Villas Del Sol

We spent 4 nights at Villa Eliana and were impressed with the service, the view and the hard working staff. The rooms are very clean and you feel very welcome. For me, a place that you will definitely visit again.

Walking through the port of Ko Tao, we are struck by the scent of the Cafè del Sol pizza. We ask for a place for 4 people and in a few minutes we are seated at our table, where a polite and super helpful waiter serves us. We order tomato bruschetta as an appetizer and 4 pizzas. We close with 2 tiramisu to share. All exquisite. The right solution for those who want to find some Italian flavors on the island of Ko Tao. Thanks a lot Robert!

Small negatives, the bed is hard, the big gas hob doesn't work well and it would have been a little extra if there were tissues in the bathroom but otherwise it's really great. I recommend with eyes closed

We stayed a week in the smallest of all villas, the Solana. The view is really breathtaking. The journey too, but I had no problems with a scooter, even with two people. The equipment is great. It's really quiet there too. The pool is super tempered and there is enough space in the villa. There is a star deduction for the really hard bed and the air conditioning, these could work a little quieter and more effectively. All in all, we would definitely come back. Any inquiries are taken care of via WhatsApp.

A secluded place. There is no beach nearby. Under the mountain there is a paid beach of other hotels.there is no direct passage, you need to walk on the water. Otherwise, everything is super and everything is in the villa.

Normally you shouldn't talk about such pearls so that no one knows about them and they don't get flooded, but the villa was a dream!

Really torn here between leaving an honest review, or trying to put people off from coming!

Just had 3 days in Koh Tao staying at Villas del Sol & really, none of us wanted to leave. Such a beautiful location, fantastic service from Jeab who was always on hand to answer our silly questions & one of the nicest taxi drivers you’ll ever meet to ferry you around the island. And the hills, oh my word the hills! The road up to it hits 45% in places so be prepared to hold on It’s a 5min walk down to Shark Bay where there’s amazing snorkelling about 100m off the beach where we saw turtles & yes, sharks!

Although no bar or anything on site there are fantastic options for delivery nearby & it’s a great place to chill with a bit of isolation after the craziness of Samui & Phangnan. Order a delicious pizza from the French Market restaurant, grab a beer from the fully stocked mini bar & stick a movie on Netflix if you want to get away from it all. Otherwise do what we did & swim in to the night then go to Sairee! Not many Mozzies up there either which is nice.

All in all we (a family of 4, kids of 10 & 13) totally fell in love with Koh Tao & Villas del Sol played a big part in that. We’ll be back but for much longer next time

3 villa resort with incredible views. Short (steep) walk to shark bay. Villa del Sol has its own cafe in town that delivers. Not too many dining options within walking distance so car/motorbike is recommended. Last 50m of street prior to resort is incredibly steep, not for beginner riders.

Absolutely stunning view (villa Eledora). Villa was basic but nice and comfortable. Easy to oder great food and drink from their partner restaurant and all are delicious! Service and cleanliness need to be improved a bit. Overall, a happy place to be in Koh Tao.

Very nice hotel in a great location with an infinity pool. We were there for 10 days and enjoyed every day. Tom the manager was always friendly and helpful. The service is nice and courteous, the kitchen very clean and the breakfast extremely tasty. The rooms are spacious, clean and the bathrooms are more of a European standard. A great diving school called Divewishes works together with the hotel, which is very practical as you are picked up for diving and brought back again. We will definitely book our next vacation with Villas del sol. Many thanks to the entire team for the unforgettable time.

What an incredible find. Hard to put into words what a truly magical place this is. Quite possibly the most memorable and tranquil vacation I have ever had.

I want to share my great experience with the owner of Villas Del Sol Jip. I booked the villa half year ago, and had to cancel my reservation due to Covid-19. I had to pay the cancellation fee. I contacted Jip and he waived this fee.
Really great service! Will definetely come to Villas Del Sol at my first opportunity!

Amazing location, view and great apartments. Hard to find a better picture perfect 'tropical' getaway! Bit of a slog to walk anywhere but easy to organise taxis and the owners are super helpful in sorting anything out. Highly recommended!

Superb villa with a breathtaking view. No easy access but Gilbert drives you everywhere. We did not dare to drive our own scooter because the streets are really steep. Therefore we spend our time mostly in the beautiful villa.

Try Eagle View Restaurant around the corner on top of the hill. Excellent food by a local family and a breathtaking view over shark bay for free.
