The Spa Resorts

I booked and fully paid online and when I got there they told me that they were fully booked and could not accommodate me. That was understandable but making me wait almost two hours just to tell me this was ridiculous. They also said that they would grab my luggage when I initially reached and when I looked around I noticed it wasn’t there, I saw that they just left out on the street. I’m glad that I didn’t end up staying here too many red flags.

The Restaurant: until maybe a year ago, the restaurant was best for vegan on the island, and worth going out of your way for. But, not anymore. Tasting ordinary now, nothing special. Juices and drinks still good though.

Review of Spa, Sauna, and Restaurant:

My visit to this spa, sauna, and restaurant had a rocky start but ended on a somewhat positive note. We initially came in for a steam room session, but it turned out to be a letdown. The steam room wasn't turned on as promised, and we had to complain to get it activated. Once it was on, they seemed to crank it up to the max, making me feel like a chicken in a steamer, anxiously waiting for the timer to go off.

The location of the steam room itself was a bit odd, situated next to a busy street, so instead of soothing spa music, you're treated to the constant sound of passing vehicles. On the bright side, the restaurant is beachside, offering a fantastic ambiance.

Now, let's talk about the tea – it took quite a while to arrive, and getting a refill meant making the trek to the staff. On a more positive note, the food was quite enjoyable, with the coconut ice cream standing out. In fact, the coconut ice cream alone earns this place an extra star from me. Even though they might not make it themselves, they're wise enough to have it on the menu.

Overall, I wouldn't return for the steam room experience, but I'd definitely come back for that delightful coconut ice cream. If you're seeking a better steam room option, there's one right next door that's 50 baht cheaper, though you'll have to forgo the heavenly coconut ice cream there.

Very bad experience, there was only one person at the front desk in the afternoon, she kept calling and made us wait for a long time, and did not provide a welcome drink, the air conditioner did not work on the first night, there was no air conditioner remote control in the room and no staff on duty, hot We couldn't sleep all night. The cleaning of the room was quite sloppy, and the room was not cleaned at all on the third day. Although we hung the signboard for cleaning the room outside the door when we went out, we returned to the room at night without any cleaning and tidying! ! ! !

The hotel, facilities and staff were great!
A little on the slow side - but we were OK with it.
The only downside was that when we were there (July), the beach didn't have any water during the day, only at night

- Bathing is impossible on the beach
- the main street hardly lets you sleep at night + construction noise from the neighboring property
- Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired
- Windows cannot be closed completely
- Toilet is in the shower cubicle

The menu and selection was incredible. What we ordered at the restaurant were delicious and we still want to try everything. The room is super cozy and the staff were friendly and polite.

'The Spa Resorts' - 'The Beach' on this amazing tropical island of #kohsamui is a great place to rest, relax and enjoy life in a simple, yet luxurious way.

We couldn't believe, when we saw the entire #rawvegan menu!
Except for raw vegan, there is an entire fasting menu.
As we are raw vegan and do fasting on a daily base, we wanted to check other healthy options like vegan and organic, homemade vegetarian products.

#Massage was just glorious.
Heaven achieved.
Seriously

Sea views from our villa, gigantic jacuzzi, and the kindest staff for who 'no', is NOT the answer.

Very good experience. Initially we went to the other spa resort in the jungle but it was not well maintained after COVID and completely empty with no service. We required to be relocated to the spa resort at the beach which was granted without any issue. Very nice design of the rooms, nice small beach as well with the boats.

I was there ten years ago and I loved the holistic approach to mental and physical health. But with the resort renovated and revamped it now has an additional touch of luxury, making the experience even more special. The Radiance Restaurant still is and always will be just divine!

Actually stayed here 20 years ago and was pleasantly surprised to see how much it had changed. I loved it then but think they did a great job on the Reno. Food is still top notch and has best healthy menu I've seen on the island yet.

I cant comment on the hotel here but I can on the restaurant. Me and my wife lived opposite here for a year and we used to come for a treat. I can Highly recommend the brown rice salad! If you only eat one thing, it has to be the brown rice salad!

Years on we are both miles away still thinking about it! We took the recipe away with us but are unable to create it with the balance that these guys do.

This place is now just a hole in the ground as it is being rebuilt from scratch. Be aware hotel booking companies are still trying to sell rooms here. It is closed, does not exist, be warned Photos taken 23/5/19

This place is SO not worth the money. Terrible management, noisy and a bit dirty.surprising right? I cannot see why would anyone choose this place when there are many better more beautiful options nearby. Badly needs renovation (looks rundown and smells funny) and the even worse the management is surprisingly unfriendly and narrow minded. Rooms are be noisy as they have very thin walls. On a positive note, location is relatively convenient and easy to find.

One of my favorite restaurant of all time! Amazing vegan food, salads, raw lasagne and deserts. A little more expensive that most local places. They also do a good detox program that I did for 7 days.

Das Spa Resort ist eher ein Ruhiger Ort für Ältere Herrschaften.
Die Bungalows sind Traumhaft schön und der Strandabschnitt zum verlieben. Jedoch war das Personal eher unaufmerksam und die anderen Besucher Ü 50. Die Bar schließt schon um 21.00 Uhr. Die Preise im Restaurant eher gehoben.

Just stayed here and cut my visit short! New management has driven this place DOWN in every way. No longer the meeting place it once was. No longer finding the quality treatments, food, guests or detox programs. Most of knowledgeable staff have departed and guests have deserted this place. It kind reminds me of The Shining - a super creepy place, completely run down by inexperienced front desk. Never again!
And to top it off - they doubled the prices for everything.

Hier kriegt man die besten smoothies und sehr feines Essen. Die Bedienung ist ok, ich bin hier nur Gast im Restaurant am Morgen in der Früh, man erkennt auf dem Foto sehr die Ebbe.

If you are after amazing healthy food at an affordable rate, look no further.

Spa Samui is my preferred option every time I am lucky enough to be in Ko Samui Island.

If you interested in Cleansing and fasting of the body, the place has a proven process and system to guide you through this.

It's learning by doing with no fluff, also at a very competitive price.

Staff were Great! But the food was really bland, ordered massaman curry and chilli basil stir-fry, neither had anywhere near the flavours they should have had, followed up with a tasty, small, pricey fresh-fruit shake and a hot chocolate that tasted like it was made with some chocolate powder, hot water and a sprinkle of milk. Nice looking restaurant however I probably won't be going back: (.
