The Rock Bar & Restaurant reviews
12We like the place. We ordered Thai food and tomato soup (my favorite, haha!) and we like it! Price was also reasonable.
The view was good. Food ok, drinks typical, really nice works. The bathrooms crack me up. Mainly the mirror at the sink to see behind you!
Extensive cocktail menu (they have my favourite - Caipirinha!) and also incredible chill deep house music
Great drinks and great location overlooking the beach. The no name vegetable critters were very good. Service was excellent.
Definitely good place. Prices are good and so if the food. But the view is spectacular! Come here for sure
Food is not so tasty, we sad "no spicy" but got very spicy. They do not serve everything on the menu.
Great view, good sea breeze and a good respite from the overly loud music down on the beach during the evening. Reasonably priced drinks and friendly staff
Pretty epic memories from this place. But now its a star fading away from the glory-days that was Haad Rin parties. Drinks are recommended. Beware of mosquitoes though.
Great place if you want to escape the deafeningly loud beach bar music on a slower night. Cocktails are about $1 more expensive but worth it as there is less people, better (lower) music and a better view. They also let you play your own music!
Very friendy staff (provided us mosquito spray) Nice green curry and quite cheap. Minus one star for the dirty toilet.
Amazing view, right at the end of the party beach. Chill music, although more island vibes than my jam. Friendly staff. Food is mixed - the burrito was more of a stuffed crepe for knife and fork eating, but was good. The jacket potato was exactly right, and came with a huge pile of yummy garlic. The chicken tikka masala, however, was more a soup than a curry, and they'd added the dairy directly into the hot liquid without tempering it, so it did that chunky curdling thing that milk does if you heat it too much too fast. I'd also avoid the coffee in the future.
