Tropical Palm Resort and Spa

The owner Günther is very friendly and accommodating, we got along well. The room was absolutely clean, it was cleaned every day. There was also a fridge, a kettle and the AC worked perfectly. The property was also great. A clean and beautiful pool with lots of sun loungers. The city center can be reached by scooter in a few minutes, but can also be reached on foot. We were able to go for a relaxed jog in this area for the first time in Asia, as you can simply walk down the street into the countryside. We were able to easily rent the scooter from Günther for 250 baht per day. We also enjoyed using the free pool table in the rainy weather:) Thank you for everything, we felt completely comfortable and looked after.

I loved my stay here. The room was really comfortable, with good AC, perfect wifi and cleaning everyday. There’s even a television with Netflix. The resort has a nice pool, a bar, a cute dog and you can have breakfast. Best of the place was the new owner Günther, who runs the place with lots of positivity and enthusiasm and makes sure the guests have nothing more to wish for. He even went out and bought an extra power cord for me so I could work comfortably. Thank you for everything Günther!

We can recommend the hotel without reservation the owner Günther is very welcoming and helpful and organized a scooter for us and informed us about the possibilities for the onward journey. The location is just perfect. It's nice and quiet and you can still get to the beach, cafes or restaurants quickly by scooter or on foot. The hotel complex is super nice, the pool invites you to linger and the dog is just the cutest! The rooms all have a balcony and are very clean. The air conditioning works great and there was room service every day. We would come back and wish Günther and his family all the best:)

Nice clean quiet place. Nice chap running it. Probably far enough out the back to earn a slightly lower price. Think its only ever popped up in my usual searches once

We had a very wonderful stay at the Tropical Palm. The owner Guenther welcomed us warmly and arranged everything better than we could ever expected. Since we've been backpacking through Thailand, our plans were not quit fix. So it happend that we extended our stay spontainiusly from 3 nights to 5. The brackfast was just too fantastic with the nice spiced eggs and the fresh fruits (really worths the 200 Baht). Motorbikes are also available and ready for some island adventures. And if you want to relax you can just chill in and at the pool, cuddle and play with the cute dog or chat with other travellers, or Guenther who has also an interesting life story and is happy to share it.

Very nice accomodation in lamai. Quiet (no street noises at night) with pool and breakfast. Very good price-value.
New owner, very friendly.

It was a few years ago, but I remember that this resort was so clean and nice. There was a female employee who could speak Korean, and while I was lying on the sunbed, she worried about my sunburn and brought me fresh aloe. The meal was delicious and the owner was helpful when renting a motorbike. I've been raising a dog for 10 years, but everything was good except that the dogs nearby were very intimidating.

Nice and quiet place. Nice staff, ok room, good shower, nice pool.
You ll need a scooter to get out and about, and honestly lamai is not my cup of tea.but thats a matter of taste. Go to mae nam for example, much more relaxed vibe.

Strange place. Something is good, other things are not. Looks like some family hosting with prices like in a hotel. Too much for an old loud a/c and for the lack of a normal cook.

Great location very close to Lamai center and quiet. It's got all you need! Friendly staff and good value for money. You won't be disappointed.

Nice and quiet, a haven of peace away from the noisy main roads. Small swimming pool, pool table, a few books, well-appointed rooms. New French owner will go out of her way to please her customers, and upgrade everything.

Best experience we had in Koh Samui! What an amazing surprise:) we discovered the place on our last 3 nights on the island and we wish we could have stayed there our entire week!
The place is surrounded by nature, close enough by scooter to the beach! Our room had a balcony facing the pool and it was spacious, clean and with a great bed! The pool area is charming also for an evening swim
We had breakfast included in our amazingly affordable price so we could enjoy fresh croissants
One of the best parts of our stay- the owner! She is french and she takes such good care of every one of her guests it made a fun ambiance!
