Had a fantastic stay at the W! Excellent location and facilities.
Fantastic coktails, and delicious buffet breakfast.

W Koh Samui left me speechless with its mesmerizing views and extraordinary cocktails. The combination of a perfect sunset and expertly crafted drinks deserves a solid 5 out of 5 rating!

The stunning vistas at the resort took my breath away. Watching the sun dip below the horizon was a truly awe-inspiring moment that I had never experienced before.

The cocktails served at W Koh Samui were exceptional. Each drink was a masterpiece of flavors, showcasing the talent and creativity of the mixologists. I couldn’t resist trying more of their unique creations.

The overall ambiance of the resort was remarkable, complemented by the friendly and attentive staff who made our visit even more special.

For an unforgettable experience, I highly recommend visiting W Koh Samui. It’s the perfect place to indulge in delicious cocktails while being captivated by the breathtaking views.

A modern decor hotel with young hip vibe. Had cocktails by the upperfloor pool during sunset and then a pride pool party at night at the lower floor. The upper floor had great views. Pride party was a lot of fun. Great vibes.

Beautiful property. Rooms and the view are incredible here. The only down side is the distance from chewang. Other then that there is no going wrong with this property.

Warning! Stunning hotel though! And a big but if you have a mistake in the order/problem, don't expect the hotel to consider you! It's just a beautiful hotel, nothing more! We made a reservation, got the date wrong and had to cancel one night, did we see the money back? Definately not. With all due respect to the 5 stars they have, they only know how to take money. Sorry but not worth the money. For 20,000 baht per night, you can go get a room in any other hotel that will provide 10 times better service than what we got there. After a month in Thailand, I can say unequivocally that this is the worst hotel I have ever been to.you have been warned.

Beautiful property with stellar service. The breakfast buffet is to die for. The coconut water is the sweetest coco unit ever. Beach is a little rocky so west water shoes.

Good balance of amenity and price. Love their sweet spot where you can get unlimited ice creams. The beach is kinda dirty as the ocean brings trash… overall great hotel and villa

Went for the bunch. Best on the island. Good service, good food and access to the pool afterwards

The stay and everything was good. But when i called at 2 AM for food they denied and they said they have closed the restaurant they close at 11. Being a 7 star hotel i expected they would serve food at night. And the staff also doesn’t understand english properly. Very bad on W. Had more expectations from W

Great experience at W. My first trip to Thailand, visiting from Australia, had some time after a conference in Bangkok. I have never encountered such friendly attentive staff - was treated like family. I was in a one bedroom villa with ocean view. Very spacious, lots of storage, closet space, work desk. Good size TV screen (though couldn't cast from my phone/of). Massive bathroom with indoor and outdoor rainforest showers, free-standing bath-tub. Entire villa has stunning views across the straight to Ko Pha Ngan (Samui's sister island to the north), across the private infinity pool. Short walk to beach where kayaks etc for hire. Breakfast buffet superb with more friendly, relaxed but never intrusive service. Well equipped very clean gym and pool. Hire scooter was easy to organise - delivered to resort. Highly recommended. I'm trying hard to give a balanced review - only minor improvement I can think of is just a little more water pressure for showers would be nice. Staff totally calm and patient even when I got cranky about AUD / BHT exchange rate on check-out.
Beautiful resort, can't praise staff enough, special thanks to Mac (shuttle to and from room - great source of local knowledge) and Alex for taking care of me each day in breakfast buffet. Can't wait to visit again. Would be a perfect honeymoon location!

This placed made my stay at Koh Samui.which.as you may know is not the most happening island.but. OHHH finding this stunning hotel was amazinggg! The lobby, the views, the villa.even tho the sand at the beach was a bit weird. I totally recommend it! <3

Extravagant in every way. There is a fantastic view from just about everywhere on this resort. We stayed in an Ocean view escape and I feel it was well worth the upgrade. Wow wow wow

Our stay has been absolutely special and memorable.
The entire staff is amazingly friendly, welcoming and supportive in each and every situation.
The ambiance of the hotel is outstanding and the property very well maintained. We stayed in the room category Jungle Oasis and loved the private pool deck.
The beach feels like a small paradise with hammocks under palm trees, day beds, bean bags and a fabulous bar.
This is a place to leave everything behind and forget about the rest of the world.
Fisherman’s Village which is a great place with restaurants, bars and night markets is just a ten minutes taxi ride away and there are frequent hotel shuttles to Chaweng.
We will come back!

Amazing luxury hotel the service, the breakfast, the rooms, everything was more than expected, the only downside to this hotel is that you have to take taxi for everywhere cause it is far from the main streets.

The hotel offer was excellent, it was easy to book and I booked and paid. I booked a villa for over $8000 for 6 nights. Unfortunately due to work commitments I needed to change the dates to one week earlier. I notified them around 49 days prior to the dates. There was confusion changing the dates. As a result no change occurred as emails passed between the hotel, myself and luxury escapes. I get the sense the people are genuinely nice but I was after great service and would have happily payed extra (my time with family is important to me) to change the dates. I have stayed at W hotels all over the world - New York, San Francisco, Florida, Bali to name just a few. I choose them as it’s always was about service and not money. Subsequently after complaining they have refunded to the booking agent. I am very greatful for their refund and will ask the booking agent to donate $1000 of it to a charity active in their area.

Wow wow the best hotel that i was in my life.
I am have a travel agent company and travel a lot in my life for work.
I visited a lot of hotels and i can say that W is the best hotel that i was in my life.
Whatever Whenever is not only a slogen it is what they do to all ther guests.
Thanks for the four amazing days that we hade.
One more thing my wife had her birthday during our stay all the employees when they met us know that is her birthday thats one of the things that make this a super great hotel to be.

Here's my review of the place during my vacation period.

Pros:

- Villa is spacious and have a lot of amenities included in the package. You have your own pool and the bed is comfy.

- Most staff are friendly especially the housekeeping staff but there are a few which were not so accommodating.

- All the restaurants were good except for one which I will get to it below.

- The W hotel is located on a piece of land which gives really fantastic views.

- Sweet Spots.which offers free flow of ice cream and fizzy drinks is a definite goodie on my list.

Cons:

- Some staff were not so helpful in giving tips on where to dine outside and the hotel does not help you to ring a local taxi like other Marriott/Starwood properties normally do so you have to take their own transport.

- The pool has some dangerous spots like sharp corners and very very rough surface so you will definitely loose some skin and bleed if you are not careful.

- The Beach Grill food lineup is terrible. You can dine at any other locations but avoid this place. I ordered grill prawns but what came was something akin to pan fried tiny prawns.

- The beach looks nice but the texture of the sand is very rough so your feet will ache if you walk bare footed.

- Mosquitoes everywhere.maybe the property can do more frequent fogging.dengue is definitely a risk.

Exceptional! What a service! Staffs are friendly, impeccable with minor little details that constantly impressed you!
