Tiki Beach Koh Phangan

Laid back, homey hotel on the beach. Feels very secluded. Super friendly staff and volunteers that are around to hang out and help as needed. Can walk right into the water. Awesome cocktails at the beach bar. Our hotel room had some spiders and ants because we kept food in there (which they specifically say not to!) but it’s to be expected

Australian volunteers gave us great info, other staff was nice enough. Although they booked us a transport to our next location through “Phagnan tour” was completely unorganized, sketchy, and ran significantly behind schedule. Rooms were average but none of the doors and windows closed fully which led to tons of bugs and insects in the room. Power and wifi was on and off. Pretty chill atmosphere, definitely for younger crowds. Great view and location!

Tiki Beach is always an incredible experience! The staff will have you feeling right at home. The rooms are freshly renovated, very comfortable and inviting. One of the highlights for me is the incredible sunset beach view. The bar is lively and the bar tenders are very sweet. And the kitchen has you covered! They have all sorts of delicious food but the burger is a must try.

One of the best places to stay in Koh Phangan. Rooms are very clean, the food is delicious, staff super nice. Definitely recommend.

Had an amazing time staying at Tiki beach! Great value for money, staff are lovely! Great spot, there is a scooter rentals next to the entrance on the road! Definitely will be back!

The room was really big. Good AC. Big nice pool right in front of the amazing beach view, that’s the biggest pro to this place. The staff was nice and in general very cosy and family atmosphere. They have nice smoothie bowls but quite expensive. They are also pretty in to recycling etc.but for me sometimes felt kinda cheap on AC (turned it off everytime they made the room). In addition very important to say, biggest con would be the shower! The water pressure was really weak and had really bad rotten kind of smell (we are still in Thailand) but not expected from an hotel. I would recommend checking the shower right as you enter (actually smelling the water, making sure it’s warm, and good pressure- generally in Thailand hotels that is a good tip!) aside from that, the location is good for relaxing and feeling in a piece of heaven but less for feeling centered… it’s not the best era for koh phangan in general I would recommend getting in tiki like 1-2 nights enjoy the nice pool on the beach and than do 2 nights at the haadrin pier at full moon dates and then finish with koh phangan

This place was really good to sleep, chill, get some good food and lovely drinks. Their menu is very diverse with a lot of good choices. The rooms were clean and the utilities were neat. They over a lot of activities which is nice if you travel alone to meat some new people. The staff is super relaxed and nice. You can choose if you want a beach or pool day, but you can also choose both. Long story short a beautiful place with so many great offers! Will come back for this place!

Everything! The staff, facilities, rooms, activities were all world class. If you’re coming to Koh Phangan Tiki hostel is a must! It provides the perfect chilled balanced atmosphere and I cannot recommend It highly enough for backpackers. Cheers to all the staff involved with making it a memorable stay!

A super fun place to stay with opportunities to meet people from all over the world. There’s always some event going on in the evenings. The members of staff are so lovely you feel like you’re leaving family when checking out. I would definitely stay again if I return to the island.

Very comfortable bed, air-con working well, and the room was cozy and clean. Important to mention that the shower has hot water (not all accommodations offer that on Thai islands). Breakfast was not included. It was pricey, but totally worth it. Laundry service is available and at a very low price. The staff was friendly and helpful. Tasty drinks offered at the bar, where you can watch the sunset every day.

Right in the beach, nice rooms with balconies and quite area to hang. Nice pool and bar, few minutes away from the city

I really feel at home here because of the friendly staff (all of them!) they are so relaxed just as the vibe here. I like their menu card and they have many vega (n) options.
They renovate many things in the rooms and it is really quiet at night when we are chilling at the balcony. They also have an outdoor gym and many things to do at the bar.

Couldn't ask for more. The staying was perfect. You always have activities, and the hostel is also chill and also full with people in good vibe.
The stuff is perfect, very very nice and helpful.

Bring Cash - Cash Only Location!
Great place, nice and clean fun outgoing staff that will assist you with feeling at home while you stay here - short walk to town, and on the beach and you can hear the waves at night.

Great bungalow, very clean, staffs were friendly, ban tai beach was great for sunsets as well. We got lucky enough to see bioluminescent algae after a night out when we went in for a dip.

Super friendly staff and nice to be by the beach, rooms are definitely a bit on the older side now but we paid very little so that's OK.

This place is probably a good option for backpackers or those who don’t expect/need any frills. The location is on a quiet beach and the pool is well maintained. The staff (Joe and Gam) are very nice, they really do their best and they’re fun to talk to.
I would HIGHLY suggest that travellers bring their own:
- Mosquito net and string (to keep out all the small and bigger bugs!)
- Reusable water bottle (they don’t provide cups nor complimentary water bottles but they have a water cooler in the common area so you can fill up. It’s very good they’re being environmentally friendly.)
- Shampoo and shower gel/soap (none provided)
Other things to note: the beds are very simple and you can feel the springs. Also, the AC only works sometimes. We are sensitive sleepers so these were issues for us.

Perfect spot to base yourself on the island. The staff make this place feel like home - they're all so genuinely warm and friendly. Stayed for just over five weeks and would happily stay more. Make sure you try the Burmese Salad.
