The Rolling Pin reviews
17Great Italian cuisine at Koh Phangan (the chef is Italian and the pasta is homemade) The Tagliatelle con Tartufo e Funghi were increíble
Grazie Andrea for an amazing dinner.
Only place for authentic homemade pasta and great wine selection.
The best pasta on the island
If you want authentic Italian cuisine in Koh Phangan, I highly recommend The rolling pin! In other places, there were cases where the food was a mess even if you paid a lot of money, but here you don't have to worry.
The chef here is truly Italian, and he cooks well (even when locals cook, there are times when the taste isn't great). Be kind again!) Anyway, highly recommended!
Arriving late we were well received. The dishes were incredible!
If you like paws you will be dazzled! I recommend it 1000 times!
Molto bene sehr empfehlenswert. Essen war hervorragend gut und besser als so manches Lokal in AT und CH.
Excellent fresh pasta and delicious sauces. We went a few times and it was always such a treat having dinner here. Good options for vegetarians too.
The food felt authentic, the chef was extremely nice and made sure we enjoyed the food. The main good thing about it is the chef doesn't try to create a lot of foods, he sticks to what he is good at, which is pasta.
The pasta is house made and I can say the best I have eaten so far. Also the topping on the spaghetti was a new experience in taste fabulous! If you have any requests speak with the owner, Italian, of course and he and his team will do there best to accommodate you.
I ordered pasta with shrimps, not bad but not good too… Didn’t like the onion there coz the taste was like it was semi boiled. I think it is bad combination with pasta. Better to use leek instead of onion. And for sure more zucchini and more parmesano cheese have to be added!
After travelling in Thailand for 6 weeks we were craving some Italian pasta. The Rolling Pin the is the perfect place to get your pasta fix. We both had the bolognese and it was very tasty. The tiramisu is also worth checking out. Lovely owner as well.
4,8 rate is not affordable for this place.
Very medium level of Italian food for too high prices.
If this cafe was opened in any place of Italy it would be burnt immediately
Absolutely the best pasta we have experienced! Staff was wonderful, let children learn and watch how to roll the dough and cut the pasta.
A must try!
A good concept with uninspiring experience. As soon as the sad bread arrived I understood that it was going to be a frustrating restaurant. The main dishes were good but I got stomach cramps right after, and the amount of mosquitoes was out of control. Waiters were demotivated. I'll tmaybe ake away next time
Simple hand made pasta place. But even hand made can't save pasta from very basic sauces.
Super delicious handmade pasta! The owner of the restaurant is super friendly and so are the staff. If you're looking for authentic pasta in Thailand I would highly recommend going here?
Pasta was home made thats why I could give 3 stars, pasta sauce etc.was a disaster.
Staff was nice and the vibe was also ok but
if know real Italien food you will be dissapoonted.
Ps. Do not take a Cappuccino.
My favorite pasta place in the world. All the meat pastas are amazing here. You can see the owner making pasta right in from of your eyes!
