Than Sadet Waterfall National Park

It felt like 100 baht for a visit to the beach. In my opinion, the waterfalls were unspectacular, the signs are also a bit misleading, but the food on the really beautiful beach was tasty and inexpensive.

A historic day at Thạn Sadet Waterfall on Koh Phangan! Here I discovered the royal numeral sequence of King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) in the Chinese alphabet, along with the Rattanakosin era number 119, which points to the same year around 1900 AD. These inscriptions in the rocks tell of King Chulalongkorn's visit to the island. He took a bath here and spent time in a royal pavilion. Impressive how he cared for nature by planting Vatica diospyroides (Chan ka pho) and releasing chickens and pigeons to promote ecological balance. A place full of history and natural beauty!

So quiet, clean, cool and private. Waterfalls and pools to swim in with clear clean cool water. Great picnic spot

An access road with a car is complicated and most disappointingly there is almost no water.

Reachable from the scooter parking lot in 3 minutes. Ideal for cooling your feet.

The forest ranger of Thansadet Falls is/was a blind elderly man who lives alone in a cabin at the entrance to the falls and earns a living by selling items to tourists without being able to see the sums of bills that are given in his hands (on the basis of trustworthiness and integrity between people, a rare commodity these days). He even agreed to sing me a Thai song after a campaign of persuasion

The falls are located in the east part of the island (the wild and less touristic part, which is a good thing) and offers a number of pools of water infested with mosquitoes that you can dip in (no thanks). The main attraction is the lovely ranger at the entrance.

Beautiful view, I was alone and it's rainy day so the road was slippery and need to be clean, I was amazed of the view point after hiking for hour but I was there alone so all the 360 views are mine and stay there for 2hours beautiful

Waterfall, Not so much water this time if year but the beach is amazing and great beach for swimming. Restaurant as well reasonably priced and hotel,: Mai Pen Rai bungalows and restaurant.

This place has an entry fee of 100 per person but people if you visit after 4pm there is no one to take fee.however would not recommend to go after that as this place as it has very difficult track to the top but view is worth going

The water is deep and clean and the view is amazing

The beach is not very clean and there is an old resort near by which is covered in trash. On the bright side the view is fantastic. You can see huge rocks and mountain around the beach.

I assumed that because they charge 100 bht for entrance it will be kept clean, but that is not the case.

เป็นแหล่งท่องเที่ยวอิงประวัติศาสตร์เส้นทางประพาสต้นหัวเมืองใต้ในร. 5 น้ำตกไม่สู้อลังการแต่ก็มีนักท่องเที่ยวเวียนเข้าออกทั้งวัน

อุทยานแห่งชาติธารเสด็จ-เกาะพะงัน ตั้งอยู่ในท้องที่ตำบลเกาะพะงัน ตำบลบ้านใต้ อำเภอเกาะพะงัน จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี ห่างจากฝั่งจังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานีประมาณ 80 กิโลเมตร ลักษณะภูมิประเทศทั่วไปเป็นภูเขาสูงสลับซับซ้อนทอดยาวตามแนวทิศเหนือ-ใต้ มีที่ราบตามหุบเขาและบริเวณอ่าวต่างๆ รอบเกาะ โดยมียอดเขาสูงสุด คือ ยอดเขาหรา มีความสูงจากระดับน้ำทะเลปานกลาง 635 เมตร มีป่าเขาที่อุดมสมบูรณ์ เป็นแหล่งต้นน้ำลำธารที่สำคัญของเกาะพะงัน
ไฮไลต์ของอุทยานฯ เป็นน้ำตกที่ไหลลงสู่ทะเล และไม่เพียงอยูที่สภาพป่าอันสมบูรณ์ ด้วยความหลากหลายทางชีวภาพเท่านั้น หากยังพบกล้วยไม้ที่มีลำต้นใหญ่ที่สุดในโลกอีกด้วย

Beautiful place, full of pipes that lessen the magic. Easy access from the road 100 m walk down the hill.

Few min steep walk to reach. Pretty nice except cant go much further then initial view. The hoses inside and around the water is a real eye sore.

Piękne wodospad. Miejsce warte obejrzenia. Woda w nim jest cały czas (w odróżnieniu od innych na wyspie). Droga na górę nie jest trudna- każdy da radę.

Beautiful waterfall A place worth seeing. The water in it is all the time (unlike others on the island). The way to the top is not difficult - everyone can do it.

Even In rainy season it wasn't wort much, but if you have your own chip transportation and a free time to spend its nice, not more then that

We went in the first week of October and it was rainy season there. But still no water in the water fall ️.
Not worth to visit this place.

Wonderful and quite sperated beaches at the far east of koh phangan.go there of you like to stay at a less crowded area with a deep seashore to swim at.waves can be quite strong over there.
