant is very good (and proposes many vegetarian alternatives to classical Thai dishes). One of our favorite places for dream vacation in Thailand.

Our stay was so perfect that we had to extend it The bungalows were clean and equipped with everything you need. Water was provided every day and requests were made for any cleaning. The location is fantastic, everything is extremely lovingly designed and the staff is so welcoming that you hardly want to leave - simply paradise. Anyone who makes negative comments here should be clear about the price segment in which they booked. You can hardly wait for more!

Such a lovely find, we had a hut on the beach, which was very comfortable. The location was perfect - right on the sand. The Thai food in the beach bar was absolutely gorgeous (although a bit disappointing the second time we ate there). The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend if you are looking for a quiet beach stay.

Why do you think that serving black spoiled avocado is normal? I tried to ask stuff to change it they persuaded me it is the normal avocado you serve.

Beautiful, rather secluded resort with a lovely beach bar that serves delicious food and drinks, accompanied by good music and friendly service. Unfortunately, the sea was a bit rocky, which requires some caution, especially with children. The bungalows with sea views were attractive and clean. However, the bathroom urgently needs renovation as mold and yellowed toilets are a problem. Nevertheless, we accepted these shortcomings because of the great atmosphere of the place. There are three lovely street dogs living in the beach area of ​​the resort, which we hold dear and have provided them with food and water. In general, I appeal to everyone who travels to places where street dogs live to at least provide these animals with water - please continue to do so at Wang Sai Resort! The dogs are very grateful for every kindness!
Conclusion: we would come back!

Best place for a relaxing holiday! Best snorkling spot right outside your door and the food was outstanding.we definitely come back!

Beautiful place albeit slightly away from the main scene. We rented scooters and explored the island which was amazing.

We are staying at the resort next door but we come here twice a day because the food is AMAZING! The hospitality and the staff are incredible! We love the food but come back to hang out with the friendly staff. Love this place! The vibe of the restaurant is really cute and the bungalows look nice too.

The deluxe poolside rooms were modern, peaceful and well equipped. The food at the beachside bar was great, especially the massaman curry. The lady on reception was friendly and accommodating. The location is generally quite quiet but its perfect for a quiet few days on Koh Phangan

Wang Sai Resort is an amazing place to stay at Koh Phangan. You get to see Maehaad beach which is 1 minute walk from the resort. What else one can wish for? The place is full of natural environment. Apart from that, their service is excellent and customer friendly.

Need to improve their restaurant service including serving food with good condition crockeries.

My partner and I stayed at this resort for 2 weeks last month. We agreed that this is one of the best resorts we’ve ever stayed at in our lives. We got awesome hospitality, we felt warm and welcoming. The owners and staffs were really nice. The view was stunning. One of the days, my partner went for a walk in the morning after heavy rain, he saw the staffs were cleaning the beach and all the garbage that came with the wind. That was impressive! You can see the beach is always clean and nice. It's so relaxing to just sit and chill by the beach bar. We had many meals at the resort as we could randomly pick things and they just tasted good. We’ll definitely go back

For your security stay away from this hotel! We faced huge disappointments:
- No room cleaning during 5 days
- The shower wasn’t properly working (very weak flow which made it almost impossible to shower properly)
- The flush button of the toilet broke down so we couldn’t flush the toilet any longer
- They keep a bird into a small cage full of excrements
- And above all when we complained about this to the owner, her daughter interrupted the discussion in the most aggressive way. She screamed a lot, didn’t listen to us and attacked my friend by throwing him a bottle of water on the knee while she could see for sure that he was wounded (due to a motorbike accident). Then she ran at him sticking her forehead against his and oddly threatening to call the police! We thought we were in a movie and we would wake up, but that was real… it’s a shame that the mother didn’t say anything to her crazy daughter. We are really shocked and will complain on Booking, we cannot let this people treat customers in a such way (we saw others comments which confirm our concerns).

The perfect holiday location!
This place is absolutely magical - we went there for 3 nights, but liked it so much that we extended our stay. The staff (especially Mickey and the beach restaurant crew) are incredibly friendly, the food is amazing with very reasonable prices.
Roomwise we had the pool bungalows which were the newest one's and everything was perfect there. Besides of the lovely pool area - there's a very nice reef just in front of the hotel beach for snorkeling.
Definitely will come back again!

Nice family stay, the bungalow we got was a bit outdated however the sunset view was just amazing

Wonderful Resort on one of Phanghan's most beautiful beaches. Best place for snorkeling with a still amazing reef next to Koh Mah, tiny island just next to the beach. Very friendly and helpful staff. The superior bungalows are right on the beach. Newly built bungalows right next to the pool.

Great resort, one of my favorites on Koh Phangan. The walk to Koh Maa was nice but not as nice as I imagined. The room itself was awesome. Massages on the beach are fairly priced, not a rip off like other beaches. Go check out Nam Tok Wangsai (Wangsai Waterfall), 5 minutes away. I 100% would stay again.

I stayed there for 2 night and It was great experience. The location of the resort is perfect! Right on the beach with an amazing view. It take you a few step from your room to the beach, also have a nice pool in the resort.
Room is clean and comfy bed.best place for relaxing.
Staff were really friendly and super helpful. I asked them for taxi and boat ticket and one girl there also help me fixed my plan.
Would love to go there again!
