The Worlds End reviews
33 Best Breakfast in this area. Probably best pancakes I ever had. My boyfriend and I were here everyday. They have lots of vegan and gluten free options too.
Smoothies are very delicious.
Cappuccino is one of the most delicious in the area! Nice view of the pier. If you miss a European coffee shop, this is the place for you.
I cannot speak more highly of the owner and this venue. As someone with Coeliac disease travelling in Thailand has been tricky, but I read a few reviews recommending this place and I am so glad they did. The owner is a coeliac herself and talked me through all the options I could have, including the gluten free panini's and wraps that she makes herself. I made my own falafel sandwich and it was one of the best meals I've had while travelling here over the past three weeks. She also gave me some recommendations for other places to go to for dinner and where I could find gluten free soy and oyster sauce.
It was a wonderful experience at this cafe and one I wish I had discovered on my first day on the island instead of my last!
The staff is very friendly and kind BUT
Very hot in the cafe
The chocolate was not very tasty, so diluted.
Some pancakes were undercooked, ordered with blueberries, they are not fresh, but frozen.
It's not tasty
I had my morning espresso here every day (best espresso on the island) and it looks out on to the peir so you can wake up watching the comings and goings. Breakfasts are european style but excellent quality and size. The pancakes and full english are very good and they are happy to substitute one thing for another if you like. The staff are friendly and give the place a nice laid back atmosphere.
Cannot say more than ok. Highlight is the eggs and bacon breakfast for 200THB; a massive breakfast for relatively cheap. For the rest, nothing to be amazed about in my view. Long term expats tend to meet there in the morning, always crowded with English folks mainly, not my kind of place, but it's always crowded and it's been there forever.
Really friendly staff and good food!
We had quesadillas and burritos with fruit shakes - totally recommend this restaurant
Coeliac heaven! The Swedish owner is a coeliac herself and they bake their own gluten free bread, Worcestershire sauce, and they’re careful make things strictly gluten free in the kitchen so I could even have a burger and chips and pancakes for a change, unheard of for me while travelling!
So far we’ve been back most days and had banana pancakes, smoothies, eggs Benedict, burger and chips, gf chocolate brownie and loved all of it, as did my partner who is not gluten free. Everything is delicious!
One day last week we came here and in the meantime it is a fixed routine to start the day here. The location is super relaxed with direct views of the pier and the sea. The food is super fresh and incredibly tasty. Once you start with the pancakes and Eggs Benedict, it's hard to ever choose anything else, but everything that came out of the kitchen looked really delicious. We will miss you guys in Germany very very much.
Hands-down the best place for having breakfast on the island and/or planet. The eggs benedict are amazing, as are the pancakes.
Great place, all the dishes are excellent. We recommend the Peninies. Many Gluten Free options, but this place is great for everyone. We will definitely come back
Local restaurant to breakfast or grab some snack. It is full of people at any time of the day. We took the quiche and was fantastic.
Great experience here. Lotta, the owner, is a celiac and makes her bread in house. Amazing! Super gluten free friendly and a nice spot for western breakfast.
Delicious food, many options and good service. Honestly pretty well priced for the quality of their food. Would go back in a heart beat!
I'm not sure if these other reviews have ever had a burger before because I'm 100% sure that whoever made ours has not. It was rock hard, dense, dry and unappealing in almost every other way. Got a panini as back up. Also a mistake although slightly better than the burger. They did have all alright fruit shake though.
Lovely staff, specracular and varied food. An awesome stop if you are riding around the island.
The “bestest” English breakfast I’ve ever had in my life. One of the reasons why I want to get back to Phangan. Ask for eggs benedict, too)
Great vegan cheesecake food is good but service not the best they had some attitude, obviously the staff don't like to break from their routine any small request was met with resistance.smokers are allowed to smoke anywhere. It's disgusting. Very much a scuba bum hangout.
Our favorite brunch spot on the island. We come every year and it never disappoints. Wonderful friendly staff and delicious food and drinks.
More than 100 gluten free options all made by the owner. A must stop if you have a gluten free dieet (also when you dont). Today we had a great lunch. Tomorrow we will start our day at the worlds end:)
