The Dive Academy

Coco it's been a great guide, perfect explanations of the diving site, good mood, and security procedures, wich made our diving a pleasure. The boat, the crew and organization very good.
Just one thing to improve. I wanted to know what the settings of the computer were, and the woman in charge told me it was all automatic and should change anything. As an instructor I want to know and check everything in my dive equipment, don't tell me it's all fine or "automatic".

Heath and Linfang are my instructors, they are amazingly nice people and professional instructors.

Really great team, very professional and reliable. Worked hard to make every dive great and diver safe.

Without doubt the best diving school on Koh Samui, and I have dived with most of the others. The Dive Academy made my diving fun and safe. Not only did I get free advice, as a avid photographer I was put with like minded divers which I thought showed the Dive Academy's attention to details. They have there own purpose built speed boats that were comfortable and clean, and all the staff were friendly and professional. The food on board was excellent, all in all I thoroughly recommend The Dive Academy to any one wishing to dive or snorkel around those lovey warm clear blues seas that they are blessed with. I will definitely be returning. Five stars from me!

Amazing dive experience with my family of 4 kids (10 to 15 yrs).

After extensive research decided to get our PADI Scuba Diver certificate with the dive academy based on safety (two divers for our family of five) and price. It's great they have their own facility where we could  practise our skills the day before diving in the open water, just to make sure all the kids were comfortable with diving and with Heath, our dive instructor. He was the best by the way. Always in control, patient, supportive and made sure we felt safe and relaxed during the entire trip.

The two dives at Ko Tao with Heath and Chris were an experience we will never forget, it was amazing to make our first ever dives at this beautiful location.
Since one of the kids had difficulties equalizing and had to break off his first dive, it is thanks to the patience and experience of Chris he managed to overcome this on the second dive and perform all skills needed for the certification.

It is needless to say that I would recommend diving with The Diving Academy to everyone, especially families with kids.

Competent and friendly instructors. Well organized. For example, we were the first boat at Sail Rock so we could do some dives before the place got overcrowded.

We went on a one day trip to Koh Tao for diving and snorkelling with these cool guys. We did a lot of research before and ended up going with definitely one of the best organized companies.
We had two amazing dives/snorkels and a delicious lunch in between and enjoyed the speedboat ride to Koh Tao and back. Our guide Inna pointed out a lot of great stuff and we saw to rays having sex (did you ever see this before? Looks funny because they are so flat hahaha).
They picked us up at our Villa (actually this one was hard to find and they managed to pick us up right on time (we love being right on time haha) and took us to the dive center where everything was already prepared.
The trip was perfectly planned, the boat driver was amazing coz we did not really feel the waves and the guides were so nice.
We had a great time and even when our parents forgot their towel AND CAMERA there, they made a call and gave everything back.
Thank you for this nice experience, we can highly recommend this company for whatever you want to do related to diving and snorkeling. They are professional, perfectly organized and super friendly.

Excellent dive shop, very professional, good gear, good boats. Time to sail rock: 50mins. Time to Koh Tao: 1.5 to 2hrs (depending on conditions).
Sail Rock is well worth it!

Best dive operation in Koh Sumi friendly & experienced diving instucters & dive masters.

Went for a discovery dive, very professional and pleasant atmosphere.
Heath, our instructor did all he could to make sure we are ready and feel comfortable and safe.
Before the open sea dive we went to a pool to start as my wife did not feel comfortable with breathing under water, Heath helped her alot to actually be able to do this.
All the instructors were very nice and the dives were very fun as well!

New equipment, nice staff, wonderful dives. I strongly recommend anyone to visit dive sites sround koh tao with the dive academy. As a divemaster I got wonderful service and my wife had two fun dives which she enjoyed.
