Tauchen auf KohTao (Turtle Divers) at Simple Life Divers

I went to Koh Tao to do my open water course. First, I reached out to few schools and Verena professionalism, warmth and responsiveness made me feel at the right place so I intuitively chose her school for my first diving experience and I am glad I did. I had absolutely no exposure to diving before and now I can’t wait for my next diving experience.
On my way to Koh Tao, I got sea sick and I wasn’t sure when I would be able to start, Verena was highly supportive and followed up with me a few times without putting any “commercial” pressure.
She was amazing at explaining the whole process and making the onboarding very smooth and enjoyable, she is on top of everything with a relaxed attitude.
In terms of diving, I was lucky to have Nici (pronounced Nikki) as an instructor, she is an amazing diver and human full of energy with excellent teaching skills and a very thorough approach while keeping it fun. She did an outstanding job guiding us slowly but surely from our first meeting with the diving world to diving in a depth of 18m. And my favorite highlight was witnessing the magic of deep water life from the colorful fishes (we saw sea slugs, barracuda and others), to the reefs and the other scuba divers bubbles. Truly unforgettable memories.

I got my open water diving license from Turtle Divers. I'm totally satisfied and so grateful that everything worked out so well.
Nici is a super nice diving instructor. I always felt safe at her side and it was a lot of fun spending the three days with her.
The atmosphere in the diving school was also very pleasant and friendly.

The diving school was great for doing the open water course. The whole process was well planned and everyone was super welcoming. Absolutely recommended.

Great diving school! We had previously arranged a diving course with Verena and were able to postpone it spontaneously because the ferry arrived later than planned.
The support from the diving instructor Chris was very professional and very calm. He knew what to do in every situation. He took a lot of time and showed understanding, especially when there were problems.
If I had more time, I would have taken more courses!

I was able to complete my Advanced Open Water Diver here within 2 days. At home we looked for a diving school with German employees so that I could communicate well and feel comfortable. Nevertheless, I was very excited and nervous, but the nervousness was taken away from me from the first moment. Celina welcomed me warmly from the start and immediately radiated a feeling of serenity. This was also confirmed during the dives. Beforehand, she always explained everything to me calmly and I was able to ask any questions. In addition to the online course for the theory, she taught me the theory in a relaxed and uncomplicated manner. Everyone on the dive boat was also in a good mood, helpful and friendly. Since Celina made me feel safe, all 5 dives were great fun. I was able to really enjoy it and was totally fascinated by the diving spots. The wreck diving at 30m and the night dive were definitely a highlight. I felt very comfortable and would go to this diving school again and again. Celina took away my fears and made sure that I really enjoyed the training.
So many thanks to the team for the experience and the relaxed atmosphere.

Absolute recommendation! We did an introductory diving course. The theory part prepared me very well for diving for the first time. Our diving instructor Chris took his time and patiently supported us while diving.

I have already registered my daughter for an advanced open water course from Germany.
Verena responded quickly, was available at any time and took care of everything. Accommodation etc.
Verena is the boss of the diving school. Celina then did the actual course. She was great. Mega sensitive and totally relaxed! She radiated calm and serenity from the first second and was able to immediately pass on this feeling to her student. So the deep diving and the night dive were pure relaxation and great fun. We can only say a big thank you to everyone and give our unreserved recommendation for this diving school! Despite all the calm and serenity, the safety-relevant factors were never neglected! Great attention was paid to safety.

Ich war hier zum ersten Mal tauchen und habe meinen Open Water Diver gemacht. Es war alles super - von der Organisation bis zum letzten Tauchgang. It was an absolutely perfect experience from start to finish! Wayne & Lydia were knowledgeable, patient, and made us feel comfortable throughout the entire process.

One of the things that stood out to me was Wayne’s ability to make the class both educational and entertaining. His sense of humor made the class very engaging and easy to follow.

Ich hatte anfangs erst Respekt/Angst vor dem tauchen und bin so froh dass ich meinen Tauchschein bei dieser Tauchschule gemacht habe. Es ist alles sehr familiär sodass man sich schnell wohlfühlt.:)
Verena ist super lieb und hat alles perfekt für uns organisiert. Mit ihr hat die Kommunikation auf deutsch stattgefunden.

Unser Tauchlehrer war Chris: super sympathischer Typ und einfach nur cool! Er hat mir die Angst vor dem Tauchen genommen und es waren echt tolle Tage mit ihm und den anderen drei Mädels.

Schlicht und ergreifend perfekt!
Verena macht einen super job und sorgt dafür dass man sich unter, wie über Wasser sehr wohl und sicher fühlt. Auch wenn man am Anfang ziemlich nervös ist, ist man wunderbar aufgehoben. Selbst als totale Anfänger ist die Lernkurve enorm und das ganze macht dabei auch noch sehr viel Spaß. Ich kann Verena ausnahmslos weiterempfehlen und freue mich bald wieder dort zu sein.

Hey hey,
wir (meine Freundin und ich) waren vorher noch nie tauchen und waren daher etwas nervös, haben uns aber sehr schnell sehr wohl gefühlt.
Verena hat sich gut um uns gekümmert und wenn eine Übung nicht gleich geklappt hat haben wir sie entspannt wiederholt bis sie funktionierte.
