The Ridge

A real scandal! This villa looks nothing like the photographs on the sites. No more maintenance with mold, algae in the swimming pool, a black terrace floor that has never been cleaned, interior doors of the fridges filled with yellowish and moldy drips. Several constructions nearby with a lot of noise between 8 a.m. And 5: 30 p.m. Superficial cleaning once a week. (the manager will tell me that I have to pay extra in case of more careful cleaning of the floors!) no cleaning utensils during the stay.one dish towel for 8 people per week. The same goes for sponges, bedding and bath towels.

Ultra low cost dishes, knives that don't cut, no rice cooker and just two old saucepans.the swimming pool is cleaned on request maximum once a week and at 24/25 degrees because facing north.the manager is exceptionally incompetent and does not respond to protest messages during the stay. The agent who had touted the villa has also disappeared…. The commission being received.

Add sewage smells at several times of the day and sheets in a pitiful state of hygiene.

Chinese owner: profitability will be its only priority and the calculation of the price of the electricity consumed was deliberately exaggerated despite the contract. Note that water is billed at 120 bath per unit while it is 45 bath elsewhere. In short, THEFT!

This villa should be idyllic - it has a great location, good design, and is very spacious. Unfortunately the villa we stayed in (Villa 9) was completely let down by poor maintenance and management. From the moment we checked in, we encountered a plethora of problems, starting from two of the rooms having just been freshly painted, meaning that they were unusable due to the smell and wet paint, which we were only informed about upon check-in. Additional issues included 3 broken air-conditioning units, several non-functioning/broken appliances (dishwasher, lamps, etc.), several broken locks, a washing machine so dirty that clothes came out dirtier than they went in, 3 broken TVs, a clogged drain, and a problem with spiders in one of the bedrooms. In a nutshell, it was just not ready to host a group of guests. While the local staff were helpful and made some effort at fixing or compensating for some of these issues (including fixing the washing machine after several days, additional cleaning, waiving electricity costs, and offering us additional fans instead of aircon - which we declined since the rooms already had fans), the villa management behaved unprofessionally, blaming us for some of the problems, and even claiming some never existed! With better care it could be nice, although is also very expensive. Overall I can't recommend this villa given the many far better villa options on Koh Samui!

Sehr schöne Anlage, freundliches Personal und eine tolle Aussicht. Leider ging in meinem Zimmer die Deckenbeleuchtung nicht.

Very nice facility, friendly staff and a great view. Unfortunately the ceiling lights in my room didn't work.

Beautifully appointed and quite cheap compared to non CoVid times. Sit on the balcony and watch the Sea Eagles soar.

Beautiful place with infinity pool. Easily fit 10 people. Only downfall is 2 bedrooms are not connected to main building but not an issue for us at all. Basement room is it's own suite with kitchen!

Beautiful villas. True luxury. Views are amazing. Staff are amazing. Only complaint is the steep hill. Taxis don't like to bring people up so you might have to walk. It's steep and poorly lit at night.
